Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this boutique hotel and would definitely return. We loved: The location - close proximity to all Bukit Bintang escapades, plenty of options for eating and drinking. Also walkable to Chinatown/KLCC/City Centre but walking isn't too popular in KL due to extremely hazardous footpaths and sweat factor. Infinity pool - was a great relief...

KL Journal hotel is hipster, artsy and modern in every way. This gem is just a short walk away from Pavilion mall KL and Changkat (rows of bars). Tucked behind HSBC Amanah building, this modern and contemporary hotel is the right fit for corporates companies who are looking to book meeting rooms for employee trainings, town halls, and social networking....

Really enjoyed this hotel, great location within walking distance to major sites and malls in Kuala Lumpur, room and hotel are very modern, view was great and the pool is very nice. The staff was the best part - they were very helpful and would call us a taxi wherever we needed to go, I had to go to the...

This boutique hotel is a great option at a great price point. The location is right in the middle of Bukit Bintang. Walkable to lots of food and shopping options. Right outside, 10 paces to the right is a little shop with fresh pork buns. Roof top pool is a great place to cool down, HSBC building does block the...

Spent 3 nights here as our final stopover in Malaysia, have to say this hotel goes above and beyond. Beautiful hotel, artisan breakfasts and super friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are awesome, ours was huge with the bed in the centre of the room. Really wonderfully designed. More than enough amenities (6 bottles of water in the room each...

Stayed here on our first night in KL as a stopover before travelling in Malaysia. Great location, less than 5 mins walk from the Bukit Bintang monorail. The room was lovely and the bathroom large and beautifully done out! Room was quiet even though it's in a busy area, so we slept very well! Service was good and they offered...

The hotel itself is beautiful. Rooms are very spacious and look very new. Nice furniture and comfortable bed. Breakfast is excellent. Location is good if you like shopping as there are many shopping malls around. Quite busy neighbourhood. Please be aware if you ask for a taxi to one of the security people at the entrance. The fare they offered...

This hotel is great value and in a good location. Breakfast area and breakfast was definitely the highlight. Pool was very small and not well maintained, and its view not so nice so if you are looking for that typical high rise KL thing, look elsewhere. Rooms are very good, but could also use some maintenance because some of the...

Great location in the middle of Bukit Bintang, close by the Mono-rail, spent 3 nights in end of January and I was really glad that I had chosen The KL Journal, it was a great hotel and went well beyond my expectations. Rooms are spacious and filled with high-tech amenities (loved the speaker/alarm system). The staff although not very engaging...

Stayed 1 night, and had a relaxing time by the pool. Just eat around the corner in jalan alor food or one of the many malls. Located centrally, and the staff...
