Nice grounds and furnishings but NOT a bed & breakfast. There were 4 pieces of fruit for our 4-night stay and tasteless coffee pods, which the owners called "amenities" in their written (only) communication posted in the room. Great location just 4 blocks from theaters, but the negatives outweighed the positives. No shelves, drawers, or surfaces to place clothing and...

I am amazed at the reviews I read. This place was great. They provide fruit, coffee and a full kitchen. If that is not good enough then stay at the Motel 6. This was way nicer than any hotel plus it is walking distance from everything .

There was no breakfast, and we did not meet or connect with owners/management or other guests. Prices had escalated. Service was non-existent. 25$ for fresh towels when you are staying 3 nights? A motel has more anbience, but the location is great and the new owners are taking advantage of the positive experiences of previous guests

We have stayed at the Pelton House several times over the past few years. We have much enjoyed it as a well run and well located B&B which met all our needs in attending the Shakespearean Festival. We had reservations for this June many months in advance and were quite surprised to find upon our arrival that it is no...

We stayed here, for the first time, for 4 days and 3 nights. Only 2 blocks from the theaters with free parking for 3 cars in the back. Our friends, who have stayed there for years, were also guests. The main house has 2 bedrooms, kichen, living room, lounge with daybed, and half bath . The attached "suite" with seperate entrance...

While the breakfast situation at the Pelton House has changed, the kindness of the innkeepers has not. In the past two months, Lynn (the new owner along with her brother Hani) was endlessly kind and considerate to me as I changed and re-changed my reservations in the course of a confusing work relocation process. I've stayed at Pelton over the...

We booked with the Pelton B&B last November for May, 2016, but were not told breakfast was no longer served until after we had checked in and unpacked, and then only after we asked what time breakfast was served. If you like staying in a fine room without seeing other people, and know in advance that breakfast is not included,...

This season, the Pelton's new owners changed the property from a B&B to a "Guest House," meaning no convivial breakfasts with other guests or casual socializing in the living room during afternoon or evening. It's been a shock to long-time guests of the B&B. I decided to keep my 2016 reservations despite the change, and it worked OK. My room...

We've stayed at many B&Bs in Ashland Oregon. For the past 13 years we've stayed at the Pelton House. We always book well in advance. In December 2015 we received a letter from the owners telling us the place had sold but that all reservations would be honored. We called a few days prior to our arrival to verify our...

This was our sixth or seventh stay at Pelton House. All previous experiences were wonderful under the former owners. However, the change in ownership is not to the guests' benefit. It is no longer a "B&B" and there was NO service at all. We never saw anyone affilitated with the proprietor, except for a plumber who cut off the water...
