The good: it is extremely close to Jalan Alor and Changkat with is good for party goers and foodies, the staff is professional, no deposit was taken from me upon checking in, checking in and out was a breeze, room aircond is sufficiently cold, bed smelled good and fresh, except for toothbrush everything else is provided including drinking water and instant coffee, a fridge and safety box is also in the room The bad: the path to hotel is dingy and filled with weird foreigners who sleeps on the pathway, the hotel reception is quite dim, lack of parking and I had to park at another hotel located 10 mins walk away with no security that it will be safe, the carpet in the room felt old but thankfully it wasn’t damp and actually felt alright, after discount the price is pretty alright but additional charges imposed by the hotel caused the final price to be pretty high. In summary, this is perhaps the best for its price in the location however I would not mind paying a little more to stay a little further where I felt safer leaving and entering the hotel. Perhaps more effort should be done to improve the surrounding of the hotel so guests would feel safer and more welcome and perhaps stay longer.…
Stayed on December 2020 n booked for single standard room for 2 nights. Pros, 1. Great location. 2. Clean hotel. 3. Modern design of toilet. I love the bathroom. 4. Friendly n helpfull staff. 5. Safe hotel as the access to the hotel required guest with card access. Even the elevator required card access. Thumbs up! Cons, 1. Room small. 2. Pillow not up to hotel standard. 3. Only 1 towel provided 4. Stained on the bed sheet. 5. Wall lamp not working. I didnt complsint to the hotel as it is not a big deal for me and i dont want the technician to step on my bed again when fixing the lamp. Additional info - During my booking of the hotel, I made a request to have a "Tampan" of room as i love a wooden floor. Upon my arrival, the hotel did gave me what i request for but its dissapointed me that upon my check in to the room, i found that the wall lamp was deattached and was on the bed (pls refer photo). I immediately report the incident and the hotel staff response adequately. Good job by the hotel staff. But what dissapointed me during the fixing of the lamp, the technician step on the bed when fixing the lamp which makes me to decide to request for another room. It is not right to stand n step on guest bed eventhough you just doing your job. - Overall, this hotel for me is comfortable n safe and definitely I will stay again in this hotel. My suggestion to this hotel management, please change your pillow to more comfortable pillow and please be more alert on the bedsheet. You have modern design of room but your bed, pillow n bedsheet not up to the standard yet.…
We booked a room for 3 nights and this is my overall experience. Hotel has great location in Bukit Bintang, no doubt. Price is reasonable, sure. Shower works fine, so far so good. But then... The room itself was dirty. Sure they had cleaned it but the carpet was full og stains, the curtains as well. The bathroom towels were nasty. The bedsheets.... full of brown, yellow stains and of course bloodstains. Not mine, that much i know. We complained about the bedsheets and sure enough they changed them, to another set with bloodstains.... The irony here is that you pay 100RM in security deposit for any stains or other damage caused by you. Hahaha.... The AC in the room was blowing directly at the bed which was not to my liking, but maybe thats just me. Every morning at 7.15 they play LOUD piano jazz on the speakers in the hall, so forget about sleeping in. Actually not the worst way to wake up, just wish it wasnt so loud. Now all of the aforementioned, I can live with. Its not the Hilton or the 4 seasons, and neither was I expecting this. But what I DID expect was a reception and staff that at least greet you when you enter, or at the very least understand your requests. We felt that they didnt care, didnt want to be bothered and didnt really understand. The worst part was they demanded we pay for 4 days tourist tax at check-in, when we were only to stay for 3 nights. I know this was on purpose because when we confronted the reception it was quickly noticed that we never recieced the receipt for the tax which clearly said 30RM instead of the 40RM we payed. At least we got it back. To me, this was the worst selling point. Will not stay here again and would recommend everyone the same...UNLESS you don't care and are just looking for a cheap place with a good location. Then this is just perfect.…
Pros: 1. Convenient location, two minutes walk to Jalan Alor and Bukit Bintang MRT station. 2. Good value room rates. 3. Room is reasonably clean and comfortable. Cons: 1. Room lighting is too dark, you won't be able to read a book. 2. Odour of sewage in the bathroom. 3. The hotel is located at a filthy backstreet.
Pros: 1. Excellent location! Just a block away from Jalan Alor. 2. My husband & I stayed in Deluxe room with king-sized bed. For the two of us, the size of the room was OK, not too small nor too big. 3. The bathroom was very spacious. 4. The breakfast menu was just OK. The rooftop restaurant was actually nice, though tiny. 5. Great service & helpful staffs, especially Miss Riza. 6. Firm bed, very comfortable for my backpain. Cons: 1. I wasn't too fond of the bright-red carpet in our room. 2. This wasn't actually the hotel's fault.. There was a young lady hanging around outside the hotel, she was talking to herself loudly all day long (not to be mean, I think she was mentally ill). She didn't attack us, but we were a bit scared to go outside (while waiting for taxi). My personal tip: ask for room on 6th floor. Best view & not too noisy. We could sleep very well at night 👍🏼…
I stayed in this hotel from the 24th to the 29th of December 2019. I stayed there as a solo traveler. I made the booking through booking.com. The hotel charged me 499 RM for my stay including a 50RM government tax. Also, the kept 100 RM as a deposit but, the handover it when you checkout. The staff was very friendly. I went there a little early before the check-in time but, the staff managed to arrange the room even before the check-in time. My room was on the 5th floor. It was a quite small room but, with all the facilities you want to stay there. The room service was excellent. They arranged for me whatever I requested. This hotel provides unlimited Wi-FI during the stay. The connection is fast enough to do your day to day work. Breakfast is also included in my package. The food is also good and the restaurant is clean enough. You should have to take your meal chit before you walk into the restaurant. This hotel is very close to the Bukit Bintang food street, Burjeya time square, Shopping malls and also to the metro station. It's just a matter of walking a few meters whenever you feel hungry. You can call a grab taxi to visit Batu caves, zoo Negara, KL Tower, China Town, and all the other nearby locations. Or you can just walk if you are interested in observing. This hotel is a non-smoking hotel. But, you can walk out of the hotel and smoke if you really want. I really like the hotel and its location. I'm looking forward to visiting there again.…
The location is at bukit bintang so it's pretty near to few places. You can take monorel & mrt too. There's pasar malam at night just besides the next road. The staffs are friendly. Only the towel got some smell.
The staffs are friendly. But our room was not so nice. Its noisy you can hear the traffic and pedestrians talking. Also we can smell the bad smell from. Outsise ( near to garbage station and the sewer). The view from our room is nasty :( maybe nicer in higher room. The bed is old and hard. The pillows are old and they have lose the shapes.. Not worth the money for the comfort. Location is near to the metro and restaurants city center. In Bukit Bintang but in the less glamorous area. The room should be cleaned better and upgraded
It was a reasonably satisfactory roof over our head. Nothing fancy, and it was not a dump either. The fotos looked bright, shiny, new. The room was old, tired, in need of refurbishment. Not worth anything like the full advertised price, we purchased at a huge discount which was probably what it was really worth. It was reasonably clean, but no hand towels provided? The bathroom was separated from the bedroom with "frosted glass" - but you could see rather too much as it was not nearly frosted enough. So we used the bathroom with the lights off. We had a personal towel taken from the room - probably an honest mistake. We also had some clothing disappear from the room. The reception staff were friendly. The check in procedure is strangely long and tedious. Very close to the walking street for tourist food and massage etc, yet it is also in a reasonably quiet side street for sleeping. If you need a laundry, suggest you find a do it yourself (not far), the one opposite that will do it for you looks dodgy - say no more.…
You need to condition yourself and realise you are staying at the RITZ but a cheap hotel you have chosen. Pros: - close to amenities; - 30 seconds to jalan alor food market which is unreal! - close to shopping malls and trains; - cheap if you plan to stay and sleep; - relatively clean bathroom - very helpful staff cons: - towels were in bad condition; - breakfast (unless you wanna eat noodles and fried rice in the morning) is really dull... the rooftop was not very clean which did not really convince me to have breakfast outside and to be honest to finish a cup of tea and one kaya toast you do not need much time - the location in the backalley does not make it very attractive; - my room had a view on sewers and back alley bins where you could see rats and in the morning you wake up to the sound to people cleaning bins or drains with big lorries and machines. I would maybe go again if I am on a tight budget but would opt out of breakfast. but to be fair again I chose a cheap stay and got what I bargained for.…
