We were looking for a place to stay with our daughter and furbabies and fiynf the Hunter`s Run Lodge. Brenda and Don were very kind and we fell in love with the cabin and surroundings. The cabin was the perfect size for the family. I loved the jacuzzi tub and the front porch. My daughter enjoyed seeing all the animals... More

The Cabin my husband and I stayed in at "Hunters Run" was beautiful! We were very pleased. The week end there was so peaceful , the pond , quartz rocks and sitting on the porch watching the stars in the night sky, was heaven. I never thought a cabin in the woods would offer us so much, we are going... More

We rented one of two cabins available at this establishment; the setting was lovely- overlooking a bond and next to an enclosure with alpacas grazing. We were a family of three with an adult friend joining us. We brought food and planned to cook- it was a bit of a challenge because the pots and pans provided were in pretty... More

My boyfriend and I attended a BBQ festival in nearby Lexington, NC and realized that we'd need to search in Asheboro for accomodations that night. I am so glad that I called and spoke with Brenda at Hunter's Run Lodge. We had a cabin all to ourselves that Saturday night. Brenda was very kind as she allowed us to tour... More

I found this place while driving up to the zoo. My children loved this place. It is a B&B in the middle of a farm. There is so much for the kids to do and see that they really didn't even care if we went to the zoo or not. We all had a fabulous stay and can't wait to... More

This is not a bed-and-breakfast. It is a bed. No breakfast. The owners have apparently run into health difficulties and can no longer provide breakfast. This would have been nice to know before I arrived. No particular amenities, not even morning coffee, were provided.

Very spacious one bedroom (one king bed, one single bed in an alcove), two bath (one with shower, one with huge jacuzzi tub) two story cabin. Enormous porch with beautiful view over ponds and pasture. Well supplied kitchen area (small frig, microwave, four burner stove, coffee maker). Heating system was excellent, so I assume the air conditioning would be also.... More
