The reason one goes to Ashland is for the theatre, the best in the world! The Manor is a short walk to the theatre or to excellent restaurants close by. It is not fancy, but it is comfortable and good value, with a very friendly and accommodating management!

Yes, the room was small, but if that's not a big deal to you (it's not to us) then this is a fine place to stay. We walked to the main part of the tourist area, the theater and Lithia Park. We were not disturbed by noise and had good rest. The bed was comfortable. Free parking - we even...

This motel offers ideally located rooms with free parking and wi-fi just a 10 minute walk from downtown! The per night rate is the best to be found and the staff and owners are super friendly! All rooms are on ground level with dedicated parking, there are special outside areas to sit and commune with nature. This is really the...

I have stayed at this motel many times over the past few years. It happens to be next door to a senior residence where my mom lived the last 10 years of her life. So convenience was first, but I also felt at home there. Like the 40's motor court design. I stayed in rooms 4 or 6 with kitchenettes....

This is the kind of motor court that America had 50 or more years ago. So it is a treat for those seeking the now-rare experience, but probably less desirable for younger people not used to this kind of property. The high-season prices are a great value. The managers were wonderfully friendly and helpful. Our unit, in the middle of...

The Manor Motel is an old "auto court" motel probably built in the late 30's or early 40's. The units we stayed out were 12 and 3. 12 is the best if you have pets. There is a private court yard off the bedroom. Close to the road so noise can be an issue, but not late at night. Small...

Clean, very reasonably priced, basic, quiet. I wasn't looking for a elaborate venue--just a place that's close and comfortable. It filled my bill to a "T"! I loved the fact that I could walk to the theatre because that was the reason for my trip.

The motel is older and I would categorize the rooms more as small cottage type. They were comfortable but no extra amenities. The owner was very pleasant and helpful. Within walking distance to downtown area which was great. We enjoyed the walk and found the shops and cafes to be pleasant. We returned to the motel in the late evening...

This is a very nicely kept up quaint motel in a great location close to downtown Ashland and the Shakespeare theater (about 5 blocks--you can't trust all the places that say they are within "walking distance"). Rooms are comfortable and grounds include small garden and picnic areas. Nicely equipped kitchenettes. Very quiet at night despite being on main road. I...

My boyfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We paid a little extra to get a room with a small kitchen, which ended up saving us money in the long run. It had a full refrigerator, oven, stove, microwave, utensils, plates, pots and pans, so we made one grocery run that sustained us for breakfast every morning and a...
