Staff are excellent and friendly. However the hotel is located in the middle of nowhere and guests are pretty much restrained to dine in the hotel restaurant which does not serve good food and it is overpriced. The room and facilities are so outdated and wore out, and it is hard to tell if they are clean.

For Valentine's Day, my Love took me to Callahan's for a special romantic dinner. I didn't think that we could get in because it was Valentine's Day and we didn't have reservations!! After three years of health issues happening to my Love, and being so stressed with, one stroke, one heart attack and a serious fall accident with heavy trauma...

It's unusual for me to write a review that is somewhat contrary to many of the very positive reviews posted here of this lodge, but I think it important that readers read different experiences. My wife and i booked this lodge for the first time via a hotel booking website; it stated a 9% resort fee so we expected a...

Thank you for feedback on our friendly staff, good food and our location. We are proud of our staff and always enjoy hearing that they have done well. Your feedback on our Lodge is appreciated. It's the Wandering Yank here. Mrs. Yank and I spent a night in Ashland recently, and we found this on hotels.com significantly discounted. It's 10 miles south of town, almost at the California border, but the photos interested us. It's a stone's throw from I-5, right at an exit. There's nothing else around, so you really do feel like you're...

There are 19 rooms at this Lodge. We were in room #25 with an amazing view & large balcony. King-sized bed, fireplace w/ chairs, dining table, huge jetted tub, robes and special touches (probably only a woman would notice the cute pine cone towel racks or care about the bathroom amenities). ~great shampoo and conditioner (and lotion!). Alex took care...

When taking pictures of the lodge, I noticed the pine cone towel rack as well. Snow will be coming in the months ahead - so when the timing is right, come back to the snow. :)

We stayed here with our five kids, ages 6 mos to 12 years. I'm a bit of a hotel snob and was very skeptical about the pets welcome situation. I'm not a person who stays at lodges or camps or does anything outdoorsy. We LOVED this place!! It was so clean, and the staff was genuinely SO nice! They weren't...

Keith - I am sorry for your recent experience at Callahan's. If you return again during your travels, the smoked salmon will be on the house and I will personally ensure that the Hot-tubs are extra clean for your arrival. Our protocols for ensuring a high customer experience appear to have failed during your stay and will be corrected immediately.

My husband surprised me with a getaway for our 10 year anniversary and it was amazing! He went up earlier in the day and spread rose petals and set up candles in the bedroom area. Quin who was working down stairs was very kind, and lit the candles for my husband so everything was perfect and ready when we arrived!...

First and foremost, the staff in this hotel could not have possibly been more accommodating. They were excellent and so very friendly, and that always vastly improves a stay anywhere. • Clean and well furnished.
  • Jetted tub in room. Nice and cozy.
