This place is relatively near to where we live but it might as well be 200 miles away. It is that sort of a feeling of escape. There were a couple of small wrinkles but nothing much to worry about. Deer grazing on the lawn...More

It's about 8 miles south of town, Sasha. It's near the summit of the pass over Mt Ashland but at least for me, it is well worth the drive if you are looking for a place with a very romantic atmosphere. If you want to be close to town for the Shakespeare festival, you could consider something in Ashland but I do suggest treating yourself to Callahan's for at least a night. Booking through a discount web site proved to make my stay affordable as well. Hope this helps!
