The good: it is extremely close to Jalan Alor and Changkat with is good for party goers and foodies, the staff is professional, no deposit was taken from me upon checking in, checking in and out was a breeze, room aircond is sufficiently cold, bed smelled good and fresh, except for toothbrush everything else is provided including drinking water and instant coffee, a fridge and safety box is also in the room

The bad: the path to hotel is dingy and filled with weird foreigners who sleeps on the pathway, the hotel reception is quite dim, lack of parking and I had to park at another hotel located 10 mins walk away with no security that it will be safe, the carpet in the room felt old but thankfully it wasn’t damp and actually felt alright, after discount the price is pretty alright but additional charges imposed by the hotel caused the final price to be pretty high.

In summary, this is perhaps the best for its price in the location however I would not mind paying a little more to stay a little further where I felt safer leaving and entering the hotel. Perhaps more effort should be done to improve the surrounding of the hotel so guests would feel safer and more welcome and perhaps stay longer.

Pros:
1. Excellent location! Just a block away from Jalan Alor.
2. My husband & I stayed in Deluxe room with king-sized bed. For the two of us, the size of the room was OK, not too small nor too big.
3. The bathroom was very spacious.
4. The breakfast menu was just OK. The rooftop restaurant was actually nice, though tiny.
5. Great service & helpful staffs, especially Miss Riza.
6. Firm bed, very comfortable for my backpain.

Cons:
1. I wasn't too fond of the bright-red carpet in our room.
2. This wasn't actually the hotel's fault.. There was a young lady hanging around outside the hotel, she was talking to herself loudly all day long (not to be mean, I think she was mentally ill). She didn't attack us, but we were a bit scared to go outside (while waiting for taxi).

My personal tip: ask for room on 6th floor. Best view & not too noisy. We could sleep very well at night 👍🏼

I stayed at this hotel 5 years ago, which was the last time i was in KL and it was relatively decent. I stayed there again for one night and it was horrible! The carpets looked like they hadnt been hoovered or cleaned and i had to wear my outdoor slippers while in the room!. There were brown stains on the curtains and the rest of the room looked very tired and worn. On the plus side the bathroom and bed was in a okay state so we decided to stay as it was late when we checked in and we were only there for one night. Our room was on the 5th floor, which seemed like they were all dated rooms compared to the other floors looking at the outside decor and corridor condition. My previous stay was on lower floors I wouldnt stay here again.

I arrived with my expectations held high in terms of customer service and expectations held fairly low in terms of the room and amenities.
Boy did it all go topsy turvy anyway.

Firstly never go without cash in hand for deposit. No matter what your booking agent says. Mine said no deposit required, however i had to (forced to) fork out all the notes and coins from my wallet to pay for the deposit. The staffs were persistent in following textbook rules and did not give any levy to me and my guest in paying half or waiving off the deposit.
Their argument: its house rules. What is guest damages any amenities.
My argument: Booking add said no deposit required. A check can be performed upon checkout to ensure no damage is done.
End of day: I gave in and gave all money i had in hand, which led to numerous problems when i had no cash to spare for dinner.

Hotel's amenities were however good and the breakfast was fantastic I must say.
Here goes:

1. Bed comfort: 8/10
2. Room size: Small but smartly organized in terms of space.
3. Toilet/ Bathroom: Clean and well spaced, Hairdryer available. Yay.
4. Lighting in room: Dim, extra light would have been great.
5. Breakfast: No buffet here. Two set meals to choose from, taste wise; FANTASTIC.
6. WiFi: Good speed.
7. Location: Center of Bukit Bintang. Slightly deep but just right to avoid the loud noises from the clubs.
8. Parking space: Limited but available.
9. Views: Do not expect scenic views. They have 6 floors and its just simple city view.
10 Dining space: Rooftop; has nice views of KL Skyscrapers.

We booked a room for 3 nights and this is my overall experience.

Hotel has great location in Bukit Bintang, no doubt. Price is reasonable, sure. Shower works fine, so far so good.
But then...
The room itself was dirty. Sure they had cleaned it but the carpet was full og stains, the curtains as well. The bathroom towels were nasty. The bedsheets.... full of brown, yellow stains and of course bloodstains. Not mine, that much i know. We complained about the bedsheets and sure enough they changed them, to another set with bloodstains.... The irony here is that you pay 100RM in security deposit for any stains or other damage caused by you. Hahaha....

The AC in the room was blowing directly at the bed which was not to my liking, but maybe thats just me.

Every morning at 7.15 they play LOUD piano jazz on the speakers in the hall, so forget about sleeping in. Actually not the worst way to wake up, just wish it wasnt so loud.

Now all of the aforementioned, I can live with. Its not the Hilton or the 4 seasons, and neither was I expecting this. But what I DID expect was a reception and staff that at least greet you when you enter, or at the very least understand your requests. We felt that they didnt care, didnt want to be bothered and didnt really understand. The worst part was they demanded we pay for 4 days tourist tax at check-in, when we were only to stay for 3 nights. I know this was on purpose because when we confronted the reception it was quickly noticed that we never recieced the receipt for the tax which clearly said 30RM instead of the 40RM we payed. At least we got it back. To me, this was the worst selling point. Will not stay here again and would recommend everyone the same...UNLESS you don't care and are just looking for a cheap place with a good location. Then this is just perfect.

Near Bukit Bintang area, next to Jalan Alor food court!!

This hotel is in an excellent location in Kuala Lumpur and is very good value for money. The rooms are fairly basic but have all necessary amenities including wifi and a safe, and the decor is modern. The breakfast here is as good as you will get in any budget hotel in Asia.

This hotel is one of those places you dont assume to be great untill you visit them. Its an hidden treasure.
The place is taken care of with love and you feel it in every little detail. It makes you not care for the few minors that this place has too (bad wifi at room 608)
If you are a romantic fool like me, travelling to be touched and not to be treated with perfection, you check in here.this place is perfect in an whole other dimension.

The smallest rooms (they have bigger ones!)......are small, really small.....but, strangely enough, the best i had in years!!
I travel a lot and i am used to 5 star hotels, top end hotels. But they do not what this place does. It touches me. This room i am in is like a japanese hotel room, small but it has everything you need, from safehouse, to waterheater/coffeepads, to shampo and even mini-fridge:-))

The free breakfast provided is not a snotty doughnut served with a dried-out toast....no way!! The top-floor resto is cozy, romantic, flowers, with a bar (lunch and diner served as well), with good music and a wide view on KL, a terras, from were you can contemplate on the day to come. The breakfast consists of 3 choices, plated with delicious items, barely to be associated with the low price of the room.

But what the place makes good at the end is the great staff, from the friendly receptionist, to the polite bell-boy, to the cleaning staff and resto people.

You enter a lobby that is a weird mix of a fancy cocktail-bar and a hindo-sanctuary, but dont be afraid, you have the time of tour life!!

Great hotel in great location. Small but very clean rooms with fun decor. Great bathroom. Pleasant and helpful staff. Area seemed a little seedy at first but we loved the nearby street food market and the close proximity to monorail, subway and trains. Comfortable bed. An excellent budget choice.

Dear Sir/Madam, The most convenient way is to call 2 budget taxis from the airport counter. It will cost between RM80 - RM110 per taxi. Alternatively you may request for an airport van to our hotel which cost between RM195 to RM240. We do not recommend a six seater car as you may be carrying luggage with you (a six seater car does not have much luggage space). Thank you and we look forward to your stay here.
