FORGET about four and five stars ... I would give this hotel a GOLD MEDAL after our recent stay. I inadvertently left my wallet containing credit card, drivers' licence and cash in the hotel safe. I only found out when the hotel sent an urgent text which, unfortunately, I only read while waiting in Malaysia for a connecting flight to Australia. But I needn't have worried ... the wonderful staff at Sakmut Boutique Hotel pulled out all the stops and arranged to have everything forwarded to me at my home near Bundaberg in Queensland. My wallet arrived within a week. Sakmut had also arranged to forward the cash via Western Union Bank and I collected this from my local post office. Absolute wonderful service. Thanks a million to everyone at Sakmut.

The staff over the counter was friendly. Room was quite poorly lit. Can be quite noisy if its facing the main road. Very limited parking place. Only 4. Or else need to park somewhere with rm5. No water provided. Lots of prostitutes around

Very unpleasant experience. I arrived around 11pm, given a room on the fourth floor (room 4-2), the door card is not functioning, I had to go back to the counter and asked to re-issue the card. The room door has a hole on it! After enter the room, I noticed there were ants everywhere, on the wall, on the pillow and bed, on the tv set too! I wanted to call the front desk, but the phone set was not functioning, I have no choice but to pick up my luggage and went down once again to the counter to ask for room change. I was then given room on the third floor. I can smell strong cigarette odors from the corridor. the unpleasant smell in the room and pillow cases make me no choice but to cover it with towels! Room was dark, dirty stains on wall, broken shower room door knob and dirty ceiling. Booked for 3 nights, but stayed only 1 night. Checked out the next day! This hotel is terrible!

I have booked an executive room in this structure for two days. I got in late. The smell in the room was horrible like no one had been there for years. There was a broken lamp and a part of the wall/closet was broken too. The AC was strong, directed to the bed and the direction was not controllable, so I had to turn it off. On the next morning I took a shower without shampoo or shower gel that apparently were not provided. I asked them, they said yes and still not provided. The smell was awful, they tried to spray something that for a couple of hours gave the idea of a clean environment. The towels were old, I guess clean, but worn. The cleaning service came to my room around 4pm, they cleaned, there was a guy with long hair and I've found his hair all over the floor. On the next morning I found that a shirt was missing from my closet and informed the reception. They called the cleaning guy who denied and decided that no shirt was missing. But it was. This is a cheap hotel. But their most expensive room is a mess, dirty, and their cleaning guys steal. There's nothing of a boutique in this place.

These guys went out of the way to give me the best possible experience in Nepal - thanks so much everyone, especially Giri, you guys rock! Clean rooms, multiple wifi channels to chose from, excellent location, competitive pricing (they won’t rip you off here). Highly recommend, will come back again! See you next time 👌 👍

If you want a good value budget place to stay near Ikea Cheras, wont do much better than this. Only downside is that the promoted free parking is available but very limited. Counter staff were nice and helpful with being parking attendants though.

We stayed Sakura 14 nights. Really love the stay here and all staff are really nice and helpful. For room service we were asked to call just when ever we needed. The location of hotel is close by the bukit bingtan and all malls.

Good value for a last minute trip but parking is a very big frustration. A very normal complimentary breakfast available at the 3rd floor (highest floor). Staff was friendly and fast at processing and the security guard was rather helpful to help you to get a spot for parking
