Our experience at Pavilion Hotel KL was excellent to say the least… From the pre-event planning, to the wedding weekend hospitality, and the actual event itself, the staff were more than attentive and the vibe was at a level of luxury that exceeded our expectations. The food served was hot and delicious, just like the food tasting and received many compliments from guests! The rooms were filled with treats and bridal suite with decorations that made us feel extra special. The bride and groom even got a little gift from the hotel upon checkout! All of this would not have been possible without the excellent service from the fabulous team at Pavilion Hotel KL! Christina was an absolute gem! Efficient, accommodating and always on the ball. The whole process from booking to planning and execution was done meticulously by Christina and her team, and it made us feel very safe, secure and confident. Ukasyah, Nazrin and Azizi were also very hands on and attended to us 24/7 during the week leading up to our event, the night before, the morning of. They looked at every detail for us to ensure an event that exceeded our standards. Not forgetting Chef Akhbar and Chef Khori who ensured the food tasted even better than the food tasting session! We had stayed at the Pavilion Hotel a few times before and kept coming back because we love the convenient location. Unfortunately, it will be a while before we come back the next time. The last time we stayed, the hotel poorly managed our check-in experience. Also, the bidet was not functioning in the room that we first checked into. While we were offered another room, we found the whole process of changing room a distressing one - something that we did not anticipate after a long day. Needless to say, the hotel managed to spoil our plan for a good night - who wants to spend time waiting for their rooms to be sorted out when they could do something fun like have a good dinner and movie? Otherwise, breakfast and in-room dining were good.

Just stayed here for 5 nights. Hotel room was nice. Big, comfortable bed and nice hot, powerful shower. Walls had a few marks on them though which I wouldn’t expect from a 5 star hotel. Dusty walls too which didn’t help as they were dark which showed up the dust more. Worst part was breakfast. Not good I’m afraid. All the hot food was lukewarm at best some was even cold. The hot plates/bowls they use clearly are not hot enough or don’t get replenished enough. Even the coffee which came out of a machine was only ever lukewarm at best. We resorted to only eating from the cold food selection or only having hot food that was made to order such as omelette or pancakes that way we knew the food would be hot. Certainly not up to 5 star standards and the poor quality at breakfast put us off eating in the restaurant for any other meals. I wouldn’t stay here again if I went back to KL. Swimming pool on 18th floor was nice although the steps to get into the pool were loose and an accident waiting to happen. We should have gone to Mandarin Oriental I think. Chose Pavilion due to its Bukit Bintang location but the endless malls got a bit same same as well.…

Located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur and it’s linked to the mall. Stayed on the club floor which is on the same floor as the club lounge makes it so convenient and accessible. Service was superb. One could choose to have breakfast at lobby level - the Courtyard. There were more variety for breakfast though. Meeting room was adequate and spacious. Would recommend to stay in this hotel for next visit.

I haven’t been back in KL for years so it was lovely to come for a short weekend. A trip made even more enjoyable by everyone we met at the Pavilion Hotel, especially the staff at the Club Lounge. My first time at Pavilion Hotel and it surpassed my expectation. Previously stayed at JW Marriot in Nov 2022 and the Pavilion Hotel experience was so remarkably different. Upon arrival at the reception, we were ushered by staff to the Club Lounge for check-in. At JW Marriot, we were told to join the queue and never did they offer to let us check in at the Lounge. So that was the first bad experience. Then, the ambience and service at Pavilion Club Lounge was so welcoming and the service from Sabree was excellent. The food offerings are exciting (cheese, wine, food). The hotel is also very conveniently located, with direct access to Pavilion Mall. Overall, Pavillion Hotelmis highly recommended!

This hotel purports to provide a five-star luxurious experience but falls rather short both in terms of the hard product and service. We were not greeted at the entrance - already unusual for a five-star hotel, which made checking in quite confusing without paying attention to the signs. We booked the urban studio king room, which came with club access. This meant that you'll have to queue at the main lobby, before you're brought up to the club lounge to finish formalities. There is no option to head up to the club lounge directly without card access. Service at the check-in was abysmal, with only two counters open at the time we arrived. Club lounge service was no better, as staff chatted in clear view of waiting patrons. The room itself was nice but unfortunately faced two construction sites, which meant that use of the large tub not as relaxing, even with the window shades (which were broken) down. The gym was nice and clean but the pool is deceptively small. Breakfast was definitely not a five-star experience as the restaurant was not equipped to serve a large number of patrons which meant that we were relegated to the courtyard where we sat on banquet chairs / tables. We did like that there was direct access to the Pavilion Mall though! All in, a rather middling experience, which was not commensurate with the price. We will stick to other tried and true options in Kuala Lumpur. …
