I've chosen to try the JW Marriott for a visit during Chinese New Year, after having tried in the years most of the alternatives in the area. I am afraid I will go back to those alternatives (Westin, Ritz Carlton or Intercontinental). The main problem with the JW Marriott is that it's structurally inadequate for the number of rooms and people it holds. I feel like I've spend most of my three-days stay waiting for the elevator, or on long and overcrowded elevator rides. Also the Executive Lounge was always overcrowded with depleted breakfast buffet that took a long time to get replenished. The Fitness Room is tiny and very crowded. In addition, the HDMI port in the living room didn't work and, cherry on the cake, on my last night at the JW, the WiFi was down for more than four hours. And, when I checked in, I noticed I was not upgraded as a Bonvoy Platinum. First world problem, but it's a perk of this status. Kudos to the front desk agent that decided to handle this, mobilised room control, and got me a better room. But I shouldn't have had to ask.

It's overdue. We stayed in JW KL twice in 2023, and both were great experiences. Everyone might have different opinions on their food quality. In my view, it was at least a B. The selection of food for breakfast and the business lounge was all right. I can't complain about it. The staff were very attentive. To name a few: Lewi (or Luwi. I might spell it wrong. A skinny and tall gentleman) and Sandy in the business took care of people like family. They smiled all the time and responded to my needs immediately. There were others in the business lounge who were also very kind to us, however, I couldn't recall their names. I'd love to go back to JW Kuala Lumpur in the future and as a matter of fact, we are arriving KL tomorrow, and guess what? We are staying in JW again! See you soon!

My stay at the JW Marriott Kuala lumpur. My warm welcoming from entering the hotel. I was greeted by one of the duty manager called Sanjiv. A really nice ,humble and noble person who was so welcoming at the very start of my arrival and also had also given me early check in and a upgrade which i certainly did not expect and my room was worth it as i was locatedon 6th floor facing the pool."Seamless Arrival: Smooth Check-in Experience at JW Marriott" my overall stay at JW Marriott was exceptional, elegant, overwhelming, I had felt so much love from everyone. Overall what an amazing hotel to stay in with its great location as everything is within distance. A credit to each of everyone that works there who keeps a tight ship and the hotel running smoothly.

We booked for three nights, but cancelled after one and moved to other hotel. A room close ours was renovated and the paint smelled horrible both on the aisles and in our room. We then saw that an ozone air sterilizer was used on the aisles in front of our room. These mashine shall only be used in unoccupied rooms because it can easily cause lungs problems, but it was used in the hotel aisles with lots people including us have to cross it. After one night all our throats started to feel horrible itchy. The hotel stated these machines are safe to use, but I strongly doubt it. We had intense discussion with hotel management, but finally could cancel our stay and move to other hotel. On top of this big health issue the following points are also very disappointing: - after swimming in the pool the skin of my daughter got very red and itchy - we booked executive lounge acces, but later were told kids less 12 years are not allowed to enter (nothing written about it when booked!). So we had to sit in a crowded and uncomfortable side room instead of the cozy lounge - the breakfast has very less choice and tastes not good - when the hotel is crowded it takes ages to wait in front of the elevators

Dear 971danielk971, Thank you for staying with us and for your review of our hotel. Needless to say, I was extremely disappointed upon receipt of your comments. I understand your frustration, as this is supposed to be a relaxing stay, and it turns out to be unpleasant. We always strive to provide the best service to our guests, and on this occasion, we did not exceed your basic expectations. There is no excuse I can offer but ask for forgiveness. I will investigate your feedback and address it with the respective departments. Sadly, I can’t reverse the mediocre impression you have experienced. Again, I wish to extend my sincere apologies for the less-than-satisfactory stay. Hopefully, you will forgive us one day and give us another opportunity to serve you. Best Regards, Maxine Hotel Manager

Stay using airline points. Pleasantly surprised. Good middle Eastern restaurant. Nice gym. Room tastefully decorated. Room service pizza was rubbish - really bad. Nothing else to say, but TA wants more blah blah to hit 200 characters. Why??

First time staying at the JW Marriott in Kuala Lumpur and it will not be the last. Had visited KL back in 2022 and stayed at the St Regis and Westin, but must say the JW was much nicer. The location is great being right across the street from the Pavilion Shopping Mall and a reasonable walk to the Petronas Towers. The property itself is first rate and the staff are extremely professional and gracious. As Bonvoy Elite members we were invited to check in at the Executive Lounge where the incredible team there took care of all the formalities. The Lounge was a great place to unwind, have a quiet breakfast as well as an evening drink and light dinner. We were fortunate to be upgraded to a suite, which we really appreciated. Everything in the suite was well maintained, first class and the bed and pillows were amazing!! The hotel's spa area was also wonderful and we used the sauna, steam room and hot tub. While we did not experience all of the hotel's restaurants, there are many to choose from and all looked of excellent quality. The thing that really stood out for us were the employees at this property, specifically Sarah at the Executive Lounge among many others. Sarah went out of her way to make sure our requests were handled quickly and graciously. We would absolutely stay at the JW Marriott again without hesitation on our next visit!!

Lovely stay at JW Marriott KL with family! Hold sized room and very good location - near to many malls and central enough that going elsewhere in KL is very convenient! The hotel also has amazing facilities including a nice pool, cushioned sun beds, a sauna, steam room, jacuzzi and even a cold plunge pool. Also a wide variety of food at the breakfast buffet and very sweet housekeeping team! A special shoutout to Sanjiv (I believe he is Duty Manager) for his excellent service and hospitality!
