Extremely value for the money. Having realized this was Arte Mont Kiara, I got a little bit concerned at first as my experience with Arte Ampang was subpar, though knowing that the management is different.

Check in experience was smooth and easy, from entering the car park to the room. I was thinking that it's going to be an AirBnB style but it's exactly like checking in to a hotel. The receptionist and lobby looks very nice and welcoming. Staff were diligent and friendly too, and kudos to the staff that kept my personal card as I handed it over together with the parking card (as it's identically blank white card) during check out. Truly grateful for that instead of disposing the card away. Only unpleasant experience was that I fell down with smooth floor after rain, and the security guard that was being unfriendly when I insisted to place my car somewhere so I won't obstruct any cars, instead of the narrow lobby, while ran down to collect my card that just took less than a minute. I don't think it's OK to shout at your guests, no matter what.

The facilities are new and great, with every tower has different amenities from fancy garden to the nice hot jacuzzi pool. I didn't regret taking day off to check in to this hotel and enjoyed the privacy while using the facilities. That itself has already kept my entertained until the late evening.

The room was cozy and complete, with cooking utensils, cutleries and washing machine and dryer, despite being promoted as a 'Snug Studio'. It's amazing how much it has with a small space. I really liked the design of the room, bathroom and selection of furniture, it's very hip and chic. I have zero complains.

Having stayed many boutique hotels, I truly believe in the potential of AMI Suites if the standards are maintained and continuous to strive for improvements.

The design was fantastic! The staff was super friendly! The facilities design was awesome (didn't manage to enter some of them due to CMCO) ! I stay to celebrate my birthday with friends. Everything was perfect and excellent. They even have a Pop Up Café in their lobby and you can purchase a cup of nice coffee there in the morning. I will definitely come back for a staycation again.

Keep up the good work AMI Management &Team =

One of the best boutique hotel I have seen in KL. Really appreciate the practicality of the room layouts as the studio rooms are spacious with kitchen & dining table. There is also an option for 2 bedrooms in a single units which is great for families. Mont kiara is a great place for food, drinks and has easy access to KL, PJ, Bangsar, Damansara.

AMI Suites, Mont Kiara Kuala Lumpur: Gaudeville. The superficial behemoth. A few other unkind descriptions come to mind. This was our shoo-in after a glorious stay at RuMa Residences. We didn’t expect the same kind of pomposity matching RuMa but AMI Suites fell so short of expectations after we glossed through the Alice in Wonderland pictures. It’s all pictures to put it simply. Pictures can lie.

It looks superb superficially but soon you’ll discover the multitude of flaws. The finishings and constructions are so bad. Everything is worn out and peeling. Design considerations are so bad – you’re constantly tripping or falling over sockets on floor, unwarranted steps down. Then it’s extremely dirty. The upkeep of the facilities are so bad. You don’t smell the stench in pictures nor see the cracks/peels/damages in pictures. I called housekeeping so many times. There was hair everywhere in our junior suite. Fingerprints all over windows. Stains on towels. There are no towels at pool or gym. You’re only entitled to 2. That’s it.

Food is over-priced and the spots are tacky. I don’t know what crowd you belong to. But we found ourselves surrounded by tacky averager’s trying to don on their Fendi’s, Diors, Gucci’s to the nines but in the most tasteless fashion. Instagrammers are everywhere hogging the spots. It’s very tiring. And extremely shallow and superficial.

The upside – it’s conceptually very cool – from the building design to the creative touches such as Rainbow Lounge, Floating Butterfly Garden and the jacuzzi pods. It’s just executed so terribly. I won’t even be surprised if the building collapses. The materials are cheap and they show. Rahul the front office bell boy is absolutely sweet and friendly making up points but the entire establishment sets the bar so low in the entire experience.#eatstylishtravelstylish

Dear Ms. Kim, Thank you for taking your precious time to write us a review on Tripadvisor too, since we already gave our response to your same feedback on other platforms like Google Review and OTA as well. However, we really appreciate the kind words you put in for Ruhel. I have personally shared this with him and the team for further encouragement. However, other words describing the hotel, the property, and the nearby outlets were not very kind. My sincerest apologies that we have failed to deliver our desired services and that your overall experiences were not up to your expectations and preferences. I will certainly share these with the departments for further review. I'm sorry for any inconvenience caused.. Best Regards,

The unit is not spacious but enough for a small group of people to gather and chill out.
For 2 bedrooms unit, there is only one bathroom. The bathroom is quite roomy, but the shower partition/enclosure is a bit small to my preference. Someone with a bigger build might find that area a bit uncomfortable.

All the appliances worked well but the dishes unfortunately hadnt fully dried when we wanted to use them. We tried to find tissue to dry them but to our dismay, only toilet tissue was available and it was the only one in the bathroom. Luckily, we had our own to use.

We also called the reception counter and housekeeeping multiple times but no one picked up the call to cater to our request. That was my first to encounter a 'useless' so called hotel phone service. In the end, we had to go down in person. It was annoying, seriously.
Other than instagrammable picture spots in the building, i find the services fell short of expectations. Excuses like 'there are so many guests check in today or 'we have a big event bla bla', to me sounded so.....anyway, i can accept that but hopefully in the future, the staffs can be trained better and there are calls from rooms, please dont ignore them.

i like the whole set up of the hotel, from lobby, pop up cafe (serves coffee and cakes) and the rooms. they are different than the regular hotel rooms where an equipped kitchen is provided for all yr basic cooking needs, washer dryer, dining area and spacious living room. There was so much more space than expected, which is pleasant. Staffs were friendly. Views are absolutely amazing - we got KLCC views. 10/10. Stayed 2 nights with my family. Would stay again.

Interior of the place is stunning. The hotel staffs and security are friendly and helpful. Parking is complimentary for hotel guests. The room is big and comes with a small kitchen with utensils.

But the cleanliness of the room can be improved - there's stains on the table and crumbs on the floor. The walls are thin, not very soundproof.

But overall we did enjoy our stay. Location is convenient if you have a car. It's just about 15mins away from KL city centre and it is 8mins from Publika.

Dear Ms. Celstina, Thank you for taking your precious time to write us a review. I really appreciate the compliment of our associates' services, I have shared this with them for encouragement and further improvement. My sincerest apologies for the room condition, ever since and thankfully, we have managed to increase our Housekeeping manpower and conducted more trainings to ensure excellent services are delivered. Next year, we also have plan to improve on our rooms soundproofing in stages. Overall, I am glad we had a pleasant stay, thank you and we hope to welcome you back in a not too distant future. Was having a short staycation with my family at AMI Suites just to see how amazing is the hotel and services. The reviews are very true. We are having difficulties with our room booking and some problems with our rooms after checked-in, but Mr William Gan, the Room Division Manager, had rendered his best service ever which is my family felt like home but way better than that and I had never experience it before in other hotels. A truly recommended hotel and a place to be when visiting KL.

It’s great more places like these are mushrooming KL.

the hotel concept is definitely one of the most interesting one I have seen. Gorgeous spaces.

Kudos to the Friendly reception who was patient in attending to my queries. They told me the hotel is still in soft launch phase hence restaurant & room service will be available soon. In the mean time I had a great time having coffee & dessert at the pop up cafe within lobby area.

They took the best of both worlds
- hotel ( hotel services, front office, daily housekeeping.. room service soon)
- serviced apartment ( spaciousness, separate living and dining areas, kitchen with amenities).

A very comfortable and cozy stay. Will revisit.
