This used to be my favourite hotel before the pandemic. my last visit was in 2019, as a matter of fact I convinced my company to hold a large international event there and we occupied most of the hotel rooms. When I visited last week I expected the hotel to be the same, instead.....It was the total opposite. The check in experience was awful. The agent front desk didn't know anything about my bonvoy membership level and didn't even understand why I am discussing an upgrade. She was basically clueless and not even able to offer any answers. I asked for the manager, and to my surprise! he was the same. No idea how can this be the case. I actually live in the W residence Singapore and I'm shocked that this is the level of service I get in W KL. Anyway now to the room, The bed mattress is awful, clearly needs change. The sink is old and rusty and full of stains, the cushions are dirty. The carpet is full of staines. What happened to this hotel???? It was only one night so I just decided to go through it. The checkout process in the morning was disgraceful. Each desk had a guest and I was next in line. I waited 17 minutes !!! yes i timed it...17 min and at the end had to instruct them to find me a manager because i have to go to the airport. To summarise. NEVER AGAIN W KL.…

This hotel was one of the best hotel experiences i've had in a long time! The location is in the middle of the city with an amazing view of the Petrona Towers (view from the pool is absolutley BEAUTIFUL) I spent my time enjoying live music at the WOOBAR and ate delicious food at the Flock and Yen. 10 out of 10 highly recommend this hotel!

Our room was spacious and spotless. We really enjoyed the facilities especially the pool which has expansive views of the city including the twin towers. Its well located and the bars and restaurants on site are all excellent. The breakfast buffet is next level with so many options. A great place to stay in the heart of KL.

I was encountering some issues with the room, was pleasantly met a lady by the name of Elise. Didn't know that she was the Executive Housekeeper until much much later, when I asked someone else. But I would like to highly commend her for helping me, she showed exactly why Marriott hotels are above the rest. She was patient, fast and addressed everything that I needed very quickly. But I wanted to give a shout out for her immaculate service above self attitude. I was here when W KL just opened many years back, never remembered such good service. My stay At The W Hotel was amazing, check in was fast and with a smile 😊 forgot the chaps name but he was really welcoming so a good start , Room was clean and the view of the petronas towers was amazing, location of the hotel is perfect as close to main city centre attractions, the wet deck is a must the views from there day and night are awesome, service a little slow by bar staff needs improving , otherwise they staff are very polite, the lobby of the hotel is beautiful especially with all the funky lighting can see in my pics I will attach , overall a top hotel will definitely be back as in KL often ,would recommend this hotel

It was a pleasure stay until one afternoon while i was taking a bath, one of the male housekeeping come into my room without knocking or bell and come into the bathroom and catch me in the bathtub.. the room already been clean in the morning, what is his intention to come into the room at 5 pm in the afternoon.. I absolutely loved my stay at W Hotel! The location is an obvious reason to choose this hotel, but I loved this hotel beyond its location for two reasons — the beautiful room and the incredibly friendly and helpful staff (shout out to Naqib at Wet Deck). I highly, highly recommend this place!

I really loved the service here. However, the reason why I gave this review 4 out of 5 is purely because I think for a hotel of its calibre, the swimming pool and gym is not good enough. The gym was very small and had limited equipment, the same goes for the pool. The bar at the deck is great but I think there should be a separate pool for people who like to swim. Either that or the price to stay at this hotel shouldn’t be this much. The food and service however is top notch!

Actually I put a premium on breakfast experience in staying at hotel because good breakfast makes my travel happy and has huge portion of travel for satisfaction.
