Detailed Reviews
We spent three nights here celebrating my daughters 21st birthday. We opted for a club room which is well worth the extra, you can have your breakfast in the club lounge which has just as good a selection of food as the main dinning area but on a smaller set up scale and also has a live cooking station as well with a lovely friendly chef, it's much calmer than the main dinning area which does get very busy and loud. Also in the Club room you have expresso and other real coffee options and herbal teas, only mentioning this as they are extra charges for these in the main buffet breakfast service. There is also an afternoon tea with food available around three I think and best of all free flowing drinks and snacks from 5 or 5,30 to 7.30pm. The staff in the club lounge are really friendly. The rooms are large as are the bathrooms and the beds extremely comfortable. The hotel and our rooms were spotless. There is a very nice bar which is partially open and has live music and the swimming pool while not huge is really lovely and a great way to beat the heat and humidity of KL and take in the view from it's elevated setting. he location is fabulous, just a few minutes walk really to the Patronas Towers crossing over the roads and walking through the park, and a little longer taking the sky walk and underpass network which will keep you cool in the heat and dry in the rain to get to this iconic landmark. The sky walkway will also connect you to the shopping malls and other destinations around KL, this is a super impressive way to get around the city and all accessible from right outside the hotel... in fact you don't need to go outside as the hotel has direct internal access to it! we had a room with a partial view of the Towers which was fantastic. What was also really fantastic was the Sales and Marketing lady Maya who made sure our daughters 21st was special. We came back to a beautifully decorated room and a cake that a friend had arranged to have left in the room. Petals on the bed and happy birthday decorations spread across the room and an elephant sculptured out of towels .... all made my daughters day truly memorable .

I was here for 3 nights and asked for a quiet room: they gave me a room on the floor below the restaurant where a live band plays in the evening and i could hear the music very loud. I asked for a different room, they gave me one that stunk of cigarette and had to go to reception again. Third time lucky, although there was no apology from the reception staff who even seemed quite bothered about my request. On a bright side the location is really good and the restaurant on the 15th floor serves great food with a great view.

I treated myself to one night in the Impiana as I had booked a spa package at the Swasana Spa, and wished I could have stayed longer. My bedroom was large and spacious with wonderful views of the city skyline, I loved the waterfall shower in the bathroom, supersoft towels and flatbed tv. Breakfast was included in the price and included a wide range of local and international dishes. The location of the hotel in KLCC is excellent, and linked to the Pavilion-KLCC walkway. Wonderful in every way.

Stayed for 3 nights and hands down was one of the worst experiences I’ve had for a long long while. For a 4-star hotel, everything about this hotel is worthy of 1/5 stars.
Room: old and poorly maintained. First room provided reeked of cigarette smoke. Second room provided was dusty and musty. My sinuses were clogged just after 2 hours of being in the room.
Housekeeping: the housekeeping button wasn’t working and so room wasn’t cleaned on the first day. ( which was fine since I was staying alone and didn’t need much tidying up ). Second day however they came and cleaned the room and took the card that was in the keycard holder. First time I’ve experienced this. Never have I ever had a time where housekeeping actually took the keycard. In any case, the room was tidied up but the bottled water wasn’t replaced.
Food: breakfast was pathetic. Variety was mediocre and quality and taste of the food was worse than some 2 star hotels. Even something as simple as fried ikan bilis can be chewy, hard and stale.
Parking: For a hotel catering to more than 400 guests, they only had 100+ car parks available. Unless asked, you would have to figure out the parking yourself once their hotel parking is full. And even after asking, the directions given to park near the Mandarin Oriental hotel were extremely vague ( since there were 2 outdoor parking lots ) and you had to park your car far away and walk all the way back to the hotel. The least they could have offered was a valet service but instead, they just left the guests to fend for themselves.
Their only saving grace is their location but even then there are many other better hotels with similar prices around the area.

The good - The service is impeccable in this place. Staff cannot do enough for you.
The rooms are huge with all amenities needed. Amazing location with easy access to twin towers. Good breakfast. Free apples. Safe & secure.
The bad - rooms maybe need sprucing up slightly. Tiles in bathroom regrouted with fresh sealent for instance as mine were a little grubby. Pool area is very small for hotel of this size with few beds. There appears to be only a small gap throughout the day where the pool area receives any sun. I visited in February and there is no morning sun on the pool area and the sun goes behind buildings around 4.30pm.
All in all, good hotel, slightly dated.

Booked a Club Room on the 24th floor. Checked in on the 15th Floor was a breeze with Daniel who was at the desk. Daniel has such a pleasant and warm personality that he makes us feel so warm and homely here. Always accommodating to our needs and chatty,Daniel has showed some perfect honest and sincere customer service throughout our stay. Tracy one of the staff at the Club Lounge is also one of the staff that greets and try to make small talks with us. These two people has made our stay a really great one yet here. The Club Benefits allows you to have Breakfast 6.30am-10.30am,Tea Time 3pm-5pm and Cocktail Time 5.30pm-7.30pm all at the 15th Floor Club Lounge. Food are great and we appreciate the afternoon tea after a long morning walk. Had breakfast at Tonka Beans downstairs on our second day but was too crowded and the managers and staffs were not as smiley and friendly compared to the Club Lounge. The coffee downstairs was merely hot plain water with a drop of coffee and i couldnt even drink it. As i had placed the coffee in my reuseable cup,i had told one of the supervisor to help me disposed it,but before even listening to me,she had assumed i had wanted to bring it out with me and had told me that the coffee is chargeable. A really bad call to assumed what customers want before even listening. So we decided to have our breakfast at the Club Lounge for the next 4days.

We stayed here for 3 nights over New Year 2019 and had 2 deluxe rooms. I haven't been able to identify the difference between deluxe and superior rooms other than cost. Great breakfast but get down there early (before 9) as it gets very busy and difficult to get a table. Good selection of all sorts of food and great egg stations. Room was big and spacious and the bed was comfortable, sometimes however housekeeping didn't come in until quite late in the day. It's a big hotel and the wait for lifts is sometimes long.
Nice pool though not enough beds/chairs and tables around. We booked to spend new year at the poolside. Good job we got there before the 10.00 start as there weren't enough tables, they kept the sunbeds there - goodness knows why. It would have been sensible to remove these and put chairs and tables in. Great view of the Patronas towers from the poolside and from our room. The staff were great on New Years eve but took a lot of grief from people who had reserved a place at the pool party but there was no-where for them to sit. The poor staff just seemed to have been left to it until eventually a Manager arrived, but there were no more tables and chairs so many residents were very unhappy. Luckily we did have a table and the view of the fireworks was brilliant.
It's quite a long way to the nearest train station and it's so hot, its difficult to walk too far so we used a lot of taxis which were a fair price. Great location if you want to walk to the PETRONAS towers (get your tickets in advance as they sell out really quickly) and lots of shopping malls around. Go to the Batu Caves by taxi, it's well worth the journey but go early in the morning, we went at 7.30.
Bank and ATM just round the corner which is handy and great bars just at the back of the hotel.
