We were 4 friends who stayed over at Fernloft. It is very nicely located, with the bus stop, metro station and the drinking water dispenser in front of it, chinatown and most shopping areas around. The terrace is nice place to meet people, open 24/7 with wifi. they have coffee machines and toasters. The hostel itself was compact and comfy...

The dorms are much cleaner than average hostels in this part of the world. The breakfast is simple but nice (bread, butter and jam) and there are enough toilets for everybody, unlike many hostels where people have to wait long periods of time before being able to take a shower. Above all, the staff is awesome. They are super nice...

Unless you want cheap cheap accommodation, please avoid this hostel. It is the worst I have stayed in yet. The stairways are the only part of the hotel that are "hygienic". Washrooms and bedrooms are horrible !!! I will not be staying here again. My suggestion would be to close for two weeks and renovate the whole hostel. Ask to...

Very good value for money. Staff always available and friendly. The rooms are huge and clean, but keep in mind that it's a backpacker hostel so you will share with many other. Besides that it was a nice experience. Nice common area where you can meet other travellers. Good position, close to market and LRT

Fernloft is a nice place, centrally located. In the neighbourhood are plenty of cheap local food options, including several delicious Indian restaurants. The hostel has a rooftop and tv corner. Some staff is very friendly, some not. The big dormitory isn't very nice. Uncomfortable pillows and matrasses. No personal reading lights, so the bright light on the ceiling can be...

This place is basic, huge dorm room, like a prison, many metal frame bunk beds. So you hear them squeak all night when people come and go. Prepare for drunk idiots who wont shut up in the middle of the night either. The room was mostly cool, until someone decided to keep shutting off the fans, because they didnt like...
