We stayed here for 2 nights before going on out island holiday and we really started out vacation in style. The grand lobby is breathtaking and the rooms are plush and extremely comfortable. The breakfast buffet is vast and the themed evening buffets are delicious. A lovely pool with sunken bar and plenty of space to lay in the sun....

Nice hotel but staff are blissfully ignorant of international standards of guest care. Had my wallet stolen and the obvious culprits were hotel contractors - security team enthusiastically agreed and then failed to interview them. No compensation offered and communication on the issue has been abysmal.

Since we were the one communicating with the hotel via the Prestige Membership to book the rooms of our family, entourage and guests for our wedding the details were of course placed under our name. At first, we were directly communicating with the manager of Prestige Membership Ms Anne where our emails were promptly responded. All of our long and...

Stayed here previously for 3 days during May 2016 (see my previous review) so thought I would give it another chance and this time stay for 6 nights during Feb 2017. Checking in went okay and was actually given a room with a sea view this time after being told I had one last time only to find it was...

We stayed at The Manila Hotel for four nights, 7 to 10 March 2017. We were fortunate to be upgraded to the Executive Floor – floor 15, though the additional benefits were never fully explained to us. The hotel is lovely, as you would expect from a hotel that is 105 years old. The history associated with the hotel was...

Full of history and a history by itself, this hotel was built in 1912. And it doesn't feel like it. Even after a few restorations and a bomb. Rates are not bad and the location is great. Rooms are clean and comfy. WiFi is just ok, but one gadget per login? Bummer. TV signal needs improvement. Breakfast is easily one...

The former glory of this hotel cannot be ignored. The lobby with its chandeliers, grand piano, small orchestra and staff in long dresses just impresses. Where better to sit and watch the world go by. The buffet breakfast was impressive and particular mention to the napkin wizards who folded the napkin each time you left your seat. What style. Our...

The Manila Hotel is the Grand Old Lady of Central Manila. It has so much history and it's old bones sometimes show its age, but a refurbishing has added some polish and modern day luxury. The lobby is a grand parlor in which to have tea, and sometimes a mini-concert. The rooms are comfortable and spacious (for Manila). The only...

This hotel may have been glorious in the old days, less now. Rooms are fine but furniture is in need of attention. Clean . Food is avarage . Pool is closed in the morning so morning swim is not easy. Location ok.

The older part of the hotel is full of colonial charm and very 1920s in style. The hotel has improved hugely since we first stayed here 10 years ago. Great swimming pool and pool bar / snacks. Within walking distance and really convenient for the old part of Manilla / Intramuros
