First, they did not prepare my room for the extra bed eventhough it is written very clearly on my hotel voucher and already paid extra for the request. They claim that they did not know about the request but after they check their data, it turns out that they did not read the booking requests but never apologized to us. It was 8 pm when we arrived for the check in and we have to wait for 4 HOURS until the extra bed came. To make it worse, they do not have any housekeeping employee working on the nights so it was the security guard who knows nothing about installing the extra bed that eventually come to bring it to our room. We even have to show him the way to install the extra bed because he has no clue and almost broke the bed even! Secondly, all of the complimentary amenities such as towels and bottled water are all in shortage. Everyday it was only set for 2 guests! We have to ask the reception EVERY NIGHT to bring the towels and water and everything else that was needed for the 3rd guest staying in the room. Thirdly, breakfast food was awful. They didn’t have butter or jam for the bread! Menu was also didn’t have variety. Not even an egg station was present.…
Staying here for 2 days while travelling to Kuala Lumpur on 3-4 October 2019. we booked 2 standard rooms. Actually I have been stayed before in this hotel, at that time still under name Beltiff Hotel. Now it has adopted new name which is Prescott, in which larger chain of hotel, so it boost the prestige. The hotel located in Jalan Changkat Thambi Dollah, a walking distance from Berjaya Times Square, Bukit Bintang and Jalan Alor. the location can be accessed via monorail, just depart on Imbi Station. The location is the winning bargain of this hotel This is a boutique 3 star hotel. There is a small hotel lobby with small coffee shop. In hotel lobby providing massage chair. And there is small dining room where breakfast regularly provided. The standard room provided with 2 separate single bed. The size of the room is moderate. Not too big, but not too small if you compare with the same rate in Singapore. It has provided with LCD screen tv, coffee and tea set, working desk, hanger for clothes and deposit box. The bathroom has a small size. They provide hair dryer on each room. They only provide shower room with no shower box so expect a wet bathroom. The breakfast menu is adequate. They only provided 3 main course menu such as spagethi, egg, nasi lemak. And they also provide one type of soup, and bread set. Coffee and tea also provided. Drink provided were some kind of lemonade drink and water. In conclusion I would like to recommend this hotel due to the price and location …
The hotel is actually not located in Bukit Bintang area. Nevertheless, it provides value for money stay. Clean, comfortable and spacious. However, it could be inconvenient for those who drive as the hotel does not provide car park.
I didn’t take any photos of it because my wife told me that there were some critters that emerged from the electrical base for the kettle - I happened to have my headlamp because I was on a climbing trip... and I used toilet paper to quash some 20+ cockroach nymphs that emerged after I prepped myself and tapped the base against the dresser table (yep!) in an attempt to eradicate them. The beds were clean and fine - the tap in the bath was shaky. I’m sure if the hotel wanted to, this would be a channel pliers kind of job, they shouldn’t have a guest tell them what’s amiss. I do know that in future we will it a miss.
The location is good, accessible to train stations (Imbi and Hang Tuah) and near the city center. The room was clean, no bad smelling sink👍👍. The staff were nice. What I did not like was the food, it was all the same every day. Nevertheless, our stay was amazing!😁😁
