Well, if you just want to spend your day around midvalley, there's no better choice. The facilities and room are clean and well maintained. Their service was prompt and helpful too. Only complain is the parking, but what you expect from gardens/midvalley parking?

Pluses: 1. Awesome location Just outside KLCC, easy LRT ride into KL Sentral and KLCC. The LRT station is quite a walk away. 2. Huge room, luxurious bathroom Negatives: 1. Unpredictable hot water temperature in the shower. I leave the settings as it is, and the next time the temperature is different. Unresponsive at first and later become too hot. Please put some clearer instructions as to how to increase / decrease the hot water. 2. Carparking is a challenge because there is no dedicated hotel guest parking. At peak hours, it was frustrating.

What would you expect from a name like St Giles? Well, it's certainly not St Regis. The entire place looks aged. I was staying at the Hotel, and a family friend at the Residence. Whilst the hotel looked tired, the Residence was very weary. Unless you really cannot find some nicer hotels at the Bt Bintang area, then take this one which is in-location at Mid-Valley mall, but really expensive as compared to those near KLCC. As well, it's horrendous traffic everyday during the peak hours as shoppers, tenants, and everyone else in Bangsar converge. And if you miss the hotel entrance, you go basically have to go one big round again.

We had a staycation over the weekend at Gardens Hotel. I must say all their staff has gone beyond expectations in extending their hospitality to us. We felt so overwhelmed, we must put in on review to reconigise their extra effort. Mr.khairul, Reen, Nursiyah, Mel, Mr Badre were the people that I have encounter with during my stay and they have extended good service and this is Malaysian hospitality. Rooms were so clean, nice, cosy and everything was great. Housekeeping staff Ferhad is so helpful. Buffet breakfast spread was great, love the nasi lemak n freshly baked pastries. I will definitely come back here again and will look forward for my next visit here. Keep it up 👍👍👍.

My family love to spent our holiday here. Especially during christmas. And we have been come and back again at Garden more than 20 years. The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. My Mom, Hafizah Ismail, really love and satisfied with excellent service by Ms Reen, she is kind and very accommodating and has been helping my mom ever since. All the staff went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel!

On top of all the things most travelers look for when choosing a hotel, such as locality, cleanliness, facilities and of course the price, the people factor is to me of paramount importance. It is here at the St. Giles Residence where during my numerous stays, the frontline staff have been excellent! They are friendly, helpful, polite and unfailing. Stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment, checking in and out was fuss free and the staff were friendly. Location is awesome, easily accessible and connected to 2 huge malls with lots of shopping and dining options. The rooms were dated and not very well maintained (one of my bathroom's clothes hook had fallen off and the bidet spray was just a hose. The pot and pan provided were very scratched and stained so we didn't dare use them). The room also had a musky smell and sliding door had to be yanked open as it probably hadn't been oiled in a very long time. My toddler spilled a little water on the living room carpet so I dabbed a piece of tissue on the spill to try soaking some of it up. The tissue ended up black like I had just wiped down a very dusty surface hence it made us wonder how long the carpet had not been properly cleaned? Sitting on the carpet also made us itch and my toddler developed a runny nose and water eyes from allergies by the 2nd day. As much as we loved the location, we would not likely stay again unless there was a refresh done.

Despite requesting items in advance - the hotel has been unable to provide a high chair - which makes it difficult to feed our toddler. And whilst there is a kitchen - no utensils or cleaning equipment is provided (so you cant wash up), and my husband just ate cereal out of mug with a teaspoon. This hotel needs to think about the customer experience if they are positioning themselves as a residence.

I stayed at the residence part of the Gardens. The rooms are OK, but not the newest anymore. Rooms are in dark colors, walls, furniture, and the like, with colors ranging from brown to dark brown to black. So not the new modern designs with light colors. Kitchen area was there but very limited items. All in the room worked fine and appeared well maintained. The laundry area on our floor, from the 2 washing machines and dryers only 1 each worked, the others were broken. Swimming pool was OK, well maintained and the water quality was checked daily every morning. The towel management was a bit strange, sometimes there but most of the time not. The place is easily accessible, and the Grab pick up & drop area is right in front of the entrance. Check in & out worked fine, staff was very friendly. Although in its age, its still recommendable

It's been 2 years I haven't been back and it is good to see the familiar smiles on the faces I know. They're still as friendly as ever. The hotel itself is strategically located and boasts a wonderful team of staffers.
