I made a booking, got a confirmation mail from the property, my credit card was charged, but found out at the property that they don't have the reservation, because their mail isn't active. After waiting 2-3 hours at the desk I was lied by the receptionist that I will pay the walk-in rate and will be reimbursed later. The receptionist falsely stated my payment as deposit, and for two days wasn't able to issue me appropriate receipt. Their manager was aware of the problem, but didn't seem too bothered.
I come with my family, I have issue with the check in. The next after the staff is female chinese came and knock my room and yell at out family, we said sorry but after we are all left she look us with unpleaseant to see. Such a rude staff!!! Wont come again
We were here for 3 nights. The taxi driver had a bit of a problem finding it as the street it is on is closed at night and full of street food places and restaurants. We only paid £8 a night so were not expecting much. Reception staff were friendly and helpful, yes we had to pay a MR 100 deposit in cash but it was returned at check out without any problem. The room was very small, no storage and the ensuite was small too. There was no hot water and, as it was a wet room, when you had a shower everything was soaked. The aircon didn't work very well. The room was clean enough. It is in an ideal location, central for most things. For what we spent it served its purpose.

DISGUSTING RECEPTION STAFF, one of the most UN- FRIENDLY HOTELS I have ever been. Morning receptionists, specially a lady and the young Guy, are very RUDE and UNHELPFUL. Although they have lots of early check outs they dont let you do the check in before 2pm anyway. The lady was almost laughing about that in face of costumers saying "you are not going to do check in before 2pm and there is nothing I can do" Maybe they love to collect empty rooms until official check in time arrives. Common sense people! If you dont like to work in hospitality quit the job. They forget people pay for the rooms, is not a favour to the community What they are doing. They also charge you 100 ringgits for deposit and it not published anywhere, so you find the surprise when you arrive. And if you are living the country the next day and you dont have that amount in ringgits they just dont care and dont let you in, so prepare to pay for that in us dollars. In retaliation for our complaints the bad-tempered lady in the reception gave us the worst room of the hotel (laughing with her coworker again) . Room Number 105, the ugliness of the room is just and anecdote, small room, walls full of humidty, the room is actually in the basement, right in front of the elevator and next to the 24hs working laundry, also people with drillers were working during the afternoon so no rest at all. If you make a mistake and book this hotel ask for a room in upper levels, dont accept rooms in level 1 (basement) as you wont get any rest at all. Anyway the room condition is not really important as you get What you pay for, the important thing is that the reception staff is the most un-friendly and rude I have ever seen in my 9 months travelling Asia. Definetly not coming again and not recommended. Owners should do something with those receptions, specially the lady who believes is more important than costumers.…
