There’s always good and bad things , this zoo was different to the zoo back at home in Australia. Different animals and you can get close to them but at a safe distance. Overall We enjoyed it , for the next visit with the kids I’ll bring them here.
We took a taxi from Bukit Bintang (RM 19) to the zoo which is about 30min travel time and situated near the highway. This place is very run down and looking old, most tanks in the Aquarium are that dirty you cannot see inside or empty. Animals look very sad and neglected, many animals caged on their own and looking depressed. One tiger kept walking 10ft one way then 10ft back constantly looking depressed. This zoo looks like they gave up on the maintenance 10yrs ago! Make arrangements for your return journey before getting here as there are no taxi ranks and we were advised to just wait by the highway and try flag a passing taxi down. There were a couple of taxi drivers, friends of the security guards who will offer you taxi for RM 50 back to Bukit Bintang, as I said the true cost should be RM 19. …
very big with nice variant types of animals beautiful panda and tigers very natural and amazing place you can feed elephants and ist very lovely sense amazing out of cage birds than you can feed them too...
The best attraction above all other animals is the Panda which is rare to see in any zoo. A well spread out zoo with animal shows and many animals in open enclosures. The entry fee per person was MYR.69. Be ready with the right walking shoes to walk around the place.
The zoo does not accept credit cards, toilets were stinky, animal show was all talk and in the local language. Can foreigners understand them? Poor variety of food, gave only 1 map for a family and there were hardly any trees to shade us from the scorching sun. The staff were really rude and unfriendly. They can hardly speak English and the signs were misleading - there was no reptile enclosure but in the map and around the zoo, the signs showed there was.
The zoo is spacious with many kinds of animals. The closure for giant panda is well designed. Visit can see the pandas at less than ten feet. There are many kinds of big cats, such as lions, tiger, white tigers, jaguar, leopard.... As as cat lover,I am very happy with it.
Beautiful but the entrance fee is high comparing to the views Most of the animals was sleeping A lot wasn't there The smell is bad in some areas It too hot and wet If you are not so in to animals it doesn't worth the time and money The panda conservation is great
This zoo is awesome in terms of wide variety of species from different part of the world. The Panda section really amaze you and the open amphitheater will give some light moment after a long walk. You will certainly carry good memories of seeing white tiger, Lion , Rhino & hippo. Off course you can't miss panda. It's a must visit place.
Expressive actually. Saw different kinds of animals. Flamingos were specially cute!😘 one camel was giving every suspicious look to me😂 enjoyed a lot with tons of exercise. Had pain in my legs for couple of days after that. Over all, the zoo is okay for a quality time with friends and family.
There are not many animals to see. The variety needs to increase. But it is an very open area which means it is hot. So you better put that sun screen on. It is nice place to take your kids. It is about 90rm for foreigners.
