Hotel Red is conveniently located in the center of KL with easy access everywhere in the city (metro is 5-6 min away. )Rooms are spacious and well appointed. Good bed linen and pillows. Coffee/tea making facilities in the room, as well as complimentary water. WIFI signal is steady. There is a convenience store and bakery on-site. But there are some buts... I didn't feel welcomed in the hotel at all. Not that staff was rude, but they are absolutely uninterested in making you feel welcomed. Rooms, though big, aren't cozy, the design is kind of "cold". Upon check-in, hotel charges you 100-200 myr deposit (I've no idea what for). And only during the check-out they tell you that you'll get your money back only after 2-3 weeks. (I have paid it by card). My room was clean upon…
This hotel is well located in the city. Reception is on the 11th floor. We had a great room on the 18th floor which was very spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was on the top floor. It was an excellent buffet with great views over the city.
-From the moment we arrived till we left always felt welcomed and extremely helpful by reception staff.Great location as well - Need improve your Bakery staff, need more training for skill and attitude, they seem to be rude.
The room was large and had some nice features-USB ports, nice tea and coffee station. It is nearby a monorail station and there are some good restaurants walkable but the area/KL in general is not the easiest to navigate(lack of crosswalks, sidewalks cracked and lots of motorbikes everywhere). There are only 2 elevators so it can take forever for the lift to come. My biggest complaint is that although the hotel says it has a beer garden, roof bar, restaurant none of it was ever open during our 4 day stay. Even the coffee shop and convenience store would randomly be closed or you would stand there waiting and no one would ever come to wait on you (I stood in the coffee shop for over 5 minutes one day and no one ever came to help me). Because the hotel is tucked away our grab…
A very well located hotel, only 5 min walk to local metro which connects to any tourist attraction. Surrounded by small restaurants which seem to be part of a "trendy" new district. We tried tapestry for breakfast (highly recommend), the pizza place (pricey but good) and Joloko (again fab food even if a little pricey). Back to the hotel... Spacious room, comfy bed and a great view. The room is very well equipped with nice toiletries, a safe and hair dryer. The roof top pool view is magnificant. Note; the bar was closed while we were there which was a shame. We have given it 5* because at less than 35€ a night the price quality ratio was amazing. However its worth noting that the reception is on floor 11 which is a bit annoying as it makes taking one of the two elevators…
