This is my 3rd or 4th time staying in this hotel but this time, the experience hasn’t been as good as before. When I came back to my room at about 8pm, I realised my room door was unlocked. The door was slightly ajar and not closed properly. I entered my room and spent the few minutes checking to make sure that nothing was stolen which thankfully, everything was in order. When I wanted to shower, I realise that there was no towels in the room so I suspect that the housekeeper kept the room door opened so that they can come back later to put in the towels which they forgot. Also the shower in the hotel has bottles of shampoo, shower gels and conditioner fixed to the wall but there are no stands or any area for guests to put their own toiletries so I had to put my own toiletries on the floor. What is more ironic is that the shower gel is not refilled so if I’m a guest who don’t have my own shower gel, I will be in trouble. The kettle that I used this morning was not cleaned as well and there is still some leftover water in the kettle and the disposable cups are not refilled. Someone definitely dropped the ball this time round. I hope the hotel can improve on this especially on the safety of the guests and make sure that the room door is closed.…

Very comfortable bed, as always for Marriott International (formerly known as Starwoods). Stayed in Aloft Malaysia to Dubai, the standards remain. Too sad my stay has been cut short due to unforeseen circumstances, but definitely will be back.

The service here sucks. I am currently staying at this hotel (not check-out yet). The shower gel is emptied in the morning, and I assumed that it would get refilled when I get back to the room in the evening. However, that's not the case. The worst case is that I am so tired and trying to call the hotel using the phone in the room and I keep calling for more than half an hour and there is nobody picking up the call. I go down to the hotel lobby personally and told the guy at the check-in counter about the shower gel replacement and told him that I have been calling for half an hour, but nobody is answering the calls. The response I get from him is that "No, our phone is not ringing". I asked how I can contact the hotel and he said to press "0". Told him that I have been pressing "0" but nobody is answering the call. Separately, he will get housekeeping to refill the shower gel immediately. After waiting for 5 minutes, nobody turns up and I try to call again, same old thing, nobody is answering the call. This round, when I go down, he told me that operator has off work and it was not going to work if I press "0" and I need to press "1156" which is not stated anywhere on the phone or either any instruction in the room. And when I tell him the housekeeping guy is not coming and I need the shower gel to be replace immediately. The response I get is "you only can wait, that's not my job and I can't do anything."…

Love their beds, still can get the most comfortable rest in their hotel. However, it is starting to show its age, there was no sofa in my room, and you need to wait a while before housekeeping comes by to clean the room or to throw your rubbish. Great location, and ideally situated. I only return for the bed really.

Pros: Location Room Size Cons: Terrible service - everyone is slow, tardy, needed reminders. Starting from front desk to restaurant Breakfast buffet was completely unimpressive and a total wastage of money. 3 days that i stayed i barely ate anything. The seating is congested and food variety was limited. I also had an issue with the basic hygiene as the plc was very crammed. Worst was there coffee machines wud run out of service every now and then and nobody was around to fix it and needed reminders - terrible to have that wen u are rushing to get to work. I would be staying here the next time for sure

Oct2022. This is the cheaper range of Marriott but it is surprisingly good. Smooth check-in. Good room. It is located in the centre of Kuala Lumpur city just next to KL Sentral (connected via upstairs walkway). Extremely easy access to LRT, Monorail and KTM Intercity trains. Very central, friendly staff, commended to the NU central Mall level 1. Oh the mall opens and closes at 10pm. It’s also connected to the NU central train so you can catch that train from the main KL international airport arrival. Food is lovely and the room view is pretty cool. You get to see those city lights at night. You also have to try their view from roof especially the sunrise! Very beautiful Overall, i enjoyed my stay. Use Grab (the app) when wanting to catch a cab or have food delivered to the hotel.

Friendly front desk, efficient checked in process. Loved the room the give to us. Will definitely comeback. Breakfast buffet was amazing and loved the pool and xwz bar. The hotel located in Kl sentral. All staff were friendly, we had enjoy our stay here.
