The hotel is located in Bukit Bintang where there are a lot of food stalls or food choices. Also, walking distance going to malls and bus stops where you can ride FREE bus going to Petronas tower, KL tower, Chinatown, and Little India.
They also provided us a "Teksi" going to KLIA2 for a very reasonable rate!
The rooms are not so spacious and not soundproof. But they always make sure that rooms are clean. New set of towels everyday and free bottled water.
And, almost forgot. FREE FAST WIFI!

Hotel is old but interior of room is still ok, the room need a new slick of paint lots of chip wall on beds sides. Room and bathroom is spacious with fridge, big wardrobes, desk/chairs, lots of power points/lights and the tv has lots of channels to watch. Love the busy location but room on level 6 with Windows is still quiet. The staff is very nice and even allow early check in at 11.30am. Good value.

Super old and poor hotel, The hotel is cheating us. We booked through agoda but they cancel the booking and ask us to pay directly. Then when we came: no electricity, no water, elevator can't work. We checkout and ask for refund they confirmed but on system they cheated and we still can't received the money back. Please avoid this very old hotel.

Our bag was stolen and they didn't even bother to compensate us anything. We didn't insist at the time because we had to rush to catch our flight. They left our luggage out in the open for people to easily grab it and only one person was there to take care of the luggages & when he left the items, our bag was easily stolen. We've always stayed here but never again.

After checked it out online I booked 3 nights at Sungei Wang. When I got there I realised how wrong I was. First. The hotel you see online can't be the one we saw with our own eyes. It's dirty, filthy, mouldy, smells and the only good thing you can say about it is its location.
Our bed linen was dirty, full of stains and torn. Same thing with the carpet. Air-con hadn't been cleaned for years. Bathroom was way below average, filthy and there were some hairs in the bathtub.
There was no way we could spend one single night in there. We left our stuff in our room and spent 3 hours at internet cafe to find something better. Checked out in the same day.
You've been warned!

hiya all just got back from a stay at the sungei wang hotel thats on bukit bintang and boy was it a let down !! iv stayed at this hotel around 2 years ago and thought id stay again there as it has a great location near the hawker stalls and malls and the monorail i stayed 2 days there as it was the end of my trip, and it was a mistake the decline in the hotel was immense i had booked around 6 months ago at a price of MR118per night but when i got to receptionthey said my room had gone up in price to MR138 so i shown him the reciept i had and MR118was what i was paying and he couldnt argue as i had the reciept then when i got to my room on the 3rd floor it was so shaby the bath was so filthy i rand reception to get someone up to come clean it!! the was shampoo and soap spilt all over the bath which had been painted and the paint was all peeling off so it looked brown the bathroom it self hadnt been cleaned in a month of sundays and was filthy and stained as was the sink also no plugs for the sink
the room itself had not been hoovered or cleaned or dusted, there wer holes in the wall and the tea cups wer stained and not washed, i must say the bed was clean but thats about all that was good in the hotel and also there is no breakfast provided sorry but this hotel wont be getting my vote again!!

Well, the room we booked didnt have a window , so we paid extra and got a deluxe room .. lol .. look at my pics ! I dont have to say more ....
I absolutely couldnt have stayed here for more than 1 night . It's definately not a hotel where you relax , chill out after a day of shopping and watch movies in the room. But if you are out all day , not return to your hotel until 1am and leave again very early .. then you will survive one night.. If not please dont come here.
Okay .. the location is GREAT and I have to be honest .. i did find the staff very friendly.
But next time I visit KL I would pay a bit more and stay elsewhere.
