From arrival the outside paint was peeling from the side of the building the sounding well was like a war zone. We were taken to our rooms well as soon as we opened the door you could smell the damp mould was coming up the walls wall paper was peeling off the wall.. the only redeeming factor was the receptionist was very helpful and apologetic. Our rooms were definitely not superior.. nothing like the photos
We stayed in Marilyn Monroe theme suite for a night. The room comes with open concept bathroom (with sexy bathtub) & equipped with safety box too. The hotel is strategically located within city centre, 10 mins walking distance to Berjaya Times Square; with designated car park for hotel guest beside the alley. Breakfast is ok with variety of selection & menu to choose from. Unfortunately, the male concierge staff onduty that day seems not really friendly (first impression gone), staffs who are working in hotel restaurant are attentive & friendly though. The hotel seems a little under maintenance for the room we're staying in; torn wallpaper, loose sanitary fitting, loose window handle & poor quality bedsheets. Not to mentioned poor wall partition, we can literally listen to conversation next to our room; hotel guests banging door & walking along the corridor at midnight. Overall it was a fun experience for us, with its location, breakfast portion & equipped bathtub in the themed room, really great values of money!!…
A worth while staying hotel. It gets noisy at nite but overall its a nice place. Friendly housekeeping and front office staffs. Restaurant food worthwhile to a try. Near and walking distance to mall and monorail station.
The location of the hotel is a bit hard to be find but the price they offer is very good. It is also very clean. The hotel is a great place to stay if you plan to visit the Bukit Bintang area. A short walk and you can reach the main area. Great hotel and I would recommend it!
The place is good. The staff very friendly and kind. The room also clean and suitable with their price. I booked for 3days 2nights because of personal issue. And i very enjoy stay at there because of their surrounding and kind of their staff
The rooms were large and comfortable, staff were friendly and helpful. I wanted something that offered me a full room at an affordable price, and this delivered. Location was pretty convenient to the center of the city, as well - overall, thoroughly enjoyed.
Receptionist is not efficient and so slow doing her job. When we were arrived, there are only two guests but it tooks 30 minutes to check in and the way she talked so unpleasant. For the second day, we asked them to make up the room and change the bed sheet .. When we came back to the room at night we found that they never changed the back sheet cause the stain from last night still there. When we called them to ask she said they alrdy chnge.. But we told them abt the stain and she answered "how do i know, it is not my job, i only receptionist, the housekeeping already back, i will tell them tomorrow".. Hw cn she said like that... We so upset! *room was ok n nice
We booked the Greystone Boutique (formerly Maison) because of its quirky decor. We had the Star Wars room which was lots of fun. It's a little odd there were no windows (appreciate that we had mock windows looking out until planets), but as someone who likes to wake up to natural light it was a bit strange. Saying that, the stay was comfortable, the room clean and the location was great - we know that area quite well though so it wasn't hard to walk to the malls on Bukit Bintang. The rooms are a little noisy, but that didn't affect our stay. Breakfast is made up order which can be slow on busy mornings, but the staff are lovely and we were very happy with our booking.
Hotel has a new name - Greystone Boutique Hotel. Our room decor had a huge poster of Elvis above the bed, and a guitar slung at a side wall. The room is small, but cosy. So too is the bathroom. Toiletries included a large bottle of shampoo and shower gel, so you can't take these home. The hotel is quite hard to get to as it's sited in a narrow side street amongst old printing shops and kopitiams. Best landmark nearby is the Furama Hotel. It's not too far from Times Square, and you can walk there if you know the way through the side streets. We stayed only 1 night so did not interact much with the staff. The front office staff is friendly and so check-in and check-out is quite fast. However, if there are many guests checking in at the same time, then it can be a long wait. Breakfast is for you to select from a limited menu, but the portion is large. All in, a small boutique hotel that's cosy, and away from the bustle of Bukit Bintang…
Hotel itself is quite basic, looking prettier on the pictures than in reality. Rooms are clean, but the lighting inside is very bad. Location could be better. Options for breakfast are very limited, basically just eggs, beans and toast. On the other hand, staff in hotel and restaurant is very nice, polite and willing to help.
