Been here twice. First in Nov, then come again in Dec as I need to settle some work in UIA.

The hotel is located at shoplot, they provide parking in front of the hotel, guarded 24hours I think, as there are few security guards in front of the hotel. They will also welcome you by opening the door for you everytime you enter the hotel.

The first time I stay here, I book for standard twin room. The second time, I book for standard room but the receptionist upgrade my room to deluxe room for free. Yeah. It cost me RM85 per night.

During the first visit, the wifi is superb, so fast! But during the second visit, I have some difficulties to connect to wifi and not so fast as before. Sigh.

As for the breakfast, they only serve plain breakfast like cheap cereals, plain nasi goreng, mee or kue teau goreng, toasted bread, fruits, tempura nuggets, sausage, wedges, eggs, baked beans, coffee & juice. Thats all. Haha

Overall, this hotel is not an average 3 stars hotel. It is so comfortable, the water pressure also good. I could say it is also walking distance to KL Festival / Setapak Sentral, only if you did not mind walking 3km away. Hehe.

The hotel is extremely nice - so comfortable and clean and well designed. The tv in the room was great, and the tea making facilities were a bonus. The only problem was the location - there wasn't much around the hotel so had to order a takeaway on our first night as we were very tired and didn't want to travel far. Also the nearest metro station is a 30/40 minute walk. However taxis are cheap and if you have a car/moped this is not problem at all. I would stay here again as the price is excellent value for the standard of accommodation, however download Uber and Grab for the cheapest taxi options.

This is a new hotel located at Setapak. Very clean and looks more grand than any other hotels around the area with same price range. However I do recommend calling the hotel to confirm your booking. During my stay, I couldn't connect to their wifi, so if wifi is an issue you may ask the hotel to get a room with better wifi connection. Of course it also depends on their room availability. Overall, I would recommend this hotel for a comfortable stay.

Their 2 staffs - both lady in hijab . 1st July we came and stayed overnight. We had our breakfast and the lady which entertained us was so rude to Chinese customers from China and she was not friendly at all. Grumpy and no sincerity in her work. She wore black attire and hijab. Another lady wore red attire was having the same attitude with no smile to customers and looking annoyed with her job. The room hotel is not sound proof. You can hear pretty much everything. Overall, they an improve but the staffs I think they don’t suit to be in customer service line.

they do not include breakfast if you go there in weekend. and the staff was so rude. he rudely inform us that we only book 1 day, althought we book for 2 day.finally when the manager come, only the misunderstanding is solved. parking is very risky since the area is very quite especially at night.

Had a wonderful stay in this hotel that is friendly and has a homie feeling to it for the environment. I was greeted with a friendly welcome by the hotel staff when i arrived and being guided to the parking that is provided at the front of the hotel. Checking in took a bit longer than usual but it is because they are still new and i would understand. Room size is good and also had a big toilet. One of the special thing that this hotel has is it has a in house car wash that washes your car at a special price when you stay there. They even do polishing. They have an inhouse cafe and provides breakfast buffet at a relatively good price of rm14 per person. Overall i would recommend this hotel and give it a two thumbs up. Everything in the hotel is also new.

Stayed in the triple bed room ( 1 Queen and 1 Single) for one night with a toddler. Room is clean & simple, spacious for a budget hotel. Breakfast is ok. Hotel is ok if you are staying for a quick transit. Understand that it is a budget hotel, dont expect 4 stars quality.

Hotel air-cond not functioning. If you don’t mind signing up for sweating combo with sleeping, then it’s fine. Water from the Aircond dribbled entire night. Confronted hotel concierge the nxt day but he’s not so friendly. No eye contact. Not apologetic. Fineeee. Coz it’s cheap..... so it come with a package of bad service + not friendly staff. I thought this is the end. But no! The towel was very old. The coffee stirrer is used with coffee stain. 😢 shampooo dispenser not functioning. Bed sheet is coarse. I’m am not a fussy customer. Trust me. This is the only hotel I gv bad rv. Guys, try air bnb or other hotel. Don’t pick this just bcoz it is convenient. This advice is for those come for tarc convocation 2020/2021/... (if the hotel still here). 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

The reception loading bay smell very nice and clean. And the room, we got the triple bed for rm138 and deposit rm50. The room is very clean and nice. There a kettle, toothpaste, tv, towel, safety deposit, aircond. I give 4 star coz my room don't have any view and the reception can improve the customer service to be more friendly to customer. Overall, im satisfied. 😀

Hello there, first of all if you are referring to Awana Hotel Genting Highlands in Pahang, it is about an hour or so drive depending on traffic situation. Unless, you are just attending a function in Awana Hotel and would prefer to stay in Worldview Grand Hotel, then it is a personal choice. My suggestion for a foreign traveller to Malaysia would be: (a) stay 1-2 nights at Awana Hotel to enjoy the highland atmosphere and its surrounding attractions or up to Genting Highlands itself for a touristy feel. After that, you can still opt to stay in Worldview Grand Hotel in Kuala Lumpur. Hope my two cents worth can help you decide. Welcome to Malaysia!
