I was having dinner with my friends there. We were approached buy a guy name mr Faruk. He is such an asset to the organization. His service was impeccable and he was very hospitable. He did a tour of the hotel which we were amazed by the amazing architecture and the interior. I am very happy with his professionalism and manner which will definitely make us comeback! Keep him at all cost

We had a great staycation in the Else KL over the weekend. At first, I have to admit that I doubt the capability of this hotel since I’m travelling with family and my mother who can’t walk and is using wheelchair. But their service was beyond excellent ! All of our need and requests were taken care off diligently. We even celebrated my mum’s birthday at the Yellow Fin restaurant. Tq for Sufian and his colleagues, we had a great and memorable dinner there. Sharing some of the pics on the meals that we enjoyed most during the occasion

Else Hotel is a unique hotel in an architectural harmonious design that soothes many souls like mine. As a traveling designer, I adore hotels that put thoughts in details; softest toothbrush for guests, Dyson hair dryer, salt water swimming pool, contents of its library etc... More importantly the PEOPLE that run this hotel. Front Desk, Raw Kitchen and Concierge are all important people who make my stay very special.

Awesome service from the minute we stop in the front of the hotel. Once we got out of the grab car, there were 2 guys who attended to us. We were here for a drink and everyone was super friendly. Even allowed us to use their wifi. I also like the ambience of this hotel. Makes you feel so warm with their yellow lighting. Definitely a plus, opposite of the hotel is Chinatown.

The food and service at raw kitchen is 10/10. My friends and I really enjoyed our time there. One of the staff, Faruk, was especially helpful and super friendly in accommodating us. Can’t wait to go back!

Such an aesthetic hotel located just a few minutes walk from Pasar Seni and its associated MRT/LRT. Super easy to find on Grab, and my room had a cute view of the florist shop, which gives such Parisian apartment vibes. We got a Japanese-inspired which has a platform for the bed, and these really cool comfy sofas that was SO comfortable. Staff service was top notch, they were helpful, from the security guards at the door who helped to hail my Grab ride, to the tall and friendly gentleman who was manning the breakfast alone, to the concierge and reception staff. Our needs were attended to, and we had such a blast enjoying the hotel itself. The library even has games and it's super cozy. While the facilities are pretty standard across many hotels (pool, breakfast, etc), I believe the service is what elevates the guest experience and would definitely return again. I love that the decor of the hotel is congruent with the breakfast too. It's not buffet as we had initially thought; instead there's cut fruit, an appetizer, a main and a choice of drink. They were filling and the presentation is fabulous. I also adore the sundowner (evening cocktails) which offer a nice wrap-up to the day and gives us a chance to wind down after all the walking around. I'd say given the relative chic-ness of the hotel, as well as its included amenities, the price point could be a deterrent to anyone looking for a budget stay. We wanted something a little extra nice to celebrate, and this was definitely worth it. Can't wait to return to Else again!…

Else Kuala Lumpur is a sophisticated boutique hotel that skillfully blends historical charm, refined aesthetics, and a touch of modernity, all while fostering a serene ambiance in the heart of busting Chinatown. It boasts two innovative restaurants, calming gym areas, an exquisite rooftop with pool, and an exceptionally convenient central position to great neighborhood eats. Pros: - great in-room amenities with sustainability and care of packaging in mind - stylistic design of both common spaces and rooms, detailed effort placed on furniture and appliance curration (from cups to dyson blowdryer in room) - excellent service throughout hotel, from security/doormen to front desk agent (would like to shoutout the night front desk lady in particular) - incredible value for money: for the price it's a no brainer to pick this property over many of the Marriotts in the surrounding area. - Art collaborations and in-residence artists offer a fresh flair among the hotel scene in KL Cons: - The hotel's exceptional creative direction has attracted a distinct clientele, which can sometimes lead to fatigue among the staying guests. The lobby and restaurants are filled with Chinese influencers taking photos for RED, which is to a degree bothersome to staying guests navigating the ground floor space. - Sound-proofing is abysmal in rooms facing the main street. Light sleepers will have a terrible time in these rooms during rush hour or late night hours. To the hotel: please install sound-proof windows in those rooms. The property is doing too many things right to have this critical flaw left unaddressed. Overall, it's a decently new hotel managed and maintained by competent staff top to bottom and I would not hesitate to recommend any of my friends to stay here. Being a young brand, I guess we need all the publicity we can get but if the photo taking in Raw Kitchen Hall does disturb, perhaps a respite in Yellow Fin Horse may help?
