Friendly staff. Very good location just beside LRT station. Good Indian restaurants as well as some supermarkets near by. Walkable distance to Masjid Jamek and Dataran Mardeka. We got good views of both from our room as well. Room was a bit too small for 3 persons even though it had all the amenities promised. Also we could hear the notices of trains passing through the station for a long time in to the night. Otherwise a great room at a great location. Superb value for money.
Best budget hotel in KL. Easy check in process, sufficient lift, superb service, kettle, mineral water, tv channel, water heater, superb water pressure, access card very convenient allow you to enter hotel even without receptionist that time.. nothing less. Most important very strategic location.. love it so much..
The room is clean and well organized. The services are also good and well entertained. Stayed in a room with a window which facing to the main road and train. Heavy sleeper like me won't bother with the noises. Easy access to LRT Masjid Jamek with only less than 100 meter walking.
Stayed here for two nights and was very pleased with the booking. The location was great (right next door to a train station and 10 minutes stroll to Chinatown). The room was very clean and comfortable and small touches like toothbrush/toothpaste, bottled water, coffee and a hairdryer were great. Only catch is that walls are thin and the train goes right by the hotel so I’d recommend earplugs.
We enjoy spending two nights at this hotel. This hotel provides complete facilities and the staffs are friendly. Good service have been provided by the staffs, too. We will stay in this hotel again if we visited to KL.
This hotel is great for a few days stop over in KL. Train station is across the road and walking distance for all the many attractions. If your someone that all they want is a clean bed and room this is the place for you .
The location is superb. The rooms are comfy but if you get a room with window then it is very noisy. Now about the service I have to agree with some of the reviews that say their service is bad. The male malay grumpy reception guy is the worst too bad they don't use name plate there. I'd say only 1 out of 5 or 6 reception staff is nice and welcoming. We stayed for a long time and the first week was ok. But the second week things turned bad. They are stingy with the request of coffee cup. There is an electric kettle and 2 sachets of ready mix coffee but no cup and teaspoon so I requested for it and they told me it's not part of what I paid for? What will I do with the electric kettle then? Should I mix coffee straight in it? In the end they still brought two cups but it already left a bad taste in my mouth. Same with the request for extra pillow. We were staying for a week at a time and they made it hard to request for 1 extra pillow! I don't think that is such an unreasonable request. Internet worked well. Tv has 2 english channels, Asian Food Channel and AXN if I remember correctly. Housekeeping is not very satisfactory to me. They don't really clean much just fix the bed and replace towels thats it. Even forget to replace bath mat one time and it left the room all wet. Also one more thing. Please inform the housekeeping staff that if a guest is inside the room WAIT FOR THE GUEST TO OPEN THE DOOR DON'T JUST BARGE IN. I was surprised when the Indian housekeeping staff just used his key card and let himself in without waiting for me to open the door. I didn't feel safe. But really the biggest concern for me was the service. I hope people in this kind of business realize just how important who you put to work in your reception. One more instance I just remembered is when we check out I gave back the key card and said checking out. The dark thin Malay guy just received the key card and didn't say anything. I thought he was printing a receipt for me which is standard with hotels. I waited a good few minutes when I had to ask ahh are we done? Then he said yes. Oh my golly. No receipt no thank you for staying with us not even a smile. …
Booked this hotel through Agoda on 8-Aug for a stay on 28-Sep for the KL Standard Charted Marathon. Had emailed hotel directly for reconfirmation of booking, but no reply - bad sign. Proceeded to call hotel to get confirmation, but hotel receptionist was very reluctant to double check in the system and ensured me that as long I have the Agoda voucher with me, the booking is already confirmed. As ignorant as I was, I took his lying words - big regret. On 19-Sep got a surprise call from Agoda apologizing to me that hotel informed them that hotel is full and hence, need to cancel my booking at the last minute. How am I supposed to find another hotel at such short notice near the venue? This hotel really needs some improvement in their customer service. Totally unprofessional, unethical, inconsiderate, irresponsible, untruthful. It is a pity Agoda has to be the one taking the blame for this unfortunate event and had to compensate me. Shame on you Big M. I got fooled by so many good reviews in TripAdvisor.…
A very creative concept of a hotel , interior looks cheerful , bright and welcoming . Staffs were friendly and helpful . We were given a room at by the terrace and it was clean , comfortable and neat . There is a water filter and microwave provided at the pantry and it was beneficial for us guest and money saving . Also interestingly for guests who aren't familiar with the best places to sight seeing or food hunting , there are numbers of TimeOut magazines prepared which helps you on selections and also other reading materials provided . The terrace was spacious and nothing over the board , it is overlooking the Merdeka Square . Beside the hotel there is Mcdonald's , opposite the road is KFC and 4Fingers . You can also do your laundry about two blocks away . For night entertainment Reggae Mansion is just across the building . WiFi connection is strong . Bathroom was clean , heaters work well and toiletries was complete . Everything was perfect and I would definitely come back to stay , amazing . For the rooms there should be tea bags provided which we were only been given coffee sachets . Like me I would very much prefer with the choice of a creamer and sugar instead of a 3 in 1 .And also please provide a mini fridge in the room for us to store our drinks . Nothing else to say as my stay was fantastic .…
