Terrific front office staff. Worth mentioning 'Raj', very friendly and hospitable. His interventions when and where they mattered, really helped.

The location is another plus making it easy to access the Airport Express or the Monorail. The Monorail and the KL Sentral Monorail station can be seen from the hotel room window.

Nice place for the money you spend.

I always travel alone to KL and for me it worth the price. I pay less than MYR100 for one night. The staffs also friendly. It is located near to the KL sentral. Plus, there are so many restaurants located in this area.

Location: Central and close to main transport options (monorail and to Sentral Station), which means easy access for transportation to the airport.

Food: Good options for breakfast (including for vegetarians)., Great eating around the area, as well - cheap and clean.

Room standard was adequate and satisfactory for my purposes - clean, safe and quiet. Room service to clean and maintain room was fine. Room is not particularly large though.

Staff were helpful. There is a left luggage option.

As the hotel can get busy, it is sometimes difficult to get a late checkout (hence left luggage option is good).

I would stay at the hotel again.

Very poor service starting from Front Desk, Maintenance & Management.. Upon check-in, the room allocated key tag not working and thereafter changed to another room on 8th floor, which is full of cockrages. Looks like out of order room . Went down to reception again at 11.30pm request another room change and allocated room on level 2. The card machine was not working at that point of time and need to wait again for payment. This has created total bad experience and very bad impressions on Hotel Sentral. Requested to see the Hotel GM / HM not even a response until check out. It seems this hotel needs to relook at current operations and manning starting from top to below.

This hotel is just walking distance to the KL Sentral station which is perfect is you will be going around Kuala Lumpur. NU Sentral Mall is in the same location which is very convenient. Across the hotel are some restaurants serving good food and coffee that are just right in the budget.

The hotel amenities are basic but really good value for the money especially for budget-conscious traveler like me. We also availed the free breakfast which they serve at the 5th floor. The hotel staff are not very friendly, except for the young man who cleaned our room every day [we stayed at the 12th floor]. He was the only one who was courteous and smiling.

There's a water refilling machine near the elevator, and also an iron. Our room was clean, no complaints at all.

I can say that this hotel provides good value for the money.

Made booking for my 3D2N stay but it was totally unpleasant. The bathroom was not clean, defect here and there. No light at the shower area, no hot shower, saw cockroaches in the bathroom and worst, me and husband bought Mcd before check in, left it for a while on the table and went down to go to nearest 7e. When we back in the room to eat, the cockroaches had already there inside our food. Called the reception so many times to report about the defects and cleanliness, they only said the maintenance and housekeeping staff will come in to check. But nobody attend us! No mineral water provided. When I asked them to send it to my room, they told me that they never provide such things for superior room. I asked to upgrade or change to another available room, they said all fully booked. But when I search in their online booking, there were plenty rooms available to book. What?? And also got three indian person (thought they are a family) knocking our door so damn loud and shouting against us. They were looking for their daughter. When we said that we don't know and they might got wrong room number, they still knocking the door endlessly. Lucky someone called their phone and then they went away. Question now, how can outsider come up the room without key, and nobody aware of this? What was the staff doing? Not checking it thoroughly? Felt really unsafe. Dissapointed, terrible experience. Overall, not gonna come again.

I stayed at this hotel after it was being recommended by my best friend. The hotel staffs are very friendly and helpful. They gave me the best room which is facing the NU Sentral Mall. The view was spectacular especially at night. Not to mentioned that the hotel is walking distant to KL Sentral which connects to other major public transports and it makes even more super convenient to walk around KL city. This is most probably the best hotel in KL. Highly recommended...Thank you, Hotel Sentral Kuala Lumpur for making my stay so enjoyable....Hope to see you, very soon ❤️❤️❤️

For it's price, this hotel sure surpasses any notions we would have had about it before going. Nothing fancy, but basics at its best. Very clean with very helpful staff. Excellent location smack in the middle of KL city, within short walking distance to KL Sentral (KL's main transportation hub) and NuSentral mall where one can satiate one's shopping desires, watch movies, good eateries etc. It's also located near KL's Little India (Brickfields) where you can find good Indian food eateries and Indian costumes, jewellery etc. Would definitely recommend for those on a budget, as its well worth every cent.

Cockroaches in the rooms, slightly huge one hidden in the towel.
Unhygienic,
Poor room condition,
Room has an odour,
Carpets are worn out,
Hotel is in desperate need of refurbishment.

Our 1st time transit stay to Penang via rail left a traumatised experience.

Images are enhanced and deceptive to what physically is.

How much is the security deposit?

Malaga, Spain471 contributions169 helpful votes
In February 2017, I think, the deposit for an express room was 50 MYR. I remember the receptionist returning a single 50 ringgit note on checkout. Deluxe rooms might be more, but I would guess no more than 100 MYR.

How far is it from KL Sentral Bus Station from where the Airport buses depart
Answer from HariJayanthi
Chennai (Madras), India289 contributions68 helpful votes
I am not sure about bus station. But from the Sentral train station it is just about maximum 5 minutes walking distance. Once you take the KLIA Ekspress from the airport & get down at Sentral station, walk to Nu Sentral Mall, then cross the road with overbridge from Nu Sentral mall and you are almost at the entrance to Hotel Sentral.
