The Maple Suite is okay but could be a lot more.

The suite is spacious with 2 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, kitchen, office and laundry. The beds are comfortable too. Good location. But that's about it for the positive comments.

negative comments - no wifi, furniture old and grubby, doors.floors, ceilings in bathrooms dirty and falling apart, kettle and cups but no tea/coffee provided, barely any water pressure in the showers, TV not correctly tuned, etc. etc.

We knew it would not be that flash and it certainly wasn't. Wouldn't return and wouldn't recommend.

The Good: service esp from the elderly doorman and cleaning staff; the roominess of the apartments as we had family of 5 teens; location as walking distance of KLCC and Bukit Bintang but a little hot at this time of year; markets for dinner nearby;gym has adequate weights; pool ok better for older children; we ordered driver to airport-he was cheap and v friendly-perhaps book him when you book hotel; I noticed there was a small playground for young children. The bad: expensive WiFi-in a place like KL? The eatery-don't bother. There is plenty to buy or cook your own. But there was no cleaning fluids etc. I wouldn't go walking around the place at night alone as there are some dark spots with vacant lots around. The ugly: décor! It is dated. Everyone else has said the same. But if ugliness doesn't bother you so much, this is fine.

Check in was efficient with friendly staff who spoke good English.
The hotel was in a good location and within walking distance of the Petronas Towers.
We felt that this hotel could be a fabulous hotel but was in need of some renovation.
Our room was also unclean and a little tired, the toilets all definitely needed a good clean.
The room itself was a very good size and ideal for a family with 2 children. The beds were comfortable and we had a good nights sleep.
The pool was good though the children's playground was tiny corner within the pool area.
I wouldn't stay here again and was pleased that we were only staying here one night.
Such a shame as this place could be so great, maybe it once was?

Title says it all...this place is terrible, our room is filthy...even after requesting new bed covers to replace the stained one that confronted us. We are currently trying to get the last 2 nights refunded, of 3, full payment was taken at check in and both the hotel and booking.com have not given us much hope of a refund...we are trapped...a very disappointing end to fantastic month long trip through Asia. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy, stayed at Swiss Garden residences at the start of our trip it cost us an extra $20 AUD to stay at top notch, clean hotel with helpful staff and breakfast included. Dont know how many stars this dump claims to have but it clearly has not been reviewed in a very long time. Bedding stained, couches stained, walls filthy, no breakfast included, extremely un-helpful staff who just dont care. Took our money and when we complained laughed in our faces. DO NOT STAY HERE.

Booked the 2 bedroom apartment and it was big, spacious, and comfortable stay for our family. Location is quite accessible to all the shopping spots, just a 5 mins drive or you can take a free bus from the bustop which is located just opposite the hotel. Staffs were helpful and friendly, there was an indoor pool and playground for kids. Rooms were clean despite being a little dated. It was good enough for the amount we paid, will definitely be back.

We stayed in a 2 bed apartment Room 1207 for 6 nights. Reception was welcoming but first impressions didn't last long.
Although the rooms were large, they were very dated; spider pupae in corner of walls, old green silicone, dirty floors under furniture, dirty furniture. The kitchen was worse with dirty cupboards & dishes, dirty kettle (the inside was awful), plus no complimentary tea or coffee that would normally be provided. Our front door lock was broken & unsecured, they failed to fix it.
The small room safe is NOT fixed to anything & we were able to pick it up!!!
The daytime receptionist was very unhelpful but with a smile. On the 3 separate occasions that I asked her to call a cab, she told me to wait 10 minutes and after that told me she couldn't order, thus delaying our departure.
One day I requested 2 extra beds for guests that night & we agreed a time for them to be placed, but she failed that too...... my neices slept on the sofas without bedding!
The pool is a bonus, but the slate floor is unsealed & black residue gets onto the furniture & into the pool. The children's play area gate (by deep end of pool) does not lock & they can easily drop into pool. The play area was also dirty & wet as the ceiling above was leaking & is a hazard.
** No downstairs laundry as advertised on their booking site**

The company booked me in here for two months while I stayed in KL. I read reviews before I went but decided to go with an open mind. After all, my apartment in Glasgow doesn't have a swimming pool...
At first sight, I liked it. It was spacious enough and from a distance seemed clean. Ha! How wrong could I be!? Day two I was introduced to the ants in my kitchen...
Six days of constant complaining and begging them to spray the anti- insect stuff... finally they moved me rooms.
I liked my new room- there were no ants to keep me company for starters. Cleanliness was still not up to my standards (and I still live like a student) but I had the most amazing view of Menara KL (KL Tower). This happiness was short lived as I found things broken and saw just how unclean the place was when I leaned on my balcony and came off with black arms.
The next major thing to go wrong was the lock on my room door. The card was not reading properly but after 10mins of trying it would finally work. Not good enough for me- I live on a schedule. Three days in a row I told them to fix it!
Day four, the staff saw my angry side. It was a stormy day so more hot and humid than usual and I couldn't get in for over FORTY MINUTES. Twice I had to go down to reception and get different keys... none of which worked. I had told them about this three days earlier so I was less then amused. THEN they had the cheek to turn to me and claim it was MY FAULT for double-locking the door. Think science, my readers, and tell me how a door will CLOSE if it has been double locked. That's right, it doesn't. It took that incident to make them fix the damn door.
I then started moaning about the uncleanliness which never ever improved during my stay despite my constant moaning.
The tip of the iceberg which proved to me their lack of respect was when I asked them to remove a cockroach I found in my room. This was 8am when I left for work and I was horrified to return to my apartment after midnight to find it still there. This to me shows complete and utter disrespect for me, the customer, and I am less than happy.
After that, they tried to put a bill onto me for having a friend stay over for a few days.
This is a BAD, BAD place- filthy, unhelpful staff and TOTAL disrespect.
AVOID!!!!!

The Maple Suite in Changkat Raja Chulan used my credit card details from a previous transaction to debit it with RM25,000++ after I had left Malaysia to live in the UK. I rang them to sort it out but they wouldn't speak to me!!! What a surprise, it is now in the hands of the bank.

was put up at maple suite for a month-long contract in KL. agree with some previous reviews that the service staff seems eager to help but are often inept when it comes to actually fixing problems.

as a space, the units are spacious and clean, the beds are comfortable and i didn't have any problems with the appliances on hand. the location is also alright - central, close to china town, many tourist sights and good food and nightlife.

the main issue with my stay was an overpriced (about $60 US), dodgy internet connection - not recommended if you're staying at maple. find a cafe or bar with a free connection and save yourself the headache.

i'd never stay here on my own - too expensive and more space than i need when traveling solo - but if your business is putting you up here, you could do a lot worse.
