Booked this hotel because of its location. And I was really happy with it! Short working distance to the main shopping malls, transport stops and meals places. Hop-on/hop-off bus stop just in front of the entrance. The hotel itself is rather general and economy concept. So you will feel here comfortable and relaxed for your money without any pretension for premium and luxury services. Everything is modest, good and cost it’s value. I recommend to stay in Ambassador if you spend all your day out for shopping and sightseeing - returning in the evening back to this calm place will be as a reward)

Overall, this hotel is not bad for the price. The location is also not bad. We Can walk to quite a few places. The Room is small but clean. My room had enough room for two beds. The Bathroom also rather clean. I could even open up my umbrella to dry on the bathroom.

Hotel staff were friendly. Room was clean especially the bathroom.
Amenities were basic and the electric kettle was not working.
The food and the cafe for breakfast which was included in the room rate was lacking though we did not expect much.

Hotel just a walking distance to Pavillion, Berjaya Times Square & Bukit Bintang, Petaling Street. Front desk staff is friendly and helpful. Hotel is situated beside main road as we stayed on the second floor, we can hear noises from the street. The room is quite neat and clean but a little bit rundown. We had dinner @ Food Republic in Pavillion with a lot choices of food to choose from.

I stayed at this hotel last saturday& checked out on sunday..I usually stay at the capitol hotel or grand seasons but since it was the weekend most hotels were fully booked so I decided to try this hotel based on the recommendation at tripadvisor. The room though small and window got stuck n tv plug was lose(waiting for someone to be electrocuted)it was okay since it was only a 1 night stay but was really pissed me off was the truly rude male staff I spoke to on the phone..I accidently left my favourite sweater in the room cupboard and only remembered that I left in the cupboard the next day and I immediately called around 10pm to inform them if I could collect it this friday but imagine my surprise when the male staff rudely informed me " we're not sure if your sweater is still there because there was another guest after your check out"!! What ruBbish! Aren't your housekeeping staff suppose to check all the amenities in the room before releasing the room ?? I work in the hotel industry too and there are many other budget hotel which are more corteous that that male staff! When I insisted that the sweater is there, he kept asking what proof I have and when I told him the description of my sweater, he started interrupting me & actually shouted at me! EXcuse me? Should I open your hotel's cctv to prove that my sweater was there? Can't believe you hire such rude thieves as staffs!!! No hospitality at all, isn't worth paying RM180 room only per night!!! My lost sweater costs more that your room!!

This hotel is located in Bukit Bintang, good location. Not hard to find. There are malls, eateries around the hotel. Emporium mall was just a 5 minute walk away and you can find the Food Republic below the mall where you can choose different kinds of foods. The staffs are friendly and approachable. The room was clean, nice bed. Nice bathroom. Fast speed wifi. Good price. They clean the room everyday. 7/11 is just across the hotel.

All in all, the hotel was not bad. We will comeback again in Kuala Lumpur and stay in this hotel again.

The biggest advantage of Ambassador is its location. Located right in the center of bukit bintang, it is a value for money deal.
Hotel is clean and internet works like magic.
They have competitive rate, staff is friendly.

Yea yea perfect location, walking distance to Pavilion, H&M bla bla bla..... WHATEVER!!!! They DARE TO KICK OUT me and my friends, 18 years old, teenage girls, when it was already almost midnight, with nowhere to go. Ok we broke the hotel policy but have a heart man.... At least let us stay for one night thennnn you can kick us out the next day. But heck the staff/receptionist didn't even look concerned of our welfare we're just students, good friends checking in to a budget hotel, having a sleepover we longed plan since we arrived in KL, spend time with each other after such a long time. We are MALAYSIANS!!!! Heck where's the value in that?? What the world has turned into, Malaysians especially, just makes me sad, my faith in humanity just.... I can't even..... It's all about money money money. The hotel itself was ok, room's ok, bathroom's ok, but the HEART and SINCERITY to actually manage a hotel, the aim of building a hotel in the first place, to welcome guests, put a roof above their heads, provide them with shelter, a temporary home for some of us, does not exist. We barely spent a night there and they took 2/3 of our money saying it was penalty. =_= And you guys should see the look on the face of the manager when he savagely kicked us out shamelessly and without guilt or any speck of concern on his face but nooooo..... He is a bully. He won over a bunch of broke, homeless and helpless girls. Congratulations. You deserve a standing ovation manager of Ambassador Hotel. Ambassador lah sangat. Bad bad bad example of hotel management. Bad example of a human being more like it. But it's your choice really fellow hotel-bookers. If you're with me in this, you will not choose to book and stay at this hotel. You will look for other hotels with better and more humane staff, who'll assist you in any way they could. If you're not, well then, sorry to say this but maybe you're as much of a bully or as cold-hearted as the manager/owner. Thank you for reading, Cheers!

I saw many good reviews about this hotel in TripAdvisor and Agoda around February or amarch 2017, so i decided to book a triple family room for 3 nights from 29th july to 1st august. I know it is a cheap hotel with a good location. But i didn't think that it will turn to be a nightmare for me and family. The triple room is far different compare to the photos they exhibit at the website.

When i first check in, it took me about 10 minutes to decide to change to another room because it is not just dirty, it is like the room is in chaos.
1. The sheet and the pillow is yellow stained even though they said it was fresh
2. The wall is cracked and stained badly, some part of the paint is peeled off, and the plint is peeled off also and it seemed that they don't care because they just put it on the floor without fixing it.
3. There are mould on some of the ceiling
4. The towel is stained
5. The slippers is worn off from many times used and the right and left slipper didn't match
6. The cupboard is dirty and dusty
7. Some of the ceiling in front of the room have a hole on it
8. The air conditioner is not working
9. And there is a wall separate the beds, even though the photo on the web shows no wall between the beds.

And after i request for another room, they said it is fully booked and they will look if there is another triple room for tomorrow for me. At that time me and my family decide to move to another hotel because we cannot imagine have to stay one night in that condition. After i tell the manager/owner of the hotel that i want to check out without asking any refund, they forced me to see another room before we decide to check out, and they show me another triple room with a little better condition (the wall and the ceiling is newly painted),but it is still a dirty room and looks different compare to the photos on the web. At that times i knew they have lied to me, because there is not only one, but two triple room available for me to move into even though they said they are fully booked at first.

The manager/owner try to persuade me to stay but i had enough of it. And surprisingly he said that he is not happy to see me leave, and they didn't even think about how i feel about my room at the first place.

A really really bad and horrible experience for me, and there is a much better hotels option in the area with a little higher price.
