I would like to share my impressions of my stay at the Traders Hotel in Kuala Lampur.
From the very entrance you are greeted by the pleasant freshness of the hotel and a comfortable temperature for your stay. There is no reception at the entrance to the hotel; it is located on the ground floor (1 floor above the entrance). You need to be prepared that there may be a line at the reception; we waited about 15 minutes for them to start checking us in. I would like to note that it was Chinese New Year, and perhaps at another time of stay this situation would not exist. But the staff at the reception are very good, they processed everything quickly and gave all the necessary information.
When we checked in, we saw that we had 2 separate beds, but after calling the reception, an employee came in a couple of minutes, made everything for us and brought us what we needed (I think this is a very good service) and we didn’t have to wait.
We also used the laundry service at this hotel, but there was a nuance here: I had to call and remind about the things myself, and before receiving the things, they asked me to pay the bill, which was also not very convenient, but this is a nuance that does not spoil the stay itself) If anything, this service at the hotel is quite expensive, but the entire price list is indicated on the invoice when you fill it out to return your items.
As for the breakfasts (we had them included), they were varied, but the quality was not first-class in everything; a couple of times there were scrambled eggs that were burnt and oily (but I personally saw that it was cooked by an intern, so I wasn’t too upset about that)
But the biggest plus is the incredibly beautiful and first-class restaurant (with views) and there is excellent service, attentive staff, and incredibly delicious food! I highly recommend visiting.
Also on the 33rd floor there is a swimming pool overlooking the towers, it is closed but panoramic, there is also a bar, which in the evening becomes a very atmospheric place)
The location itself is certainly very convenient, it couldn’t be more central) the towers are 5 minutes away and, most importantly, you can walk to them along the cool corridor of the business center (when in a metropolis +36 is a lifesaver)
The room was cleaned daily, and the room service was high quality.
It’s worth considering that there are no Russians here at all, we didn’t meet them at the hotel in 4 days) this is a huge plus for us, we really liked it ☺️
Therefore, if you want to be close to the center and all the most interesting things, but also get good service, then I definitely recommend it)
Thank you)

This hotel has got it all. Unbeatable views of the twin towers Fantastic staff who all go above and beyond to make your stay extra special Ultra clean rooms with excellent facilities And first class food Location is fantastic you can enjoy the quick complimentary buggy service to KLCC and the towers if you wish or never even step outside in the heat or the thunderstorms when they arrive if you don’t want to and use the undercover air conditioned walkway for the 10 minute or so walk to Suria Klcc. This same undercover walkway will also take you to Bukit Bintang shopping pavilion and area. We had the Traders club towers view room and the view of the towers is breathtaking along with the views over the park and the water fountain show. That along with the other club perks such as your own club room in which to enjoy the views along with your breakfast, complimentary soft drinks throughout the day with snacks and a 2 hour cocktail “hour” in the evening makes for a great stay Thankyou Traders along with your wonderful staff, for an unforgettable stay.

Visited October 2023. Purchased a SIM card at the airport and downloaded the grab app which made getting cabs or food very easy (like Uber).
Check in - was little slow but a few guests before us and only 2 members of staff on. Offered soft drinks and seating whilst we waited so wasn’t too bad. Paid £100 GBP cash as a deposit (returned to me the same way end of stay) and no card hold was required. Tom helped us check in and was very efficient.
Room was very nice and high up offering fantastic views of the city!! Great lighting and amenities expected from Traders.
Buggy service available to and from the mall once you scan the QR code placed outside the side of the hotel and one outside the mall to request buggy service. Sometimes they took a while to attend so just ring reception to prompt them. Or you can walk (outside or via the tunnel) which is about 5 - 10 mins and a nice stroll to the mall.
Coffee shop beside traders hotel offering hot and cold beverages at decent price.
The mall itself has everything one needs and has a great food hall. Fast food is different from UK and has a wide variety from authentic Malay cuisine to BBQ’d food right there in the mall!
Sky bar was amazing and we frequently had evening food and drinks poolside overlooking the city at night offered some spectacular views. The seated pods near window can be booked via the reception upon entering sky bar.
Excursions we booked via Kloot which were very professional and competitive. All day excursions takes you around the city with 18 points of interest and private driver Inc.
I woukd definitely recommend this hotel for its hospitality and centralised location - booking a room with city view is a must!

We stayed in an Executive Twin Towers View Room (#1323) and had a very pleasant stay. You are staying at this hotel for the view, and it did not disappoint! I would definitely recommend paying the small amount extra it costs per night to upgrade from the Deluxe Twin Towers View Room to the Executive Twin Towers View Room , because then your bed faces the window and so you can enjoy the view of the Twin Towers from your bed!
The bathroom was very spacious as well, and you had the luxury of having both a shower and a bathtub.
The only issue we had was with a faulty light fitting. It wasn't resolved whilst we were there, but the hotel does have good communication channels in order to fix issues (there is a whatsapp channel in addition to the option of phoning reception).
The free shuttlebus between the hotel and the shopping centre at the base of the Petronas Towers was a great addition to the hotel's services as well, given how hot it was in Kuala Lumpur. The journey only took 2-3 minutes, although you do have to wait, on occasion, for the shuttle bus to arrive.
My only criticism is that the breakfast offered by the hotel is too expensive and we did not purchase it. Instead we took the shuttle to the shopping centre and we ate at the food court.
I definitely recommend Traders Hotel. It is excellent value for money for the room, and the view is breathtaking.

Traders Hotel is a perfect base for exploring surrounding restaurants/bars, Suria KLCC and the city. A tunnel in the KLCC allows closer destinations to be reached coolly and dry. We will stay here again. Unfortunately, the Skybar disappointed: it played too loud hip-hop music all evening. Boring over time, no change. So it was hard to talk. But the temperature and ventilation were good.

The Traders hotel is advertising its fully refurbished club-rooms, so we had great expectations to revisit Traders in KL. At first, we got a club-room with an in-between door which are very noisy if both rooms are occupied, we had a bad experience before. So, we requested a new room without one, which we promptly got. This room was also much cleaner than the first one, but both look very naked as nothing on the walls or some other art. Part is still very old and most is indeed new and refurbished (no more carpet) The club lounge has been refurbished too and looks much more modern. Food and drinks are improved too, so it is worth it to get a club room. But our biggest problem and disappointment leading to very mixed feelings after initially good feelings about our stay, is the block on credit card not being released when you pay your room in full! Even after complaining dearly about this that they hold on to 2,300.00 RM after paying them almost 2,000.00 RM is completely ridiculous. It will take 2 weeks to unblock?!? Never ever I have experienced this at any hotel stay in the last 40 years! So, be very careful to allow them to put a block on your CC for room charges despite they say at check in and out they will release it, but they don't. Sorry to say but this is very bad practice to A nit tell you this and B not release it upon payment of all charges.

My younger brother and I stayed here recently for Comic Fiesta 2024. We picked this location as it was right on top of the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre though the price point was on a higher side than our other choices.
To our pleasant surprise, we were upgraded from our initial choice of a Deluxe Garden View Room to a Deluxe Twin Tower View Room free of charge. We were quite happy with our room as overall, the room itself was a good looking room that was perfect for our needs with an amazing view and all the necessary amenities. A neat bonus was that they had USB-C plug points available for charging modern smartphones without needing to plug in a charger or adapter.
Due to its proximity to Suria KLCC mall as well, we were able to walk to and fro from the mall without issue for food and shopping (and likely with even more ease if it were not for the Comic Fiesta crowd). Parking was complimentary as well so having parked our car for 2 nights, we were pleased to see that we were not charged for parking once we spoke to the concierge once we checked out.
We were also aware that there is a buggy service that would allow people staying at the hotel to go to and fro from the hotel to KLCC and back again though it was not running during Comic Fiesta.
Aside from some minor nitpicks (the shower not being enclosed due to the door's design, boiled tap water having a weird taste [resolved by simply using water from the dispenser in the hallway], the blankets not thick enough to handle the strong air-conditioning, breakfast not being complementary etc.), the sheer convenience and locality left my brother and I very satisfied with our stay.
If we were to go to Comic Fiesta next year, we will definitely consider staying at the Traders Hotel again.

Absolutely top pick if you want to be in the centre of the City. 5 min walk to Petronas towers and the Surai KLCC mall is under the towers. Traders have good food, both continental breakfasts and ala cart and or buffet dinners(pending on the week days and weekends). Clean rooms and friendly staff, security and concierge. Sky bar is lovely, but make sure you book a table beside the windows for a great unrestricted view, although the tables beside the bar and swimming pool has still got good views. They have complimentary bottles of water and also filtered water dispensers on each floor. I had a king bed suite overlooking the petronas towers and the water works at night in front of the mall. I would certainly recommend and personally stay here again and get the tower view again. Thank you to all the staff for making this a great stay.

Always my choice hotel if I'm attending an event at KLCC as it's most convenient being connected to it. And through the convention centre, an underpass leads one to Suria KLCC shopping mall which has more than enough shops, services and F&B options.
Got upgraded to the Club floor (though without Club privileges) with a spectacular view of the twin towers. The room is spacious, almost good for 3 persons. It has a connecting door option to the room next door, a feature that's not as common these days in newer hotels. The bathroom is also very spacious with both a tub and standing shower with all amenities provided. The bed is firm and comfy. Service was excellent from concierge to front desk. I love that they've implemented a Whatsapp service desk where I received a message prompt on Whatsapp once I got to the room, offering assistance at the fingertips.
There's a rooftop bar that also boasts views of the Twin Towers, and that's also where the pool is. A rather small one that's partially open where rain falls through the ceiling on one side.
Staff are very friendly from front desk to concierge to security. The security staff also takes the initiative to press for the lift once they see you walking towards it.

We visited The Traders hotel from the 25/06 till the 01/07. From the moment we set foot in the Traders we were met by Idris who accompanied us for check in. He was great and showed so much flair when he explained to us all the facilities. However, we must not leave out the staff in the club area on level 32. Truly courteous and always with a smile. Even the security people were so helpful. We definitely recommend this hotel in so many ways, location, hospitality, cleanliness and most of all when you are miles away from home you drop your bags in a foreign place but yet you feel that it's a home away from home. Thank you Traders keep up the great work and above all Shangri-la has always lived up to their name of great hospitality and standards. Thanks once again Antoinette & Paul Cortis Malta

There is a designated smoking area on the left side of the main entrance when you exit the hotel.
Klcc park is a none smoking park. You will be fine for smoking there, if caught
Hi breakfast buffet in the morning is served between 6.30 and 10 30?.cost is around 140 metres which is around 14 pounds in English. Traders can hold your bags there for you no charge till your room becomes available.first I would recommend a grab cab out of kl airport less hassle. It takes around a hour to get to traders.i always pay in advance for a direct transfer by car.this really works for me!!.carol United kingdom
