This is the classic campground for the Nantahala gorge and Fontana lake area. Established, quiet, clean, friendly with the same owners/managers for years. Many say nicest bath/shower rooms (tile) around. Wifi!

We have been camping for many years, but have never met campgrounds owners like the owners of turkey creek. Super amazing. They think of everything. And they went out of their way to help us out (again, Miss Rose thanks you!!!!!) The grounds are clean and the rest rooms are spotless.

The campground was small and quaint. Bathrooms always impeccably clean! Recently renovated, sad to have no papertowels or hand dryer though. Laundry was available. Mike and Rimmel were very nice. Very affordable prices

A good stop for campers. The camp is well cared for, bathrooms are clean and showers hot. The owners are open, pleasant and accommodating. The campground is shaded and drains well during rains. Its location helps shelter during strong storms with winds. We have stayed here during the Carolina Canoe Club Week of Rivers for a week the last three...

Just came back from camping here at Turkey Creek. This place is awesome. Perfect location. Nice campsites. Clean bathrooms. Little stream. Play room for the kids. Relaxing deck with tv to watch the Euros. Short hike to the lake. Close by to the Nantahala river for whitewater rafting.

I started camping at Turkey Creek about 4 years ago. Since my family has made it a second home, we go up for a week during the 4th and also a couple weekends here and there through the year. The facilities are top notch and the Smiths are such nice folks! The kids run around, ride bikes, and play in...

The showers and toilets were clean and tidy with adequate cubicles for the size of camp ground , Laundry room , pool room , Jacuzzi ,...

A very special spot with a stream, towering trees, and very thorough and caring maintenance. Been here before and be here again. Owners on premises and the showers, toilets, and laundry are kept clean many times a day. Everyone we've met is a prior guest and you can see why. John and Rita

Camping here for over 20 years. Run by the nicest folks in The Smokies. Ramelle and Mike Smith make you feel welcome. Don't forget to introduce yourself to Huey, the campground tour guide. Plenty to do during the day locally, and a great place to kick back in the evenings. Family oriented! Dogs are welcome!
