Hotel is fine but underwhelming. Breakfasts aren't worth it. Very good Central location lots of great places to eat and drink in spitting distance. Staff are friendly but not very effective. Boutique is a misleading term more reminiscent of a B&B.

Had stayed here previously with my wife as it was close to Jalan Alor I enjoyed the style of a smaller hotel my experience this trip was not as enjoyable the room I stayed in was much smaller and quite noisy. I was often harassed on the street close by the hotel of an evening by people asking me if...

Dear Scott, TQ for your feedback. We will refer this to the police authority on your feedback and hopefully they can eliminate this harassment to tourists. As you may know, this is not a good image for our country or any country to have such this type of people. As for the noise, please do advise us that you wish...

Came here as our first stop from the states, and it was a fantastic place to recover from jet lag. Right next to tons of good food, comfortable beds, friendly staff, and great massages. Can't recommend it enough, would love to stay here again if/when i come back to KL!

Stayed here for 3 nights. Check in was fast and greeted with a nice drink. Room was really nice unfortunately a couple of minor things let it down such as broken toilet seat, no plug socket in the sink and a sock left on the corner of the room. This is a shame because apart from the the room was...

Stayed here for 2 nights in March. Hotel is in a great location, close to good food street and about 15 minutes walk from Chinatown and other attractions. Really nice boutique style with friendly service, our room was on the front and was a decent size with a small balcony, only downside was it was quite noisy due to proximity...

Really enjoyed this well-situated 'boutique' hotel. Our room was on the ground floor and internal facing which meant no windows and inappropriate wardrobe choices as a consequence, but it was quiet and very comfy. Although it is right next to Jalon Alor and near a "strip", we slept like logs and weren't disturbed at all. Staff helpful and charming giving...

Spend 2 nights at Anggun. Cosy and very relaxing boutique hotel in the center of the city. Friendly staff, good size rooms. Breakfast is average -. They offer a spa and treatments are good. Next to the hotel you will find the best Indian restaurant, Tg's Nasi Kandar! Will return.

Was eating at the restaurant next (which serves good cheap food) and stumbled upon some youngsters with instruments. Went in there for a beer and before I knew, I wad celebrating Chinese New Year with the staff. Kind and friendly people running the place with an outstanding massage.

Room: book a suite room... The room was large and spacious. Perfect for a couple room. Furniture a little traditional based from the hotel design.. mind that, during my arrival, the room windows was widely open. This cause mosquitoes flying around my room. Asked the staff to settle it and they brought me electrical mosquitoes killer. Minibar: 1 larger bootle...

An oasis of style and calm, this is one of KL's most characterful traditional boutique hotel located in Bukit Bintang, within 10 minutes walk to train station, 1 minute walk to shopping malls, 1 minute walk to Jalan Alor hawker food street and restaurants, 15 minutes walk to Petronas Twin Towers, KL Convention Centre, Chinatown and 10 minutes drive to KL Golf & Country Club. Rates include free WIFI in room and whole hotel. Featured in CNNGo as one of the best 4-star boutique hotels in KL! Converted from two 1920's shophouses, most of the rooms look out onto a peaceful inner courtyard. The decor is incredibly tasteful, without sacrificing comfort levels for the sake of style. All the guest rooms have beautiful, handcrafted queen size teak beds, wooden furniture and wooden flooring. And the decor is traditional Malaccan with a contemporary twist. It has a lovely atmosphere. Why: Location, location, location. Authentic and delicious Malaysian food is minutes away; the city's best night life, within staggering distance. The shopaholic within will be duly fulfilled by city's highest concentration of malls. The Anggun's unique look and feel is a definite departure from big-chain homogeneity, perfect for the urbanite leisure or business traveler looking for an authentic and modern way to spend their time in Kuala Lumpur. ... more   less
