I recently stayed at the Face Suite Hotel right in the centre of Kuala Lumpur. This hotel has many great feature and the infinity pool was my favourite place, I swam there every day. Its location meant that I could literally walk to the Twin towers. When I initially entered the foyer and walked over to the reception desk I was not greeted with a, ‘Welcome’ or any type of friendly expression. The young lady kept her head down and showed no expression and just asked for my passport. After this she just passed back my passport and shoved the room card at me. My room was very spacious with a kitchen, tv lounge, large shower/toilet and a large bedroom. I did on one occasion have some wet clothes to dry so I used the washer/dryer. It was so noisy and after 1 hour my clothes were still wet. The final issue I had was that the house keeping did not exist? I left the card outside my door for it to be cleaned and nothing occurred. I actually ran out of toilet roll and had to ring down to the reception for someone to bring some to my room. In this type of establishment, I did not expect to encounter these failings. The Face Suite has many good features, the infinity pool is fabulous, but just because it is so large that does not excuse it for providing a second rate service and not interacting with its customers

When booked thru Booking.com, the name of the place is what my title shows. It’s a two-bedroom apt located near Bukit Nanas monorail station. There r two convenience stores at back of apt. The apt was spacious n clean. Lobby is big with sitting area to wait for Grab. V nice stay n good value for money. Four towels provided with toothbrush n toothpaste. Shampoo n soap provided. No housekeeping daily.

Wow the rooms are so spacious, even with a full kitchen and washing machine. Good shower, soft towels. But breakfast isn’t so great with limited options. Not really something you would expect at such an quality hotel as face suite is. The infinity pool on the 51 floor has a amazing view, great way to cool off in the warm city of KL.

If you have limited time in Kuala Lumpur and value good service, avoid this place for the following reasons: - The staff were unfriendly and rude. - There was a terrible lack of organization. - The elevators were a waste of time, and we were stuck waiting on one floor for half an hour. - The rooftop pool was oversold and overhyped. If you value good service, you may be better off staying at a Hilton, Sheraton, or Shangri-La, where you will receive good service for the money you pay, and it might even be cheaper than this place. Longer / Detailed story: On the day of our arrival, we arrived at noon, while check-in was at 3 pm (I agree – we were early). My wife was feeling sick and wanted to rest, but they told us the room was not ready (fair enough, as we were before check-in time). We managed to check in (without receiving the keys) and paid the tourist tax. We also requested a baby bed. We asked for pool access or a quiet place for her to rest, but they left her at the crowded reception for three hours. At 3 pm, the room was still not ready and we were told to come back at 5 pm. At this point, they still did not want to give us access to the pool, despite us paying for the service. Additionally, they had lost our tourist tax payment and wanted us to pay it again. At 5 pm, we finally received the key and went to the room. The room itself was nice. I reminded them about the baby bed. We went to the pool, but the guards were unfriendly and reluctant to give us towels. The pool was nice, but it did not have a view of the Petronas towers as advertised and sold everywhere. There were only 12 seats for all the customers, and the guards were removing the pillows while customers were sitting on them and arguing with them, literally pulling them away. (fun to watch – never saw that anywhere else) When we tried to leave the pool, the problems started. I was in swimwear with a baby in diapers, none of our keys worked, and we were stuck in an elevator that took ages and went up and down randomly. Our key did not work and we could not choose the floor without a key, so we were stuck in the elevator for 10 minutes, waiting for it to go back down to our floor. This eventually happened, but our room was locked. This cost another 10 minutes in the elevator, eventually reaching the reception with the baby. There, they reactivated my key, and with all confidence, I went in the elevator again. However, we got stuck in the elevator for 10 minutes again, and went back to the reception. There, they first reminded me that I had not paid the tourist tax (for the third time). Then I received a key reactivation, but I wanted a new key (a different one). This time, a lady from the service desk came with me. We got stuck in the elevator again, and the key still did not work. Eventually, after almost one hour, I made it to my room. We went out for dinner and returned later, but we got stuck in the elevator again. I went to the reception and received a new set of keys. It was 9 pm when we finally received the baby bed after I called again. In the mean time I also asked for the hot water (yes, I forgot the paper they showed us at 1200 at the reception, with the instruction to turn on the water boiler) / they simply said : *it is behind this place as the reception told you* and hang off without a hi or a by or anything, with a super rude voice. In the morning, we had a tight schedule as we had to be at the Petronas towers at 12:15 (a 10-minute walk from the hotel) to get tickets and go up at 1:15 pm. At 11:30, we went to the room, but the room was locked and we were locked out. It took me 20 minutes to wait for the elevator, five minutes to go down, and 20 minutes to get back up to my room again. At 12:15, I left my room and waited for the elevator. At 12:30, the elevator still had not arrived, and at this point, a family with a stroller arrived. In order to save time, I took the emergency stairs from the 10th floor down to the reception. However, the door was locked (it was an emergency stair). I walked up a few floors again, exited through a random parking level, and walked down all the floors. I ran to the towers and finally arrived at 1 pm. It was still possible to get tickets (the staff at the towers were very friendly). The problem was that the family was still stuck on the same floor. At 1:10 pm, they finally made it down, and had to run the whole way to the towers with the baby. At 1:20 pm, we finally made it to the towers. To conclude, this was a terrible experience and a waste of time and money. If you value good service and do not want to waste your money, avoid this place. It may even be cheaper to stay at a Hilton, Sheraton, or Shangri-La, where you will receive good service for the money you pay.

The worst ever service apartment. Service and housekeeping were terrible. We stayed at room #29-02. Wifi connection was not working throughout our stay for 3 nights. We reported a few times to the owner, but nothing was been done. Thus, no access to TV channels, Netflix and etc. The room condition was not that cleaned either. The worst experienced was during check out. Waited 45mins for the elevator. Indefinitely not coming back again. There are way better hotels and service apartments.
