Had a great time at Izumi. Started out with a very small budget room that I upgraded to a much bigger one. The staff showed me several room options which I appreciated. Location can't be beat. All the restaurants and bars were close by as was mass transit. Staff was very friendly.

It’s not the last update and brand new hotel in town but definitely still a very acceptable and great value for money! Rooms are clean, provide all necessary basics including hair dryer, safe as well hot and cold water dispenser and bathroom amenities including dental kit. Hot water and great pressure too! Front office team is polite and was extremely kind to allow me to check-in at 11am which has been greatly appreciated it and thank you so much for it! Definitely recommend it in its category!

This is not a 3 star hotel. It was a terrible experience. I booked a deluxe room to stay 9 nights. 1.We arrived at noon and the staff told us after making payments to wait until 3pm for checkin. So there is no lounge and we had to wait outside. 2. Once we got our room at 3pm, there were hairs on pillow and on the bed. I immediately called them to get new bedsheet and pillow. 3. 5mins after, a cleaning guy came, and i stayed in the room. While removing the bed sheet, i saw more hairs on the matress. I had to tell him to bring the vaccum. The guy did his job and went. 4. I was not satisfied with the cleanliness. The room was still dirty, telephone was never cleaned, the last time room was painted, paint fell on the drawer was let to dry, curtain was so old and smelly. 5. 10 mins later i called at the reception and asked for a full refund. 6. I took my luggage with my wife and walked towards berjaya to find a better hotel. It was a tough experience after a flight. My wife was about to cry. 7. We found Metro hotel, and the price was like 1500ringgit for 9 nights, only 200 ringitt higher but totally worth it. Please if you want cleanliness never book izumi, book a different hotel. If you are in KL, make sure to have a look by yourself and visit Izumi hotel. I hope nobody faced the same situation we had.

The hotel staff so friendly, with complete amenities soap, shampoo, 2 bottle of water, instant coffee. I book the superior room with city view. I stay here for 5 night and when i back at hotel the room already tidy. the air conditioner, hot water/shower work well. The hotel also well-maintained, no smell all furniture in good condition. the location very strategic you can find 24 hours restaurant or shop. Near to Go KL bus Stop, Air Asia Bukit Bintang monorail station, also Near to MRT and Hop On Hop Off Bus. Near to Pavilion Mall and other Shopping Center.

I book this hotel for family trip for long stay (4 days and 2 rooms). They don't giving us information about contructions beside their hotel. If i know that, I never choose this hotel. I can't sleep during stay here.. very noisy and dusty. The facility very poor. I think this hotel like 1star hotel instead of 3star. I was stay here for once and i'm not coming back here again! Really dissapointed. And also they don't have DUTY MANAGER incharge during night. The FDA Staff not helpful.

I stayed one night on Aug 17. I was assigned in room 312. Room is small but all basic facilities functions properly (ac, water heater, hairdryer - all ok, room also not smelly, clean - bed sheet, towel & toilet). This room is located exactly beside the construction sites so it was very noisy. Further more, I could hear the noise from nearby club in distance. That night if i was not wrongly remember, the construction site only stopped working at 11pm and started again next morning at 8am. Luckily i was not a light sleeper so i could sleep well, but the bed actually not so good, if your back are sensitive then u might feel not comfortable (back aching) in the morning. Pro : + Strategic location for tourists + Hotel provide dispenser for drinking water (unlimited free drinking water) Cons : - Noise disturbance Tips: * Room 407 is good for light sleeper, toilet size is bigger * No need to buy bottle water (Water drinking dispenser is provided in each floor - located nearby the lift)

I booked this hotel as it’s near the train station, and it was just a non expensive overnight stay having landed late from the UK. Had to move rooms as the first room they gave me stunk of cigarettes..the whole floor did...avoid the 5th floor. The second room was vaguely better but still had a smokey smell. When I asked to move the staff half laughed as they knew the fifth floor was smelly. I had requested a non smoking room so it wasn’t great that they put me in the smelly room. The rooms are tiny and don’t look as nice as the pictures do. My toilet screamed each time I flushed it and the plumbing is really noisy. When you get there there was signs up stating there were renovations happening and sorry about the noise (FYI there is no reference to it on their website so not on really). I asked if it was going to be noisy and the staff laughed in my face saying no I had a windowless room so I wouldn’t hear anything. The drilling started at 7.30/8am and trust me you can hear it! Not great when your still on UK time so to me it was 1am. You get what you pay for with a small basic room as it was cheap butter drilling, noisy plumbing and cigarette stench makes me say avoid this hotel. There’s better nicer ones nearby. Go to MOV. It’s 2 mins away and a lot nicer. It’s more 2 star than 3.

We stayed as a couple for 5 nights but we regret booking this place. From the moment we entered we didn't feel welcomed. The reception staff was not friendly and didn't see a smile on their face at least once during the whole stay. The staff needs to improve their communication skills as they were very rude and aggressive. We had to repeat 2 or 3 times the same thing for them to understand. They couldn’t understand sentences like “Who is the manager here?” Surprisingly the Reception staff said that there is no Manager at the hotel and that person visits other hotels, but not this one! Shocking! The rooms were very much average with a small washroom. We could hear people talking outside while we were inside the room. The hotel needs to think more when they are accommodating people from the same group as they placed guests in rooms adjoining to our room (left side & right side) and it gave us a hard time. After complaining they moved us to a different room on a higher floor. We had a problem with the bidet spray in both rooms which was tight and hard to use. Since we complained about this in the night (around 8.30pm) only person who would attend to such calls was the Security Guard as there were no technician at that time! He tried fixing it, but no luck and the hotel staff never tried to fix it later. We checked out around 6AM on 11th April and the person who was at the reception was very much rude and not friendly at all. We made our booking through booking.com and when we were checking out we asked the reception person why there is a discrepancy between the confirmation amount on the printout and the amount that you have charged. The reply was “you check with booking.com, I don’t know”. This is not an acceptable reply to be given from a hotel staff to a guest! When we asked more and more questions they security person told us that the reception guy was new to the hotel – which I did not believe and even if it is true that’s an issue that they should resolve internally. The only plus point was the location of the hotel which was close to malls, shawarma places, bus stops, metro stations etc. Behind the hotel was a street full of pubs which was very much lively & packed in the weekend. Overall, I WOULD NOT recommend this place.
