Short staycation in town area. Full of art feel hotel and room view considered best from the window.
Food Taste so so and little small of portion.
Worth to stay for short period for the price wise.
Some local restaurant can be found surrounding hotel areas. Parking provided at open space with bout 3 mins walking distance but a bit dark in morning and night time

I was at the Steg hotel for Christmas 2022. Number 1, the staff were exceptional, very friendly, and helped with directions, tips for places, to visit, and more. As for facilities, it had all I needed, and a beautiful view of the Petrona towers, and downtown Kuala Lumpur. One of the gems of the hotel was the Transit Cafe. I cannot say enough good things about their staff, woman manager, and food. Normally, I eat outside a hotel restaurant, but I ate at the Transit Cafe.

The place was very clean. And, the bed very comfortable. It was only a 2.4 km walk to the towers, and central Kuala Lumpur, and I enjoyed the walk there. It was excellent value for the money, and I will definitely stay at the Steg the next time I'm in Kuala Lumpur. All in all, it's the people who made it a nice stay.

Definitely not a 4 star hotel, more like 2 stars. Rooms are clean to the eye, but if you look closely you will see that they are not maintained. Beds are good and so are the towels. Breakfast for Asians but for Western people only casino bread with jam. Coffee cold and old. The security/lobby man is wearing slippers and doesn't look good. Don't think he'll help you with your bags. Poor explanation at reception, girl difficult to understand and not friendly. The man is very friendly and easy to understand. Definitely would never stay here again. The swimming pool doesn't look good. Photos on the website are more beautiful than in reality. The hotel is certainly not centrally located and in the middle of a bad area.

It is worth recommending ~ The rooms in the Superior Hotel are very clean and tidy. The hotel reception staff have very good service. They have complete swimming pool and gym facilities. The rooms overlook the Petronas Twin Towers and are very beautiful.

Newly hotel just open oparation 2022 or 2023, so should we check it out get started ...

Location:

In the center of town, walking distance to LRT station about 20min, there's malay n Chinese and Indian food just around the corner.

Lobby:

Very unique old school and new generation design very unique more like a art hotel.

Check in was fast, many sitting capacity sofas and chairs available, Front receptionist is well train knowledge of client info.

Room: 822

Took the lowest category, first  impression 👍 nice clean, huge room. Even it I din`t get any upgraded room. But still worthy it.

International TV channels ready available.

( Just a small matter, needs to roll down curtains for own privacy)

Swimming pool:

Located at top floor 2nd floor with surrounding stunning view scenery. Pool is not super huge , but  just nice. It called RED POOL. GYM room is next to it

Cafe:

No command, as I did not have any meals in the hotel.

Parking:
There's 2 parking selection.
1) Park under valet parking $10
2) Park by own (open car park) $6

Overall:
Staff , room, cleanest etc... All 👍

The hotel is 10 to 15mins walk from train station. there are eating places and convenience shop at the surrounding too. Car park at front of the hotel is RM6 per entry.
The room is nice and modern design. They are rooms with KLCC view too. No bottle water in the room, but there is a container for you to fill water at the water machine at every floor. Wifi working well and the TV is smart tv. But with MyTV local channels only.
Pool is nice, lobby is nice too. Great to take photos.
