My husband and I stayed at the Pavilion Hotel for 4 nights on the back end of a three week holiday before returning to Australia.

The location is excellent, having direct access to the Pavilion shopping centre, which is a large, five storey shopping complex with restaurants, movies, food court with local cuisine and a range of shops from discount to high end.
Staff at the hotel were polite and went out of their way to help us however they could. Upon check in we were asked if our stay was for a special occasion. I advised that it was our anniversary in a few days. On our last night we entered our room and the bed was decorated with rose petals, with a complimentary happy anniversary cake. It was a lovely touch, completely unexpected and appreciated.
Breakfast catered to both western and Asian tastes with a vast array of foods, truly of five star quality from smoked salmon, smoked goose, egg station, salads, Asian and Indian dishes, etc.
the roof top pool provided a quiet place to sit and unwind. We had this area to ourselves each time we visited.
After travelling in Europe for a few weeks it was lovely to stay in a nice, affordable five star hotel. As we are Accor members we received complimentary drinks that we took at Whiskey Cove, a nicely appointed bar on Level 7.
I highly recommend this hotel if you are ever in KL.

Pavillion Hotel, KL

The evening cocktail has been moved to Courtyard due to pandemic. For elite members, the evening cocktail is served from 5.30pm to 7.30pm with food in tiffins. Overall the finger food was freshly prepared, it is warm and they are all served in tiffins. Although each table is offered a set but they offered us more upon request. We have also requested for satays which was not in the normal serving and we got it too. Overall, we are satisfied with the food served and the services however the alcohol list is a bit boring, only beer (Asahi, 1664, etc) and limited wines are available.

As for the room, we are upgraded to Grand Oasis corner room, and it’s quite a large room with full window panel overseeing Jalan Bukit Bintang and Menara118.

Conclusion : The personalised service offer by Banyan Tree managed hotels is always impressive and unforgettable. — at Pavilion Hotel Kuala Lumpur Managed by Banyan Tree

Special thanks to Emily See for her kind arrangement and also some of the staffs to be complimented for their good services, they are: Faissal, Esca, Maideen etc.

I had a very enjoyable staycation at Pavilion Hotel KL. There is a dedicated area for parking, sharing same entrance as the mall's carpark, so no issues with parking. Due to covid-19 restrictions, only one dedicated lift to the lobby, do a quick temperature scan and changing lifts to the reception.

I was allowed early check in at 1pm, so grateful as we can settle down in the room with the kids before heading out for lunch. Check in was quick and straightforward. Your keycard is needed to head to your floor so good additional security there.

I had a corner room, so it was much larger and will fit a baby cot well (was also provided by the hotel as I requested online). The room is very well lit, good amenities, and clean. Like they have capsule coffee instead of the normal instant coffee. A free pack of face mask is also provided. Good to have extra during these times.

In general, this hotel is very good, due to the fact that it is connected to the best mall in KL, Pavilion Mall, which has everything under one roof. It is also quite well located, with a dedicated walkway from Pavilion mall to KLCC. The surrounding areas have lots of amenities. There are free GoKL bus services nearby and also the tourist hop on hop off bus stop nearby as well. All staffs, including the housekeeping is very courteous and never fail to greet you any time they see you.

I have been visiting Kuala Lumpur few times recently and my latest trip brought me to Pavilion Hotel. In fact I thought to stay at Marriott again but Pavilion offered better rate with breakfast inclusive.

Pavilion hotel has excellent location, in the heart of shopping district and actually I don’t need to walk outside at all to enjoy shopping because the mall is just below the hotel.

I got a Grand Oasis room, it was spacious. Room cleanliness, staff service, atmosphere are of excellent level. Breakfast was very good with many local choices to try.

Hotel reception is on 8th floor, elevator from mall and G floor lobby will only come up to 8th floor and guests got to change elevator to the rooms on higher floor.

Pavillion Hotel is one of the best hotel in town, thanks to Ms Chloe and the rest of the front counter team for the excellent service and attentive on replying my emails and during the checkin process.

The parking entrance is on the left of the building and you need to pass by the second barrier gate for the hotel parking and the reception is on the 8th floor. Pavillion Mall can be access at the 1M level

The Club room was clean and comfort with a view of Pullman and Banyan Tree and a big screen tv with selection of in house and astro channels. The only problem is our basin tab but it was successful settle by the maintenance team.

the buffet breakfast was great with a variety of foods, Malaysian hi-tea set also great and it comes with a set of fried mee, currypuff, kuih and teh tarik with a special malaysian ice cream.

Our dinner at The Courtyard was fantastic and my wife love the juicy, fresh beef sate, all the seafood was fresh and delicious, thanks to the chef, staffs and especially to Mr Nazrin and Mr Maidin for very friendly, attentive and excellent service, they give their extra effort for my pregnant wife with a comfortable seat and care. they are the valuable assets of Pavillion Hotel. The welcome drinks selection also good

Overall was excellent and will come again

The Good 1. Lounge experience was good. Service was pleasant and prompt. Many thanks for helping to find an extra bed for my son on my last night. 2. Location is good and connect to Pavilion mall. Seamless experience. 3. Breakfast spread at the lounge is limited however food varieties would be better at the main restaurant. The Bad 1. Housekeeping took/steal my disinfecting spray and a hotel room Keycard after making up room. Reported it to Manager and he waived off the extra bed fees. My family is extremely disturbed by this experience and immediately checked thoroughly on our belongings and making sure nothing is missing. Did not expect this from a 5 star hotel. Please beware! 2. Aircon temperature was freezing despite turning up the temperature to 30 degrees. Luckily solved after 2 attempts from the technician. 3. Room carpet had stained on it. Bottomline, stay was ok. Location is good especially for shoppers. Hope that more stringent check and training be done on housekeeping staffs.

Overall, the stay was decent. We were offered for a room upgrade for a price upon check-in. The room was great however the room cleanliness was not satisfactory as we found used tissue below the lazy chair and some food crumbs on the carpet. Housekeeping were called to clean up and the response was prompt. Bed was alright and room was quiet. The location is in the heart of the city.

Book a studio room with lounge benefits, however it was facing the contructions side, a bit noisy during day time.
I like the bathtub with the view, however the view is just normal.
I always collect hotel's slipper during every stay, however it is charged at 75 ringgit here if you wish to take home the used slipper. I am not sure if the hotel will recycle my used slipper, since i didnt buy it.
The lounge is close during pandemic, however, i can still enjoy the coffee at normal dining outlet. I don really like the high carb food during cocktail hours, then i requested some cheese to pair with my red wine, service is good.
I request to extend late check out for one hour due to heavy rain, however it was rejected.
This hotel is managed by Banyan Tree, not really a Banyan Tree hotel with excellent service.
I do not recommend this hotel if you look for memorable staycation, maybe it is perfect for tourist as the hotel is link to pavilion mall.

I stayed in Club Oasis Room for 3 nights.

If you love to shop, eat good food and being treated good all the time, Pavilion Hotel is the place you should stay.
Firstly, it’s location, what else can I say, it’s linked to Pavilion Shopping Centre, for me, the best shopping centre in Kuala Lumpur (KL). Everything is so close, walking distance to most of the attractions in KL. There is even a covered walkway that will link to KLCC ( 10-15 mins walk).
Next, the service standard in this hotel. It’s Fantastic, you are always greeted by its staff.
The rooms are, of course, wonderful too. I had 3 wonderful nights, sleeping on its bed. No complains.
For breakfast, the spread is very good, if you manage to get in the main breakfast buffet and for your info, they have satay for breakfast and the satay is very good.
But if you come in a little late, you will be guided to another restaurant, on the same floor, to ease the hotel’s inability to cope with big breakfast crowd. The selection of food in this restaurant may not be as good as the main breakfast hall. But you can still bring food from the main hall to this restaurant.
Anyway, I would still come back here again.

Ps: The infinity swimming pool looks wonderful, although I did it not manage to jump in the pool. I’ll try it next time, definitely.

Stayed a night for my wife's birthday. She wanted to shop at Pavilion Mall. From the reception to the room and then the breakfast... the staff were really there to please. We were given an hour extra than expected for check out time which was really helpful. Our room was beautifully decorated for the occasion with a mini but delicious cake to boot. There were also 6 bottles of water provided complimentary which was very thoughtful. Breakfast was abundantly tasty. Everyone was so helpful. The only set back was an unpleasant experience with the valet when we arrived and it could have escalated to become a major frustration... but then we were told that it was his first day on the job so we just cut him some slack. No hard done at the end of the day... and the reception had also apologised on his behalf. All good!
