Was at this hotel for 1 night stay on a saturday night and my review as follows: 1) Location: Just beside Stripes Hotel KL and at the back of Sheraton Imperial Hotel. It is about 15 minutes walk to nearest LRT (Dang Wangi Station) or Monorail (Medan Tuanku). As mentioned by other reviewers, it is about 2km/3km to KLCC, Pavillion etc. 2) Parking: This hotel has an automatic parking system situated behind the building. The driveway to the back of the hotel is messy, tight and dark i would say (i arrive at about 11am). There is a security guard there who will help on the automatic parking system. It wasnt hard to use but it is a bit confusing for first timer as the security guard could speak very well. Basically once u drive your car into the automatic lift, you will have to get…
We were part of the 170 people who traveled from all over to attend the wedding of our very special friend in Kuala Lumpur .Most of us checked-in 3-4 days prior as it was our first time in Malaysia. The wedding was held at the beautiful Red themed ballroom with great skyline view The wedding rituals and the reception after, was magnificent. The banquet team and waiters were very attentive and kind.Food and drinks were constantly replenished. Our host the bridal couple went through great lengths to ensure everybody was well looked after. As we arrived at the hotel we were welcomed well .Nice rooms with a touch of class and modern contemporary design, large rooms nice bed and had all the necessary fitting Most importantly had an Espresso machine . What surprised me was ,…
Recently had my wedding reception at red by sirocco grand sky ballroom, got an amazing view of kl, great food and fantastic help from the whole team! special thanks to Jonathan(sales), hakkim(banquet), Aswan(f&b), syafiq(AV). Our guests had a good time and enjoyed their stay at the spacious and clean rooms. Recommended, do consider this venue for your future events..
Never having been to KL I picked this hotel wholly based on the fact that it had a rooftop pool and I love a good rooftop pool. However, I only went on it once in the entire four night stay! The pool area is OK, nothing special, but it has a great view of the skyline including petronas towers (Which are awesome at night). If you’re lucky enough and on a high floor on the right side of the hotel you can also see them from your room (we weren’t!) Reception was easy (but tricky to find, it’s on 13th floor). The hotel is situated in an area that looks a bit ‘iffy’ but isn’t that bad to honest. I wouldn’t stay here if I was travelling alone but I was with a male companion and felt safe at night. The room was huge and clean and the bed was super comfortable. The staff are…
This is the third time we stay in this hotel. Previously my wife wrote a review on this hotel with great review. However, after 10 months, a lot of things has changed. First, this hotel car park is at the back of hotel for RM10 per day for in house guest. We are fine with the rate. Problem is when we asked the staff where is it( we forgot the direction ), he just pointed to back and ask us go ourself. Last time they actually helped us to park our car. They should at least show direction properly. Second, toothbrush and toothpaste will be provided on red. Previously was included. We do not mind but at least need to be stated. We can bring our own. Third, the Chinese tea set still available but no Chinese tea provided. When we requested they said need to request personally…
