Great service from the reception. The room was cleaned and tidy. Reasonable price for the room with king size bed. Sound proof? At least I didn't hear much noise from the other room. Great view, the room assigned to me was in a great position and had a great view, not blocked by any building. Unfortunately, personally think that the pillow was a little bit too soft and unable to have so much sleep at the night.

I can't say enough about how much I enjoyed my stay at Hotel Summer View. This was my first visit to KL. My room was clean and quiet. The staff was friendly and helpful. I could depend on them to help me get taxies or suggest places to visit. The hotel is located in a neighbourhood bustling with great inexpensive restaurants. Make sure you try the Nasi Lemek Royale stand around the corner and have a massage at the Blind Massage clinic. The hotel was also close to the major Sentral train station and the NuSentral mall. I would like to especially thank Laka, Ben and Alan on the front desk and Dipendra the security guard who always opened the door, chased after me with an umbrella during a rain storm and watched out for my taxies. I will certainly stay here again.

Excellent cheap hotel near KL Sentral (train station) that is clean and confortable for few nights. Only negative thing : the breakfast is not very good but can't really complain when you pay not that much.

Avoid this place. There are many hotels near KL Sentral which are better. From the outside the building almost looks impressive. Once we checked in we realized it was the worse than bad. We did not protest or ask for the room to be changed as I was quite unwell and we had a morning departure. The room, I don’t even remember the number - it was in the 800 series, was pretty bad. It had a whiff of dampness and was quite dated. The bathroom was in another league - broken bidet, dimly lit as one of the lights was not functioning and a shower without the shower head. The management must be congratulated for having the chutzpah to allocate such a room. Next morning the breakfast was another awesome experience. It is served in the tiny cafe supervised by a most disinterested and unwelcoming lady, who behaves as if you are an undesirable alien who is being served out of compulsion. Avoid at all costs.…

Well, this is not my 1st time though. Good for those who needs to catch up ERL to KLIA or stay connected to other station via monorail & LRT & MRT & etc. Anyhow, based on my review MY REVIEW WOULD BE : ROOM : I think they need to upgrade all the rooms, as more hotels now like a mushroom scattered around brickfields(compete). Room-abit old and the centralise AIRCONDIONING to strong for the mode of *slow*. Carpet- this one need to tidy up and really needs replacement and not recommended to those customers who has Cynose / asthmatic or sensitive to bad smell whereby the moral stories...*dusty* More on replacing old stuffs to Brand new and it may not be necessary but atlease more comfort. Otherwise hotel location is convenience and easy access to reach other areas via public transport@kl sentral. …

Whenever I am in kl I always stay at the sumerview hotel .clean comfortable rooms great airconditioner .wi fi perfect the location a short walk from kl Sentra .and the many restaurants close by .with Alvin and Allan looking after all your needs you are in good hands see you next time

Stayed for 1N in Jul'19. Its walking distance from KL sentral and NU shopping mall. Its location is very good wrt other major attractions in KL. Lots of Indian restaurants are nearby, so no issues for tasty food :D. We booked deluxe king room, it was big in size and very quiet. AC was chilling. Breakfast served was good. Highly recommended for budget to midrange travellers.

As everyone else has wriiten the hotel is in a great position close to the Nu Shopping Mall, KL Sentral easy to get taxis. The room was a good size the bed was comfortable, airconditioning worked well and easy to adjust. Kettle coffee tea small fridge. Bathroom was shower only with a small curtain but the floor didn't flood. Lifts worked well. Staff at reception and the door guy were very friendly. I don't each much at breakfast so toast and some fruit was fine however just strawberry jam each morning wasn't inviting. I enjoyed my stay there is a 7 11 nearby plus other stores. Indian street food nearby and there is a blind society close by so you will see a lot of blind people walking around the area. The afternoon we arrived there was a charity setting up free street food also near the hotel. Would happily stay here again.…

The good thing is, the hotel is recommended for those who want to look for budget hotel. It was a great stay for me. -nice view -strategic location(near KL Sentral) -clean room -cold aircond -heater is superb The only comment about this stay is the breakfast is not that nice. Maybe they could improve more. But its okay.

Excellent value hotel. The go to for business/solo travellers. The reception and other staff are very efficent. The breakfast is also nice, with fresh eggs, and you can ask for fresh milk for coffee. Overall very recommended since it is infront of the main train station in KL and you can even get a direct train to airport walking distance from hotel.
