We tried to check in to 3 different rooms all where no good. First one the door lock was broken you could not enter the room. Second room you could not lock your door if you left your room. The third room the AC unit was pulled out of the wall. It is 6 days later and they still haven't... More

Staff here are good at apologising with a smile. (I guess they are experienced at that.) The room by Phillipine price standards was in the 3 star range at $48 I complained about the mouldy smell and the air con that sounded like a freight train. I was moved to another room Thanks. But. No internet No drinking water No... More

Me and the missus stayed recently at this hotel in a standard room. .....it had a passable bathroom, Manilas oldest concaved bed with a somewhat dreary dated furnishings and a windowless view. ...even for the 1600 peso paid it was below par. Caveat emptor. ...There is a lot better around. .......next door for instance

Stayed here 6 nights in all (2 nights at a time) travelling to and from Manila. My usual hotel just next door was full when I first arrived so gave the Garden Plaza a chance. Paid 1600P (just over £20) for double aircon room. Clean room with good aircon and nice bathroom. Breakfast (American or Filipino) included and was quite... More

A good hotel has, at least, an air-conditioned reception hall where guests could relax and avoid the heat of the metropolis. This hotel does not have an AC in the entire lobby, hallways and other rooms! The rooms are clean, spacious, and comfy. The shower area had a tarnished tub. There is a swingers bar at the lobby :-( and... More

I once stayed here with my college friends and boy were we in for a treat-sarcastically speaking. The room that we were assigned to was a two bedroom deluxe. What we got was a creaking old room. Spacious but creaky and creepy. They had this "OK: facade, modern and fitting with the location of the hotel, but once, you come... More

I'm sure in it's glory days this place must have been wonderful. You can still see beneath the run down and well used exterior a once beautiful women of a hotel. A grand story of a Swiss man building a hotel in this tropical paradise to remind him of a chalet in the Swiss Alps. Much of the heavy dark... More

Garden Plaza Hotel may be disliked by some because of the location but not me . It is located beside Paco Park and I personally find it a plus . Aside from accommodation it offers, a few steps away you can visit the park where heroes were once buried. The park also has a beautiful chapel where most couples would... More

We checked into 3 rooms to avoid the floods in the area. Left an ipad when we hastily checked out to avoid further floods. I reported the loss a little over an hour after check out.
