If you just need a clean, reasonably comfortable place to crash at the end of a long journey or long day of sightseeing, this guest house is all you need. Don't expect anything fancy: It is very basic, no-frills, and in need of some touch-up maintenance, but the price is right and the location is perfect. We were able to walk everywhere in Bukit Bintang and KLCC very easily. And even though it is in the middle of a bustling area, the property itself is very quiet.

Great location - plenty of small shops nearby, walking distance to Jalan Alor night food court and the Berjaya Times Square Mall. Easy to get to main sights by Grab taxi. The rooms are small and simple but perfectly fine. Our room didn't have an external window, just a window facing the internal corridor, so we had to keep curtains closed mostly, which is fine if staying only 1 or 2 nights. There is a communal fridge so you can store a few items. Breakfast is simple - cereal, toast and coffee. In theory this is only served between 7-11am (or something like that) but in reality, all the food is kept in the kitchenette area so you can help yourself anytime.. Just don't abuse it! Year after year, my father and I find ourselves coming back to this guesthouse because, simply put- it’s great. Staff and hospitable, friendly and always willing to help. The modern rooms have comfy beds, good wifi and air conditioning, which is really all you need. They also offer a kitchen equipped with cereals for breakfast and a place to socialise and eat. Sahabat Guesthouse is a perfect base for exploring- Jalan Alor & 7/11 is within a 2-3 minute walk, whilst also being off the main road, so you don’t get all the noises associated. I couldn’t recommend this place more highly- great bang for ya buck!

Cheap rates for the rooms, bed was comfy enough for me. Bathroom was a bit small and seems like it wasn't maintained well, but not dirty. There's a nice and big dining table inside for eating meals. Centrally located in Bukit Bintang, within walking distance of the MRT, Jalan Alor, Low Yat Plaza and Sungei Wang Plaza.

I stayed there for one night. The room was big enough, comfortable, clean and comes with a small balcony to enjoy the nearby city skyscrapers. Good location. Just a few minutes walk to Jalan Alor street where variety of foods are served. Highly recommended!
