The accommodation is in a very good location, next to the Petronas Towers. KLCC and Bukit Bintang are also within walking distance. We reached most of the tourist sites in 10-15 minutes by taxi. (except during peak hours, which start in the late afternoon and evening, then public transport and walking are more advisable). The room was very well equipped (there is filtered water, a washing machine with detergent, full cutlery, etc.) and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom is spacious and we had a view of the Petronas Towers. The breakfast was also a positive disappointment for us, we expected less, because of the previous reviews, but I think it was completely good. Obviously there could be a bigger selection, but compared to an apartment hotel it was even better than average. The deposit was also refunded faster than average.
The only disappointment was the rooftop restaurant/bar. We went up there for lunch once and it was the worst we had on our entire trip. They basically served us the part of the meat you would cut at home and throw it in to the trash. We pointed this out to the hotel as well. Also, there could be a few more sunbeds and chairs by the pool, because there would be plenty of room.

The apartment we stayed in was absolutely perfect. Everything we could possibly want from the biggest bed we’ve ever slept in, coffee machine, umbrella, washing machine, the list goes on. They’ve thought of everything, even water filters so you can drink the tap water.
The location is perfect, directly opposite Petronas Towers (3 mins walk) and not far from the KLCC park (5 mins walk). Nearest Metro 5 mins walk.
10 mins in taxi to the nightlife/bars/food markets at Changkat Bukit Bitang and Jalan Alof Food Street. (About £2 in a taxi if you download the Grab App).
Hotel is spotless and most of the staff can’t do enough for you.
The only issue I had was with the breakfast. Lacked variety and the quality of the food and coffee and was really poor in context with how amazing the rest of our stay was.
The first day we went for breakfast at 09:30am, (breakfast finished at 10:00am). The staff started clearing the breakfast away at 09:45am and at the same time started cleaning the coffee machine so we couldn’t use it. A lot of the food was gone and wasn’t replenished.
Also one of the members of staff serving breakfast had a horrible attitude and was one of the most unapproachable people I’ve ever met.
The fact I’ve still given the review 5 stars despite this shows just how amazing the rest of our stay was. I would highly recommend

If you are looking for accommodation in the centre of Kuala Lumpur with a view of the Petronas Towers and a stone's throw from the LRT KLCC, this is the place to be! The rooms are very spacious, clean, well furnished and equipped with a kitchen with all you need (washer/dryer with detergent available, dishes, pots and pans, oven...). The hotel has a large swimming pool with sunbeds and a smaller one on the roof overlooking the Petronas Towers. Excellent if you want to cool off during the day. The reception staff are very friendly and helpful and greeted us with a smile every time we entered or left the hotel. The location is also great: in addition to being close to the Towers and the LRT stop, the hotel is very close to the Avenue K shopping centre, which has a large food court and supermarket. Tip for getting to the hotel quickly on foot from KLCC LRT station (5 minutes): When you exit the LRT turnstiles, take the escalator up to Avenue K level G and go to the car park entrance; when you exit the car park, follow the street to the left; when you get to the intersection, the hotel is right in front of you. Excellent value for money. We highly recommend it.

Great unobstructed view on the Petronas Towers from the clean swimming pool deck, great choice of drinks at the bar near the swimming pool. Petronas Towers in short walking distance. Rooms and hotel are exceptionally clean. There is unlimited complimentary filtered drinking water at the room to avoid plastic bottles, so bring reusable bottles to bottle it. Checkin/checkout very easy and friendly. The bell boys at the entrance are exceptionally welcoming and friendly. Breakfast is good and the breakfast room is clean, but the atmosphere in the breakfast room is not very inviting.

This is a long overdue review but the fact that I took time to review this means something!
I stayed in a 3 bedroom apartment, (1) My parents (2) My 2 siblings (3) My family of 3. What an amazing experience. You arrive in a luxurious, aromatic lobby. You will immediately feel the elegance of Ascott. Check-in time was a bit slow but there were a few other people checking in but we didn't mind the wait in such a nice lobby.
When we arrived in the room, we shrieked with excitement and relief because the rooms were beautifully decorated, hues of green forest took mainstage. Everything was well maintained, it smelt lovely and the layout was great for a large family to gather - we had memorable dinners, played board games and when it was time to sleep, we slept so well. The breakfast was as expected - great, no complaints. Location was so prime that we literally took 5 minutes to reach Suria KLCC. Be pampered with luxury and fine service here, you won't regret it!

Best decision I made was to spend NYE here. The rooms are spacious, super clean & full of amenities. Perfect for families with small children. There’s a water filter, full sized fridge & washer dryer in every room. My room was overlooking KLCC which was beautifully lit up at night & we got to watch the fireworks at midnight from the comfort of our room. The bed is super comfy & there’s a bathtub in the room. The pool is huge & there’s a cafe on that floor too. If you want to head out at night, there’s a rooftop bar which gives you a full close up view of KLCC. Breakfast at the hotel was decent & did its job. We were satisfied. Special thanks to Elirra & Saran especially for treating us to well during our stay. We’ll be back again for sure!

The customer service was brilliant, will definitely be back here again. Everyone had a smile on their face from the entrance of the building. The room was also serviced and the location is also good to get to places such as KLCC, you can also get a good view of the twin towers.

We have always stayed at Ascott KLCC whenever we visited Kuala Lumpur with family/friends, at least for the past decade. This time round we were shocked at how much it has cut back on its quality. I won't fault it for charging for car parking now. But there are standards that I am accustomed to for Ascott. You now have to pre-order your breakfast when you checked in. But it is no luxury room service. The food was served cold and in disposable wares. They reminded me of food from mass central kitchen served during Covid 19 quarantine at dedicated facilities. Next, for 4 persons in a two-bedroom apartment, we were only given 3 keys. But only one key could activate the electricity in the room. This caused much inconvenience to those who didn't hold THAT key but needed to return to room separately. And in each bathroom there was only one hand towel, and not a single face towel. In the kitchen, there was no kitchen towel, hand towel or even piece of rag to wipe off water from the kitchen top. And here's the funny thing: an instruction card next to the phone said "Press "9" for outside line, but you cannot call external party. It has to be connected through the operator/receptionists. It is like travelling back in time to the '70s or '80s.
The saving grace was its front desk staff, porter and housekeeping staff remained friendly and professional. It listed itself as 4-star but I won't give it more than 2.5 stars.
