This is the BEST hotel we'd have stayed in 2019, and we highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Kuala Lumpur.
The hotel goes beyond the standards, and everything were to our expectations.
All amenities are there; gym / infinity pool overlooking Kuala Lumpur / parking (oh boy, they have those elevators that park your car automatically!) / complimentary coffee and tea machines (the fancy ones - not your 3in1 cheapos).

Sorry for my late review but we have been travelling too often. One of the hotels we love most. 10 months later and my husband still talks about Red by Sirocco. Large doors and we can step outside to the balcony. The real coffee maker in room. The next day the Housekeeper gave us 2 extra capsules knowing we drank coffee. Thanks so much. A huge room. New bed sheets. 2 face basins: I just love this. Good gym room. Cute outdoor pool. Simple buffet breakfast but for the room price I don't have a problem. Efficient and friendly Reception lady who gave us a room on 17th floor. Wonderful male Housekeeper who cleaned our room. We also stayed in Mercure KL Shaw Parade in this trip and love Red more. I also love that except when checking in and out, we just go straight to our room without passing through Reception Floor.

Firstly I would like to thank the Chef who give us a lovely selera kampung food. I purchased the food thru Fave app and this app is more convenient from other food apps which I used to use before. I ordered a set meal for 2 @ RM40 which comes with white rice, ayam panggang percik, rendang udang minang, ikan tenggiri masak lemak cili api, sayur campuran jagung muda, ulam /sambal belachan, ikan masin , kurma, bubur cha-cha , air bandung cincau. With door step delivery.. Omg it’s really worth it!!!!. The packing / food portion and the taste really marvellous. The best Ramadan 2020 set meal to your door step if you’re lazy to cook for the day. Kudus to the F&B team for delicious food 👍

The Red Hotel Kuala Lumpur is located next to the Famous Yuk Kee Restorant in Dang Wangi. The check in office located 2 shops away next to the hotel entrance. This is very confuse to the first time check in guest.
The room is big and clean. The bed and pillows is comfortable. The Aircond is cold. The TV only have local channels and no Astro channels. The hotel provide Pack breakfast after 9.00am and usually fried mee-hoon or basil-penal and no drinks or juice .
Some of the room the Wi-Fi is not working at all and will cause the TV also not working because no internet.
Guest have to park the car in front of the hotel for RM 10.00 per day until next day 11.59am. If remove the car after 12.00pm then has to pay extra RM 10.00.
Will stay there again if the room rates is right.

My wife & i are at the end of our road trip in Malaysia with a self drive car ,hence we would like to write a review .
We checked in 2 weeks ago to Red hotel , and it was a great stay
the hotel image can be misleading from the exterior as it is situated in an old heritage street among old buildings.
Once to enter it is artisti,. the entrance is concierge and a beautiful painting with unique architecture
Lobby is on the 11th floor and beautiful painting and a red theme
they served a home made tonic water and it was a different drink every day .
Staffs were really warm always .
What a magnificent swimming pool with that view at the roof top !
the only sad thing is the Bar ,which need lot of improvement in terms of staff and food .Drinks were poorly stocked too.
We would like to make a special mention to one particular staff the Nepalese security guards and Lata at the Concierge
on our last day after we had checked out and got our car from the automated parking
the car would not start after several attempts.
the Nepalese guards pushed the car to get it started . we were so touched by their kindness.
However, the car did not start
Lata offered great help , .As a matter of fact we had rented the car from the airport and paid for 3 weeks .
several calls made to the agent went unanswered.
Lata knew exactly the procedures and handled it for us.. She was assertive and requested that the car be replaced. .
Although it took almost 2 hours and we were delayed, however, the mechanic arrived and replaced the car with a new battery .
the concierge counter is a very busy counter , nevertheless she had the same positive attitude towards all guests ,
We received the same kind of kindness form every staff at the hotel

The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were very spacious, modern and clean. Good views over the city. Excellent location within short walk of dang wangi and bukit nannas stations providing excellent transport links.
Plenty of options for breakfast although omelettes repeatedly slightly undercooked.
The pool area was nice but not very big, more seating than loungers and only got the sun until about 3pm.
We had to leave early for the airport and was disappointed that a breakfast box could not be provided when we had paid a bed and breakfast rate but other than that, no complaints.

Horrendous Check in experience, rude, unfriendly and lack of information. Pre- arrival Communication with hotel was very lacking, ignored multiple emails and requests. Pool restaurant and bar not open 10:30-3pm. Laundry collection was a disaster, delayed and very expensive.
Room was great, very spacious with good facilities. Taxi driver organized from airport was fantastic. Check in staff, Putri was unfriendly and unhelpful, checkout out staff Lata was opposite and provided great assistance. There are many great hotels in KL, stay elsewhere.

Used to stay in this hotel several of times before, good hotel with awesome location and friendly staff. After MCO, we want to should out support for this hotel, so choice to make a reservation, once we arrival and found the lobby is closed, no staff or any signboard in there, we need to went down to door entry and find staff to make the check-in. Staff telling us, no facility will provide, we can't choice the bed and there is no room-service and even any technician, the room tv channel all shutdown, no pool (understand) no restaurant, even car parking no people take care at all.
If you Red By Sirocco, mentioned all above issue before we book, i am sure will not book with this 0 star hotel at all, KL have a lot of hotel can choice. Well, just a lesson for me, i will not support to this hotel or any hotel under this company anymore. I will advise you, do not follow the same mistake as me as well.

I just chek out from your hotel.. it is horrible and I don’t know how you guys manage it. Check in at 10pm yesterday with no staff to attained me.. just a security person that pass me the key. There is no tv channel in the room n i call up the hotel but the same security person answered the call and say there is no maintenance personnel to repair it.. further more I book the room with breakfast but no breakfast was served to me. I am very disappointed and shame on you guys of this kind of service provided. I understood of current RMCO situation we are facing right now.. but don’t do business if you guys are not ready.. I feel liked i being scammed by you guys.. this would be the first and the last Of my stays in your hotel..😤😤😤😡😡😡

Last minute booking as gonna have a meeting tomorrow around this area, should we get started ...
The hotel is only been just few years around. Walking distance to Stripes Hotel (my previous review) previously before C19 they have they own cafe and bar, but at the moment have closed down.
Parking:
Is MYR10.00 per car for multiple parking a day.
The system is same as Fairfield hotel Jalan Pahang.
Lobby:
Use to be at some floors above, but have moved to ground floor few door next to it..They don't have own website, only 3rd party booking available. Check-in was fast helpful young man.
Room:
Is been long time I have not check in a hotel room with balcony available. Design, deco, layout is not like a 3star hotel, is more like a 4star hotel. But only things is what happens to the pictures hanging at the wall, and there's seem to be no TV channels available (only in house movies)
Swimming pool:
Located at the top floor of the hotel, nice scenery of it. I think might be very happening before C19 start.
There's a bar next to it, but seem to be have closed down the moment.
Breakfast:
I don't expect any breakfast available, but at 845am, hotel staff sent me breakfast for 2 pax. After giving a try would says not bad... Tasty.
Overall:
Some hit and miss, but keep up the high spirit, don't let your service down definitely will get thought it.

We arrived at 12pm,cuz hotel was fully booked we got our room just about 3pm.
There's a resto by the infinity pool but I am not sure if they are serving alcoholic drinks.

There is no direct bus to the hotel. You can take the KLIA Express to KL SEntral, then take LRT to Dang Wangi, then walk another 5-8mins to the hotel. I would suggest taking a taxi/grab instead. It will be the most convenient and effective way. Taxi/Grab would cost around RM80.
