"We as a family of 3 stayed at Hotel Westree triple room for 2 nights as transit flyover. Pros : Location great and strategic as near to KL Sentral for transport and shopping i.e. literally all the public transport (monorail, suburban train (KTM), KLIA Airport express, taxis) are less than 5 minutes walk and nearby are restaurants and eateries; daily free bottle waters provided and free WIFI but intermittent. Staff were friendly and courteous. Cons : Room has a musky smell when we first enter and when we remove a vase from the table, we saw ants/small insects crawling all over. We went and requested from the reception, for insect repellent and we sprayed all over the room. Next day, the ants/small insects appeared again even though the bin was clean . Secondly, storage of luggage were not kept in a secure room but at lobby /public lounge whereby anyone can come and go. So storage of luggages is at your own risk unless you are willingly to pay for extension of your room at RM20 per hour after check out. Overall great location but if you are not a fan of creepy crawlies or mosquitoes than you would need to consider." …

Great location but if you are a light sleeper or not a fan of mosquitos this is not the place to stay. The main Air Conditioner unit is louder than an aircraft and can be heard throughout the building.

For the price, approximately £8 per night, the place is fine for a short comfortable stay. The bed was clean and comfortable, and the bathroom nice. Whilst it won't inspire you to take photographs for the memories, it is completely fine for what it is.

Stay was good. Room and washroom were clean. Good WiFi connection. TV no use, only two channels were visible. Good location to access Indian restaurants and KL sentral for Public transport. For Solo it was very comfortable.

For the amount you pay for, the hotel offerings are awesome. All the things that you need for your stay are available. Rooms are small (that is what you get for what you pay for) but clean. The bathroom is clean and spacious. You can make coffee and tree , they provide bottled mineral water (not bottled drinking water like many upmarket hotels do).

This small hotel packs a punch when it comes to value for money qualities. Located in a long strip of budget hotels near KL Sentral area. I arrived around 4AM and checking in was a breeze. Water pressure is so strong so be extra careful. Keep up the good work.

I stayed in 304 and 204 for 1 day and then for 2 days. in this hotel. rooms are small and window less but clean . staff is helpful, as this hotel is situated in street called Mini India so plenty full of indian food, particularly vegetarian food. location is excelent as transport hub is right across the street for Air port metro, Intercity Metro, and all kind of Buss service.

The Westree is a well located and reasonably clean hotel for the price. But they will not offer you a receipt and even when I asked for one, the young lady at the desk told me I would get it in the morning when I check out. She also refered to my change as my REFUND which I would receive in the morning. I had her give me my change imedietily as it is not a refund but still did not receive a receipt. Very unprofessional at the front desk. A little dodgy in my opinion. How was I supposed to get my change back in the morning without any record (receipt) and of coarse she was not at the desk when I checked out at 6:30 in the morning.

Stayed in this hotel for 2 nights during my recent KL trip (from 11 until 13 June). Actually, I have been staying here on and off since 2015 and I can say that this is one of the best budget hotels in that area. The rate is affordable and remains unchanged for the past 4 years, and the location is just great (KL Sentral and Nu Sentral is just across the road). There's plenty of food options around the area (mostly mamak stalls and indian cuisines and there's also dominos pizza nearby). If you don't want to eat around the area you can always go to Nu Sentral which has even more food options. Whenever I stay here, I always get the windowless room, which is smaller than your average hotel room size, with just a small area for you to walk around the bed and put your luggage. I don't have any problem with this though, but this may pose a problem to families with small children or travelers with a lot of luggages. The shower is hot enough and air-conditioning is adequately cold. My only problem is the bathroom clogs easily even after a short shower, and I cant seem to open the floor drain cover. I will always consider staying here whenever I'm in KL.…
