I've stayed in 3 bed room suite for 4 November 2021 until 7 November 2021. Love the room which are spacious, Clean and complete with great amenities and facilities. Swimming pool and children pool is very clean and big. All staff very nice, professional and polite. I would like to give high appreciation for Ms Faiza and Mr Foo who are very helpful from booking arrangement until check in process. The Nomad Serviced Residence would be my preferable accommodation if visiting KL. Farhan.
Was here for about six weeks in a one bedroom apartment located a comfortable walking distance from shopping center . My place had a Great view of the city I found the staff professional and helpful. The rooms were well maintained and kept clean by a great cleaning team . The size is adequate for maximum a small family since the kitchen was adequate for the very basic such as heating food [ no blender etc] Work area is small and basic cutlery. However, staff provided me with few addition utensils etc Swimming pool , gym etc closed because of the COVID situation One can opt for self laundry but have to go to basement, walk thru car park and old furniture to finally get to the machines.
This is my 2nd stay here. Although there was no fault with the room and facilities (kitchen etc) of this establishment, both me and my wife had the most unpleasant experience with one of the staff. She, the ops manager (name is kristian or so) will need an immediate crash course in communication, especially when dealing with guests. Her attitude is appalling. She is so rude and harsh. This kind of attitude drives away existing and potential custom. The only consolation is the professionalism and courteousness of two other staff, Tan Belay and Faiza. Kudos to both of them.
I've stayed in October and December 2019. Love the place Great location well equipped, quiet place, more like home. Spacious. Clean. Great amenities, washing machine/ dryer, etc...they even have a laundry room at the ground floor with huge washing machine and dryer ( just like the ones at the laundry bar and it's FOC) Great pool. Definitely will come again.
due to a website issue at hotels.com i had unknowingly made a double booking at Nomad via hotels.com (the website went blank and at the same time no notification was received from my credit card issuer that my card was charged). as no notification was received, i had made another booking at this property via another website and the payment went thru successfully. to my surprise it was only during check-in i was informed by the receptionist that i had 3 different rooms booked under my name. only then i had realised that the first 2 unsuccessful bookings did go thru. contacted hotels.com immediately and they advised that after talking to the property, they refused to refund what i paid for the 2 additional (redundant) rooms as it was a non-refundable room category. i would have accepted this reason if i had not proceeded with the 3rd booking on the other website and did not have a genuine need to stay at this property. this excuse can't be used in this situation as this was a genuine system error issue and i did eventually book and stay at the property as planned. i demand that the refund for payment made for the 2 redundant rooms are made immediately or i would have no choice but to escalate this to the relevant consumer authorities for a refund.…
It was a very pleasant surprise for me staying at this establishment. The professionalism, attention to detail and courteous staff make this a hidden gem of a place for those who seek a homely, peaceful and wonderful experience. Right from check-in to check-out the unrivalled standards upheld by staff at this serviced apartment is a delight to experience. the proximity to various shopping and food outlets in the Bangsar area is a major plus. Another plus faction is the beautiful swimming pool of this establishment. The apartment is spacious, extremely clean and pleasantly appointed with all the necessary amenities of a home away from home. Special mention should be given to Shahrul and Danial of reception, Ms Tan and Amir of housekeeping for the courteous service and attention to detail accorded . Most importantly, the professionalism, passion for ensuring guests comfort and dedication above what is expected displayed by Ms Faiza Rosly is unparalleled. I highly recommend potential guest to get in touch with her and discuss any requirements for future stay at this establishment. Her passion and eagerness to to ensure the best experience is exemplary and very seldom seen at the best of any 5 star establishments. Truly a satisfying experience. Will definitely back!…
Stayed here in January with my family over the weekend and I must say, I've never felt more at home than any other hotel or serviced residences in KL. All of the staffs were warm and welcoming. Though they didn't have an F&B outlet, they had an almost fully equipped kitchenette. We got our groceries from TMC which is just a stone throw away from The Nomad and cooked ourselves a hearty meal. They also accept food deliveries like Grab and Food Panda. The unit we stayed in was very clean and housekeeping was only alternate days. I will surely get my wife to book again for the next school holidays.
The location is convenient for our stay. It is relatively quiet with occasional loud traffic noises from the streets below. We stayed in a one bedroom apartment and it is clean with housekeeping services 3 times a week. The staff is great, courteous and helpful. We used the kitchen quite often, especially for our breakfast meal. It would help if the kitchen is equipped with extra pots and pans and cutlery. It would be very convenient if extra towels are provided, like hand or bath towels in the bathroom, and kitchen towels in the kitchen. Overall, we did enjoy our stay and will definitely stay here again if we visit Kuala Lumpur again in the future.
Size of apartment ok. Toilets have fouling smell. Sinks need proper maintenance especially a small thing such as size of hole of the rubbish trap in kitchen sink is big that even peanut can go thru! No housekeeping on SUNDAY. A very pleasant front desk lady who first attended to my booking was EXCELLENT in customer service. However, Slow service to get fresh towels and more toiletries on Sunday. Maintenance worker grumbling about guests when asked to check why sink is stuck when we just checked in C-1-3. TV cable was not working upon arrival. Later maintenance said, yes, cable spoiled. Had a bad encounter with one front desk Malay lady who was working night shift when I got locked out of room at 1230am, Saturday 22.2 after BBQ and was asked for money to open the door(?). Wish to speak to the Residence Manager soon.…
Bangsar is known for its fast pace scenes with Bars/ Malls and Restaurants but the Nomad is no where near that. Excellent location near to the hear of Bangsar set in a tranquil and green environment. Clean rooms+ huge rooms, friendly staff, great pool and gym facilities a huge plus but sadly no F&B onsite. But who needs F&B when you have the whole of Bangsar 10 mins away on foot.
