This hotel is very nice, has free parking and an indoor pool. Also breakfast is included, which is nice. The rooms are a nice size and in good shape. Only slight downside is that it is a pretty long walk to the Shakespeare events, but it's doable, so you can avoid parking elsewhere.

There are posher lodgings, for sure, in Ashland. There are places closer to OSF or the college. The Stratford is always my family's first choice. Comfortable rooms, nice people, a lovely walk in to OSF. The only drawbacks are a breakfast room that is too small and the noise when a couple of tour buses unload - bring your "white...

Thank you very much! We are happy to hear you enjoyed your experience. Unfortunately tour buses full of people can be quite loud, but we are glad that your overall stay was enjoyable.

This is our last stop on a road trip, and we've had a couple doozies in our hotels along the way. Stratford Inn is a pleasant place to spend the night. This is our second time staying here, and we will probably choose to stay here again next time we pass through Ashland. Our room is on the back, so...

Updated very nicely since our last visit. There is now a coffee shop in the hotel. This is living! We will definitely return. Staff were courteous and helpful. Nearby gym was nice, and easy for guests to use.

Room was dark and dingy. Bed clothes old. TV did not work well. Overall not worth the price. Would not recommend staying here. The location is acceptable which is about the best thing that can be said about it.

Beds are too high, elevator smelled, breakfasts was lacking. For the price charged there should have been a better variety of foods offered. Hotel was further away than what was stated. Staff was friendly and helpful.

The room was very nice and clean throughout. The peep hole in the door was a bit too high for those who are height challenged. Also, the bathroom hook on the door could have been lower.. The breakfasts were not memorable.

We enjoyed our stay. The hotel is clean and comfortable. The breakfast is very good. The location is convenient; we could walk to everything. Parking is a little tight if you are driving an SUV like ours.

We come to Ashland yearly, and have stayed at the "Historic" hotel downtown, but prefer Stratford. The rooms are clean and roomy and the staff very friendly and responsive when possible. I know it's "in season" pricing, but the rooms are rather simple and amenities a bit below expectations for the prices. The beds are comfortable, but not luxurious. The...
