I stayed a total of four nights at this hotel, September 2016. The people at the front desk were helpful and spoke English fairly well. The hotel requires a serious revamp / renovation as it is really run down sadly. The rooms and especially the bathroom was in terrible condition. The shuttle service was one way only to the city,... Hotel is really old and requires a revamp. Showers were old and dirty to the point that I could not use them. carpets were old, torn and stained. The shuttle service was really useful when getting to major points. WiFi could only be used on the ground floor, the signal was too weak up stairs. Staff at the front desk... More

We stayed at Hotel Maluri for two weeks. The area: Although this is not loudest or brightest part of Kuala Lumpur, Maluri area is not far from the Kuala Lumpur Triangle. Travel time depends on the traffic. It took us 10 minutes to the Pavillion or KLCC and 30 min to Mid Valley mall - without the traffic jam. The... More

Old-designed hotel, breakfast was good with fair choices, family suite was spacious but the aircond was old, bath tub was stained, walkway was a bit warm, nice pool, average staff. Booked thru booking.com, the check in was smooth, complimentary carpark only for 1 car, guest car rm5/entry,

For the price of this hotel and in the location that the hotel is in, this is a good option. As others have noted, the hotel is located in the Taman Maluri section of Kuala Lumpur, which is arguably not near any major attractions. It is close to a shopping center (Aeon/Jusco), and has many options for eating near by,... More

I really liked the area the hotel was in as there are numerous late night hawker centres open till past midnight and 24 hour stores and it feels safe to walk around the area at night. The reception staff were excellent and breakfast pretty good for Malaysia too. Room was large which was nice and free parking for hotel guests.... More

Our check in was a breeze. The receptionist was friendly and most helpful. The wifi in the room was good. Sometimes it will drop out but will auto connect. Just ask for extra wifi password upon check in if you have more than one device. Room ammeities is more than sufficient considering the room rate we paid. We had a... More
