3 person at counter for check in, working at a speed of 1. Had to stand there like a dumba** while a deep sh** switch to my line and cut infront of me to check in. View outside the room literal 🗑. Only good thing is the location. Will be going to another hotel next year I visit KL. Pic taken from the room, and I booked more than a week of stay.
Stayed here for 2 nights as it was close to Dataran Merdeka for the KL Marathon. Its also right next to the LRT, which makes it very convenient. For its price, it is a very comfortable hotel, the staff are pleasant, and the room is very clean. I wont stay here again if I have no business in this part of KL, but if I were to join the KL Marathon again, will definitely come back.
Hostel is located at strategy location where can easily access to LRT masjid jamek station. Room is small and the glass door of bath room is missing. Buffet breakfast is available upon you book the room with breakfast. Breakfast is just nice and can not expect more with the price I book. Need to take note that this hotel does not have parking facility and the private parking next to hotel is charging at rm50 per night. It is very expensive. However u can park your vehicle at another private parking behind the hotel. It charge rm25 per night until 8am of next day.
Kudos to the staff (a lady and gentleman) who checked us in past midnight and help us with amenities even when the housekeeping was off-duty. I left my purse in in the safe and only realised when I reached Singapore. The staff, Dayana, was helpful, assisted with the courier I arranged, printed out the airway bill & I received my item swiftly. I thought the hotel could improve with their breakfast though, at least an egg menu or station which is rather basic. Just to note, the sofabed description is not accurate though, it is just a sofa. Thanks to the staff who made the difference during this stay. Much Appreciated.
14/05/2022 room 504 Stayed a night here due to too late going back home. Should we get started.... The hotel is OK new, took over the building and convert in to Cosmo Hotel. Just walking distance to Petaling Street (Chinatown) LRT, MRT, just around the corner. Parking The hotel do not provided parking for in house guests, the open car park next to it is more expensive then PAVILION Shopping mall. Lobby Lobby is located at 1st floor, consider nice, but check in was slow due to only 1 person working available. Room Mini room was given with 2 single bed, bathroom was clean and so is the room. But there's no view from windows. Swimming pool Sorry guys... No swimming pool available at this hotel. Breakfast As I do not takes they breakfast package, so I definitely can't tell nice or not. But no worries there's a lot of local food available around. Overall Parking is way too expensive for a night. Many local food available around the corner (Halal n non Halal) Walking distance to Petaling Street (Chinatown) The hotel is under management by Dorsett international. …
Christ, where do you start with this place? I booked a luxury room….I got no windows and a room that’s fresh out of Soviet Russia! You see that picture from the rooftop of Petronas towers? It doesn’t exist. Honestly, two star at best and that’s being very generous
The worst 4 hotel, i ever stay. Check in under heavy rain nobody bother. Room have coffee and tea come with only sugar but no creamer. I ask why no creamer they say will charge. I am not asking extra in the first place. Order room service deliver to other room. All they say sorry and they just take it from the wrong room and place it IN front of my room after one and half hour outside other room and it was cold but the lady say it already heated up again. Front office person name Fitri the most rude person i ever come across. Faucet is coming out yellowish water. Food deliver is so cold. TV not working at all, can you imagine TV is the only entertainment i get inside the room and it not working They treat us like wanted prisoner. ******I HOPE PEOPLE GET TO READ THIS AND NEVER BOOK THIS HOTEL AND NEVER STAY IN THIS HOTEL.…
This is the first time I have left a message on tripadvisor, as I know the epidemic has affected many people and their lives are not easy, so I don't give bad messages to avoid affecting their reputation. But this time I was really disappointed and angry. My husband and I arrived at the hotel at 9pm on the 23rd of February and then had to stay in quarantine for 7 days. The front desk that received us was nice at first and we were tired and sleepy after getting off the plane. But we found that only 2 towels were provided and nothing else, which is really the first time I have stayed in so many hotels without hand towels and bath mat. I know maybe you are worried about covid so we need to pay extra for the hand towel, but why do you say your hotel doesn't have bath mat. Are you serious? It's a 4 star hotel, no bath mat and the floor is wet, isn't it dangerous if accidentally fall? And when I came out of the shower, there was a lot of water on the floor and then when my husband went to shower, the water basically came out of the bathroom onto the carpet and the carpet was wet and smelled the next day!!! And then they don't give disposable slippers and we have to stay like this for many days, I'm really gosh. Then there was the drinking water, 2 of us needed to stay for 7 days but the hotel only provided us with two 5L drinking water, do you think we were drinking enough with that amount? Lastly the coffee and tea, your term and condition says we can get a free refill every day, but it's been 4 days and you haven't had one for us. When I called to inform the counter, there was an additional charge. I came to this hotel to isolate myself because of the convenience and wasn't the price already included? There is no more service, even coffee and tea and even water have to be paid for separately. Is this how your service treats us? We were kept as if we were prisoners or animals. I even found a needle on the bed head today, something so dangerous that we were allowed to stay without checking it. I don't understand how this hotel got 4 stars. If you want to say that the service is different because we are in quarantine I will not accept this as a reason. Since you have charged for it, at least the most basic services should be there, otherwise don't accept to be a quarantine hotel.…
Stayed at the Cosmo Hotel for Quarantine in January 2022. Arrived from the airport around 9pm and was ushered into a dirty back corridor huddled in with about 6 other people standing over a single table and was required to fill out an entry form. No attempt at observing correct Covid19 spacing protocols. Perhaps it was here that I contracted Covid19 myself. The room was an adequate size but that is only because I booked and paid for an upgraded room. Studio Suite was about 45sqm. Pretty small for quarantine. By far the biggest issue with the stay at the Cosmo was the standard of the food. The food was always served at room temperature regardless if it was meant to be hot or cold. It was of a very poor standard, particularly the western/pasta dishes. From the temperature of the food it was clear the food safety protocols had been subordinated to Covid19 procedures and staff convenience requirements. One wonders how long the food had been sitting around for before it arrived at the door. This is dangerous. Perhaps even more dangerous than catching Covid. They could consider how airlines serve food, even in economy. Use pre-packaged items such as milk, cereal and desserts. Serve the hot food in a separate dish that is insulated and retains heat. Then it can be added to the other items at the last minute. As stated above I caught Covid half way through the Quarantine period, so now my nightmare continues in even worse locations. That’s another story. One positive though, always look for the positives, I’ve lost a hell of a lot of weight!…
We arrived with our family (2 teenage daughters) for the government mandated 14-day quarantine (even for fully vaccinated travelers) from late July to early August. We debated a lot between standard package and premium and went with standard and were assigned to Cosmo Hotel. The staff was AMAZING. Hats off to Kavita, Syira, Cosmo Hema, Michael, Hanif and many others. While the rooms were small (it is in Chinatown and likely not built for 14-day, never leave your room stays!), everything else was fabulous. The wifi was outstanding. The food was good and hot. The service and communication was top notch. Daily deliveries were allowed (before 5 pm). The bed, pillows and room were clean and very comfortable. The shower and bathroom was modern and nice. We called ahead as soon as we found out which hotel and MIchael and Hanif were super helpful in ensuring we had non-smoking rooms (the entire hotel is non-smoking, though with 14-day quarantines, it is worth checking!) and adjoining rooms for our family of four. They were ready for us. We were in quarantine during our anniversary and when Kavita found out, she was super accommodating in making sure a special food delivery made it to us and the staff even provided a cake for us! This extra, human touch goes a long way when you are in hotel quarantine. On a note comparing standard package and premium - standard is a bit of guesswork as you could be assigned to any hotel. That said, many of our friends who were in premium places had enormous problems with poor, cold food, inability to control the AC (imagine being freezing for 14 straight days), and unusable wifi. Despite paying 2 - 3 times more, it may (or may not) be better. While we wished for more space (or even dreaming of a balcony!), Cosmo definitely did a great job for our 14-day quarantine experience. Big thanks to the staff for making this possible - and I definitely recommend Cosmo Hotel for their friendly, supportive staff.…
