Average!worth the price. Near to chinatown and all transpo.Room bit old but can actually accepted. Can smell smooke from the hallway.Staff, attentive but not smiling always. overall, got a nice stay !
Nice and budget hotel. The lobby is good and rooms are ok for $25/ night. The break fast is average. The only down side is the hotel is just beside a LRT line and you will have noise from LRT movement from 5 AM-12 PM.....So sleeping could be a challenge
Will not post any negative comments as the room was fairly clean and was $25USD per night including a hot breakfast. View was nice, lots of hot water. Will say its a little difficult to find from the street...
Looking for a budget hotel that looked good by its lobby and rooms on the internet and didn't read reviews? Checked! Didn't have a good experience here either. Location: Located above Pudu Central, it was not exactly accessible since I had to go in the UTC first. E-hailing services would be your best friend to travel around and the waiting area is at UTC. Otherwise the monorail station below the hotel is also available. Lobby: Not bad for the hotel. Don't expect much but it was a bit better compared to most hotel within the same budget. Service: SLOW AS HECK. At least 15 minutes of waiting just to check in. Btw, I booked and paid for a double room earlier on (2 months beforehand) and informed me that they only had twin bedroom, which was certainly a big turnoff! It was not supposed to happen as you have allocated your rooms in your booking system. Amenities: The usual that you get for a hotel but compared to other hotels (some cheaper) this hotel is not up to expectations. Facilities: The usual except for the air-conditioning and hot shower. AC was not cool enough even set . Hot shower was not even warm at night. Additionally, there was no hairdryer as well and electric kettle. Overall, personally I felt that this hotel could improve in their service in terms of check-ins and awareness in their booking system. They also could add small touch towards the amenities as I mentioned above (small kettle, cups, hairdryer). One more thing, please don't shout at your guests from the reception counter to collect something. Just let them know by approaching them and inform them personally. …
Booking a standard room so nothing to expect much from the room however room is clean and comfortable. One bad thing is you will feel annoyed when LRT is moving. The railway of LRT is exactly below the hotel. Therefore it is noisy and u may feel difficult to sleep if you stay lower level. Simple buffer breakfast is provided
Okay, so - I'll admit it; we went budget. Out of necessity. And online the location was right next to a train station so that was a big pull. Reality check: - You get what you paid for. - The station is close but it is not exactly easily accessible. - Don't judge a hotel by its lobby. So first, they don't take card payments so you'll have to head offsite to an ATM. Getting here, we were asked for a double or 2 singles; we asked for a double. We got the double then was promptly told, nope the hotel made a mistake and you should move into one room over: this room was 2 singles. *facepalm The bathroom had a shower, which was nice but it also had another shower under the light fixture which is hanging over the toilet; it's very uncomfortable using the facilities and dodging budget raindrops. Cleaning will enter your room if you are not there, regardless of your desires. I asked the reception to please inform the cleaners to not enter the room if we are not there - they said they would, but it happened again (we stayed in until 11am to avoid this). On top of that, the first time they cleaned, I still came back to find a discarded condom wrapper on the floor - just in case I forget what budget hotels are famous for. Then during checkout, the room change "mistake" came back to bite us in the butt as staff scrambled to figure out how to refund a deposit (for like an hour, probably longer). So I'm sitting here, in the lobby, with more than enough time to write a review for this place - while they get their stuff in order. Sigh. Location is good; everything else will leave you as bewildered as the staff are.…
This month itself i have recommended few of my family and friends to stay in Ancasa Express pudu sentral...the best thing that touched by this hotel was the duty manager in charge .His name is Mr.Roy.dont really know what is his real full name but you don't need a name for his humble and kind heart.Mr Roy helped me several times during my stay here Recently my friend checked in with me and during checking out,we misplaced the receipt for deposit and the reception in charge refuse to release the deposit money without even trying to help us.i don't like to mentioned the name however the management should train her more. Well i looked for Mr Roy the manager and again he settled the issue with few minutes and also explained the reason why unable to release with a genuine smile. Again Mr Roy did it again. THANK YOU Ancasa Express management team once again for providing us good service .Hotel is like a second house and guest should feel it like home sweet home. Hope the management compliments or even promote him to higher level so that ge can teach or be a role model for new employees.. THANK YOU MR ROY AND ANCASA EXPRESS MANAGEMENT TEAMS…
Located just above PUDU Bus Terminal Station. A bit difficult to find the hotel entrance as it's located at level 4 at the parking space. Overall the room is acceptable with the price you paid for, normal simple and yet comfortable. Noticed the room was not cleaned when we checked in with a layer of dust can be seen on top of the cabinets and side table. Urine stain found on toilet seat with smoking ash. Do make a complain to the counter and they proposed to changed my room. Since I'm only staying for one night, I just requested the cleaner to clean the room. The counter staff are attentive and polite. Do take note if you are travelling alone especially ladies as the location is quiet during night time.
This is our spot to stay when in Kuala Lumpur. Staff is friendly, hotel is clean, and location is great. We were in KL for 3 months for medical treatments, and it was a comfortable stay. We always book to larger deluxe room with twin beds, just for more space plus the twins pushed together is about the size of a king bed. There is also a place to leave luggage while you go off and explore the rest of Malaysia. Brekkie is included, and the wifi is good. However. The hotel needs sprucing up. When we were here three years ago, there were fresh flowers in the lobby and the dining room. Beds were more comfortable. Things were a bit newer. This time (Feb to May 2018), things are a bit worn. No flowers anywhere, just plants. We were in two different rooms, and in both, my mattress had uncomfortable springs that meant I could only sleep on one area of the mattress. (I'm the original Princess and the Pea.) In retrospect, I could have said something and possibly had the mattress changed, since my husband had no problems in either room. I adapted, but it was just something I mentioned to the manager on our way out. As I said, the staff is wonderful. Make friends with the cleaning staff, they'll leave you extra bottles of water!…
