My husband and I stayed in the cottage with my mom an dad. It was wonderful. Linda was a great host. We so enjoyed setting on the porch listening to the birds sing and watching the squirrels playing. The flowers are beautiful. We had king size beds in both bedrooms, they had some starter drinks in the fridge. We will be back. Great memories.

My husband and I were in town for a wedding and stayed at the Cozad-Cover House with some of the other wedding guests. We stayed for 2 nights in the Ann Room which had it's own bathroom. The room was beautiful as was the entire house. We did have 1 issue with the bathroom plumbing but Jerry, the owner, took care of it quickly and all with a smile on his face. The breakfast was excellent both mornings and included eggs, meat, fruit, and a bread of some kind (biscuits one morning and waffles the next). Both Linda & Jerry were a pleasure to talk to and we would love to return in the near future.

My husband and I just returned from a great weekend in the NC mountains to see the Fall colors and stayed two nights at the Cozad-Cover House. We had heard of it through a mutual friend and we had a wonderful time! The owners Jerry and Linda were warm, welcoming and spoiled us with a beautiful room and a huge, delicious gourmet breakfast each morning. They both are very friendly, personable and made us feel at home in their home. We stayed in the studio house next door to the main house. It was beautiful as was the whole property. It had everything we needed; large rooms, comfortable king bed and Jacuzzi tub, which was felt so good after a long day of mountain sightseeing and hiking. The main house had lovely rooms and a beautiful wrap around front porch. If you are looking for a place to stay in the far corner of western NC you won't be disappointed in your stay. We can't wait to go back. Thank you Jerry and Linda for a great visit!

Stay in the gorgeous big house or the private Studio house adjacent. All of the living quarters are wonderfully furnished, the grounds are beautiful, the owners are gracious, helpful, accomodating, erudite, travelled hosts. Breakfasts were over the top with wonderful variety of dishes served on beautiful china and silver. A thoroughly delightful place to stay for a night or a week. The city rolls up the sidewalks about 8 p.m., and I think the streets are rolled up soon after that. We loved our visit, wish we could have stayed longer, and we will plan another trip just so we can stay here again!

My wife and I spent a Saturday night at the Covad-Cover house (in the Studio) and had an excellent time. The property is great and the owners are even better. We found the property to be very well maintained and very clean. Better than we expected. Huge oak trees and a large lawn make this a great place to spend a night or two. The breakfast was incredible as well. The House is only a short 15 minute drive to pristine Lake Nantahala. Will definitley return.

My husband and I have stayed in the Studio and the Main House. LOVE BOTH.

The studio is very open and you can see the grounds with the huge trees. No curtains on the huge windown that over looking the yard - but no one can see you anyways ,.....so not to matter. Bathroom is alittle tooo open for my taste but didn't bother me much. I let the hostess know and she commented that she has another screen on order. Linda told us to feel free to move the other one around to suit us. Bed was great and so was the kitchen area -- they even had cokes, beer and water in the refrig for us. The hiking and surrounding area is just great - so much to do. Accomadations better than anything around !

The main house is wonderful also - the breakfast is just fantastic. I just love to sit and talk with Jerry and Linda in the mornings and then sit out on the great front porch in the evening.

Would recommend this bed and breakfast and will go back !

First, the b&b is right off a somewhat high traffic'd road so you could hear cars going by a lot from outside. We stayed in the Studio and the downstairs kitchen and eating area were great! The patio chairs and table outside were a bit shabby but the grill worked. The lawn outside is very nice - but again, cars could be heard going back and forth. Upstairs was also nice, the living area had an outdated TV but we weren't there for TV. The king size bed was comfortable but the pillows were very thick and hard - not quite my style. I ended up using one of the throw pillows from the sofa because the others hurt my neck. The very bad points were the a/c kept turning off - and it got very hot in the room during the night. We opened the windows to get a breeze going but then could hear cars, etc. But then during the day it would seem to work again. The HUGE jacuzzi tub was very nice but by the second night, it leaked water ALL over the bathroom floor, getting some clothes and towels wet. Also the toilet is not private - but just out on display (so I had to make my fiance go into the living room but I still had no door to close). Also there are large floor-to-ceiling picture windows in the living room with absolutely NO window treatments. At night, we worried about being seen so no walking around in jammies and be careful leaving the bathroom area just after bathing. All in all, was a pleasant stay but would not go again.

I recently spent 3 nights here with my parents ( see above review ) and we had a thoroughly enjoyable stay at this excellent B&B.
The owners ( Linda and Jerry ) are wonderful hosts and the breakfasts were delicious. We were made to feel very welcome.
I would highly recommend this B&B.
