Villa Samadhi, an Oasis in Kuala Lumpur, Part Two This is probably one of the most amazing destinations smack in the middle of KL, ok almost, just a 9 minute drive from KLCC! This property that is totally Eco driven in almost all its aspects and managed truly well and personally by its General Manager Andy Shaun, is really one of a kind! Andy exudes world class hospitality and makes you feel welcome as gibt was his home! Truly Boutique, and the reflections of the owners Federico & Maple’s drive towards sustainable living, this former home of a tycoon turned into a hospitality gem is a pure joy to reside in! Having come here for years now, I consider it a privilege to be able to enjoy the finest hospitality in tropical lush surroundings within the compound! And with only 21 rooms truly Boutique! Just imagine stepping out of the suite/room to just plunge into the pool, which stretches the entire length of the building, with a few cabanas next to a small restaurant serving all the meals of the day, and particularly strong in its Asian offerings! And of course Vinod, F&B manager really knows how to please the guests! Naturally I indulged in my now customary Nasi Lemak, that wonderful Coconut Rice with a generous helping of the perfect Sambal, but also a bowl of Chicken Curry on the side! What better way to start the day with an authentic Malaysian Favourite! We further had an amazing meal/dinner at the Villa’s restaurant! Chef Zul surprised us with some very special dishes & flavours! The Nasi Ulam was truly special, we loved the coconut sambal, had to ask for extras, The chicken Rendang flavourful and gladly. Not overcooked/dry! The Seabass in its sauce special (I didn’t care for the Chinchalo though) For the last night I was especially impressed with Chef Zul’s Kway Teow, topped with perfectly Cooked Prawns, as well as a side dish of Stir-fried Vegetables that I thoroughly enjoyed! A quiet tranquil place nestled in a residential neighborhood of Kuala Lumpur. Beauty, simplicity, peace. We booked a package that included a 60 minute wellness massage and delicious dinner for 2. Every room is unique and tastefully designed. Warm hospitality exhumes from all. Afternoon tea and snacks. Happy hour with free flow drinks. Evening bedcovers turned down and a tray of nighttime delights including port and chocolate bonbons. The whole experience was absolutely lovely. We will be back.

Couldn’t recommend highly enough - we arrived late for our one night stay to a beautiful room and immediately felt relaxed. The staff were all lovely throughout our stay and organised things quickly for us. The following day we checked out but they still organised a a massage for me (which was very good) and went over and above to accommodate us while we were waiting for our flight. Would definitely stay again, thank you!

Amazing stay. The location is in the middle of the city, and we weren't expecting that it's such an amazing place. The room itself is a villa. We booked for a luxe crib where it comes with a plunge pool, used it once at night where the water is already heated up. The TV is a smart TV equipped with Netflix and Youtube without the need to casting or HDMI. The bed is very comfortable, and large. Prior to srrival, Mazuan is really helpful with the enquiry, and during check in, Erdy was explaining everything from the start to the end. The breakfast itself is amazing, we didn't dine in as it can be served in rooms, which allows us to laze even more. The only regret that we have is that we didn't utilize the room more as we were out most of the time. Improvement that I can think of is to place iron and board in the room for the ease of access, although they got it delivered very fast, and also a better pad lock, the one I've, room 8, was quite hard to be locked. Will be back for sure in the future.…

Having stayed here a number of times before the pandemic, this was our first trip back since. The staff are as welcoming and helpful as ever (especially Malar, Mal and Ash). Good value as part of our stay included laundry, breakfast and cocktail hour, plus a half hour massage. The massage spa is new and we love this addition.

A wonderfully calming, bijoux and welcoming experience on the edge of the dynamic city of Kuala Lumpur. The staff were incredibly polite, helpful and passionate about their place of work and the atmosphere they're working to create (to the point of asking one guest to turn down the volume on their mobile phone during breakfast service, which we inwardly applauded!) The room was unique and spacious with a welcome letter from the manager and regular cleaning and water refills (including in a beautiful locally made clay flask), and even a night cap of quality port and some pistachios. The restaurant sources products locally and take care in preparing a delicious menu. We came here as a honeymoon treat and it met all our expectations! The staff were super welcoming and made us feel looked after. The environment was restful and peaceful, it made us feel like we're on an island (when in fact we were in Kuala Lumpur city). I can't recommend it enough for relaxation and excellent service. It gave us the warmest welcome to Malaysia! Thank you to all who served us during our stay. Andy, Avita, Arif and Malaf at reception, Amin, Vinod, Roghini and Rafat at the restaurant, Marianne at the spa facilities, and Ash at security. Stayed here for 2 nights in an upper floor luxe crib. Really enjoyed our stay - an oasis of peace and quiet in the midst of KL. The room was very nice with everything you need and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast in the restaurant was very nice - the selection was a bit limited but of very good quality. We also ate dinner in the restaurant which was excellent. The staff were very welcoming and efficient too. Would definitely recommend this hotel if you are travelling through KL and prefer small boutique hotels rather than the big corporate names.
